Power on/off and views
Monitor-specific app settings are set via the qubeCLOUD. For this, the administrator or the
device manager of your organization must make the corresponding settings. For more
information, see the qubeCLOUD and qubeCONTROL manual.
Only the selection of the app language is
done in the local settings. Furthermore,
you will find the permission whether the
app is allowed to connect to the local
network here. This function must always
be activated so that the apps of the
qubeSERIE can communicate with each
other!
Start the qube
ZERO
- after you have started the app - via the blue "On/Off" button. Tap it once
to start. To shut down the system, press and hold the button for three seconds.
Depending on the default setting, the monitor starts in preclinical or clinical mode.

The following options are offered at qube
ZERO
:
1. 12-channel ECG writing
2. Blood pressure measurement
3. Set alarms / mute alarms

5. Choice between clinical and preclinical monitor
To print a 12-lead ECG, press the corresponding button (1). The information that an ECG has
been printed is shared on the controller. The media center opens on the monitor and the ECG
can be viewed.
If it has been selected in the App Settings that the media center does not open automatically
once an ECG print has been triggered, swipe from the right side to the center to open the
media center manually.
To close them, swipe from the center to the right.

If you press the "Blood pressure measurement" button (1), the blood pressure is measured. In
the lower area, a dialog box opens in which you can set whether and at what interval an
interval measurement should take place (2).
The alarm menu can be accessed by pressing the bell.
Here you can decide whether the alarm is switched on or off by activating and deactivating the
field. You set alarm limits via the sliders.
To mute the alarms, the crossed-out bell can be tapped.

d. Change views
You can switch between three different views by pressing the tile icon.
Use the button to the left of the blue on/off switch to toggle between Preclinical & Clinical
monitor views.

To start the AED, tap the "AED" button (1). Another window with information opens.

To start manual defibrillation, tap the "MAN" button (1). The window with further information
opens.
1. Enable/disable manual mode

7. Synchronized defibrillation on/off

6. pacer / pacer
To activate the pacer, tap the "Pacer" button (1). For the "Frequency" and "Current"
displays, corresponding values can be set using the +/- keys. If Pause is pressed, the pacer is
paused.

metronome
A metronome can be used to support the CPR frequency. This is called up by tapping the
"Metronome" button. You can now select different modes.
1. 30 / 2 (recommended ratio for adults)
2. 15 / 2 (recommended ratio for the child)
3. Continuous
4. OFF
If you are using our qubeCPR and have selected the CPR feedback pads as the derivation,
participants on the qubeZERO will receive feedback on their compression quality using bars
for pressure depth and text for frequency.
