includes e2e (ear-to-ear) wireless™
tec nology. T e wireless functionality:
Automatically adjusts bot earing
instruments simultaneously to adapt
to different listening situations
Provides sync ronisation of t e
earing instrument settings. If you
c ange t e volume or program on
one instrument, t e ot er is
automatically c anged
Your NHS Audiologist can activate t e
wireless functionality of your earing
system.
Domes and
receiver mou ds
CAUTION
Risk of injury caused by incorrect
use of Domes.
Always wear t e Receiver Unit
wit t e Dome
Make sure t at t e Dome is
completely attac ed to t e
Receiver Unit
If t e Dome remains in your
ear, ave it removed by a
medical professional
Replace t e Dome if it breaks
Insert t e Receiver Unit wit
t e Dome carefully and not too
deeply into t e ear
Use t e Receiver Unit and
Dome only in t e manner
described in t is user guide
Your NHS Audiology Department
offers an assortment of receiver
lengt s and Dome sizes to best
fit your ear.

T e Receiver Unit can be

Audiologist. If you need to
replace t e Receiver Unit by
yourself follow t ese directions

Your earing instrument may be
programmed to inform you w en t e
battery s ould be replaced for best
system performance. You may ear an
intermittent series of beeps and/or
experience low amplification power or
volume. C ange t e battery w en
eit er of t ese occur.
Power-on de ay
Your earing instrument may be
equipped wit a “power-on delay”
feature.
T is feature delays sound from entering
your earing instrument w en it is first
turned on, so t at you may insert t e
earing instrument into your ear
wit out experiencing unpleasant
feedback (w istling).
On/Off using the program button
Your IMPACT R can also be programmed
by your NHS Audiologist to be turned
on and off using t e program button.
Remove cerumen wit a soft tissue.
No ot er tools are required
To remove dried cerumen, moisten t e
soft tissue wit a cerumen solvent
Dab t e cerumen wit t e moistened
tissue and wait a s ort period of time,
t is will loosen t e cerumen

Hold t e Receiver Unit/Receiver
Mould between your t umb and
index finger and carefully pull it out.
You may find it elpful to lig tly
pus your ear from t e back

Hold t e receiver wit t e Dome/
Receiver Mould between your
t umb and index finger and insert it
carefully into t e ear canal. You may
find it elpful to pull your ear
slig tly upward or to t e back

CAUTION
Attac t e Dome properly. If
t e Dome remains in t e ear,
ave it removed by your NHS
Audiologist.

C eaning
Cerumen (ear wax) on t e Domes,
Grid-Domes and Receiver Moulds
can affect sound quality.
Clean Domes, Grid-Domes and
Receiver Moulds rig t after taking
t e earing instrument off. T is way
cerumen can not dry and arden.
Grid-Domes are very flexible.
Take t e Grid-Dome off t e
Receiver Unit and squeeze t e
Grid-Dome to remove cerumen
from t e grid.
NOTICE
Domes, Grid-Domes and Receiver
Moulds are easily damaged w en
andled wrongly.
Never use brus es or s arp objects
for cleaning
Never use running water or
immerse t e earing instrument
Never use pressure or rotating
action w ile cleaning
Do not spray cerumen solvent
directly onto t e C-Grid
Do not pull t e receiver out of t e
