Introduction
Certified with NHTSA 2013 BAIID Model Specification.
Prevent driver with blood alcohol concentration exceeding the set limit value to drive vehicle.
Fuel cell sensor (electrochemical sensor) for high accuracy.
LED indication for test result, message or condition, printing all indications on the back of product.
Option for camera to record driver photo, tested time, and BAC level.
Important Notes
Before testing, wait at least 15 minutes after eating or drinking.
Do not turn off vehicle during retest! Wait until test result is displayed before turning off vehicle.
The vehicle will be locked out permanently if service warning days expires.
If using below 40°F, device needs to wait for 60 second countdown before taking a test.
Do not disconnect the handheld device at any time.
Do not open the device and break the tamperproof sticker. If tamperproof sticker is broken a tamper violation will be
reported to the appropriate authorities.
Limit of breath alcohol concentration
Red flashing light (Blocking state): Above alcohol limit, short lockout active.
Red solid light (Blocking State): Above alcohol limit, long lockout active.
Green solid light (Unblocking state): Below alcohol limit.
Service Interval
60 days for service interval.
7 days for regular service warning, and then permanent lockout after warning days.
3 days for service warning Early Recall, and then permanent lockout after 3 warning days.
