10.1” Wireless Handheld Operating Panel HGW 1033
In combination with a BWH 001 base station and a PLC,
the HGW 1033 is a wireless, intelligent handheld operat-
ing unit that enables the programming, visualization and
diagnosis of processes and systems control.
Process data, procedures and parameters are comforta-
bly presented on the 10.1” display and can be entered or
changed via the touch screen.
The HGW 1033 can be coupled with machines via base
stations, which allows the flexible application of the oper-
ating unit.
The interfaces can be used to configure the terminal. The
integrated battery pack provides 2 hours of operation at
full capacity.
The HGW is availablein portrait and landscape for-
mat.

2.1 Symbols Used
The following symbols are used in the operator documentation for warning and danger mes-
sages, as well as informational notes:
DANGER
Identifies an immediate danger with high risk, which will lead to immediate
death or serious injury if not avoided.

WARNING
Identifies a possible danger with a mid-level risk, which can lead to death or

Identifies a low risk danger, which can lead to injury or property damage if
not avoided.
