INSTRUCTIONS
• Please keep all original packaging materials.
• By following these instructions carefully, you can open the
box and remove your item without damaging the packaging
materials.
• If your unit arrived with a wood frame around the box like in
the photo below, you will need a screwdriver or drill and a pry
bar to remove the screws and take apart the wood frame.
• Once the wood frame is off, the top and walls of the box can
come off in one big piece.
• It helps to have another person to lift the box off.
• Lift the top and walls of the box off the unit and put it to the
side.
• TEAM LIFT: Make sure to have at least two people to lift and
move the unit.
• See next page for lifting instructions.

Removing From The Box
• Do not lift from the head rest or foot rest areas.
• For this unit, it is best to lift with both hands on the wood sec-
tion underneath the cushions. It helps if the center column of
the base is in the center of your hands.
• Lift the unit with your partner and walk it out of the box.
• We recommend setting the unit on a furniture dolly or pallet
jack when and where it is practical to use one. Otherwise, you
can carry the unit to your desired location.
