The system is not initialized or the ROM version is wrong. The version num-
ber of the HOST software and the parameters in the EEPROM do not match
(the first two places).
If, however, the software is present, then parameters are missing or the ver-
sion numbers of the HOST software or the parameters in the EEPROM do
not match.
The error will be displayed after the download routine. Repeat the download
routine.

error Incorrect checksum in the Flash EEPROMs. Download HOST software again.
1004 No access to clock Set the clock again and perform Reset. If the
error still exists, replace PC board D1.
1005 Clock is not initialized Set the clock again and perform Reset. If the
error still exists, replace PC board D1.
1009 Incorrect checksum
with block receipt Incorrect checksum when a block is received from the service PC/interface driver. The
problem is in the service PC or HOST. Inter-
ference during transmission.
100A Incorrect command
from Service PC Error in the data transmission between the service PC and the HOST. The service soft-
ware version and the boot software version
do not match. Compare with the compatibility
list in the logbook.
100B Incorrect block length
from Service PC Error in the data transmission between the service PC and the HOST. The service soft-
ware version and the boot software version
do not agree. Compare with the compatibility
list in the logbook.
100C Incorrect segment address
from Service PC Incorrect segment address from the service PC for writing on EPROM. Error in IDX file;
install the backup copy.
100D Parity error Error in the communication between the ser-
vice PC and the HOST. Hardware problem or
electromagnetic compatiblity (EMC) interfer-
ence.
If necessary, perform the transfer again.
100E Overrun error Receive buffer of the serial interface at the
service PC has been exceeded.
100F Framing error Error in the communication between the ser-
vice PC and the HOST.
Hardware problem or electromagnetic com-
patibility (EMC) interference.
If necessary, perform the transfer again.
1010 Break error Service PC was switched off before the serial
connection closed. This message is also dis-
played if hardware errors are present on
board D1.
1011 Timeout error
1012 Error: Switch S2.8
(D1) = On After three unsuccessful attempts to transfer, transmission between the HOST and the ser-
vice PC is terminated.
