8
The eos® Transfer Tray P7810 has two danger zones, one on the customer and one on the operator side,
which occur when the tray is moved in and out. The movement area of the tray must be clear before
operation.
INFO: If it is not possible to see the customer area directly, we recommend to install a mirror
that provides best possible view at the customer side at all time to ensure that the
moving area of the tray is clear before operating it.
In addition, we recommend installing warning lables indicating that no body parts
should be within the moving area of the tray when it is in motion.
ATTENTION! The interior of the eos® Transfer Tray P7810 contains intense UV radiation which is
dangerous to living beings. It is not allowed to pass living beings through the
transfer tray.
WARNING! DANGER from UV radiation.
The transfer tray operates with UV radiation, which is dangerous for living
beings.
Never look directly into the UV light.
Never open the flaps of the transfer tray during the cleaning process.
Always disconnect the power supply if the housing must be opened. Only
qualified personnel authorized by SITEC may perform repair and
maintenance work on the transfer tray.
UV-Lamps - Avoid direct view and
skin contact.
IMPORTANT! The eos® Transfer Tray P7810 has two security systems that help prevent both direct
view at the UV light and skin contact with UV radiation. A shutter system prevents UV
light from exiting when the tray is either on the customer or the operator side and the
transfer tray is open. An automatic shut-o system on the customer side turns o the
UV lamps if the flap on the customer side is accidentially opened by hand during the
cleaning porcess.

3. Performance description
The eos® Transfer Tray P7810 has been designed for hygienic handover of goods and objects, e.g.
medication in exchange for prescription in pharmacies.
The highly ecient UV lamps eliminate almost all viruses and bacteria from the surfaces of objects and
goods. The cleaned object can then be removed from the transfer tray without any health risk or danger
of infection.
3.1. General overview
3.2. Operating principle
A typical use case is the hygienic handover of medications in exchange for a prescription in pharma-
cies.
The operator pushes the button on the top of the eos® Transfer Tray P7810 to move the tray to the
customer side. The customer places his prescription into the tray.
By pressing the corresponding button on the transfer tray the tray with the prescription returns to
the center of the transfer tray where the cleaning process takes place. It takes only a few seconds,
then the tray drives automatically to the operator side.
The operator takes the cleaned prescription without danger of infection and gets the medication for
the customer. After placing it in the tray the corresponding button on top of the transfer tray is pus-
hed. The tray returns back to center position where the medication undergoes the cleaning process.
After a few seconds, the tray automatically drives to the customer, who benefits from the hygienic
handover procedure as well and takes the cleaned medication.
The handover process is finished.
3.3. Declaration of RoHS conformity and WEEE directive
Our company works around the world, and believes protecting the environment and natural resources
is our corporate obligation. SITEC has been marketing and producing RoHS conforming products for
many years, and the company views the introduction of RoHS guidelines as a confirmation of our
approach.
