Precautions Before Use
Warning
Please use this stove with only Snow Peak designated fuel
canisters. Please do not use any other type of fuel canister.
Snow Peak has designed specific fuel canister models for
use with this stove, so please refer to the Designated Feul
Canister list on the back of this page.

Reason
Other fuel canisters differ in such standards as valve
configulation and nozzle thickness, and the basic design
differences may result in gas leakage, leading to flash fires or
abnormal combustion. Snow Peak fuel canisters are adjusted for
maximum and appropriate with Snow Peak products.
Warning
Do not use the stove on hot beach sand, river rocks, or
paved road surface.
Beach sand, river rocks, and paved road surface
can reach extremely high temperatures as a result of exposure
to direct sunlight. Placing the stove in direct contact with one of
these surfaces for use will result in increased internal pressure,
and may cause abnormal combustion or explosion.
Reason
Warning
This is a detachable stove that was developed exclusively for
outdoor use. Please make sure NOT to use it inside buildings,
vehicles, or tents. Even when using it outdoors in narrow spacs,
make sure that there is sufficient ventilation.
Reason
This stove is designed exclusively for outdoor use.
It consumes a huge volume of oxygen during use. Even when
using it outdoors in narrow spaces there is a danger of death by
asphyxiation due to carbon dioxide poisoning or oxygen deficiency.
Warning
Before assembling, make sure to turn the
flame control clockwise until completely
shut.
Reason
The flame control valve may come
open during storage or transport, so when
attaching the fuel canister to the stove, check to
make sure that the flame control valve is completely
shut.
Warning
A new fuel canister is full all the way
to the top with liquid gas, so if it is tipped at an angle
when attaching it to the stove, the liquid gas may
gush out, giving rise to great danger. Always check
to make sure that there are no flammable items
in the immediate vicinity, and always hold the fuel
canister in an upright position when attaching it to
the stove. The threaded position of both the fuel
canister and the stove are extremely important.
If too much strength is exerted when screwing them
together, or if they are not screwed on straight, there
is danger of gas leakage.
When attaching the fuel canister, hold the stove in
an upright position, and take care to never screw
it down too tight.
Reason
Warning
Before each use of stove, check to make sure that the
threaded sections of the valve as well as O-ring gasket
are in normal condition and undamaged. If there is any
sign of under wear or damage, contact with the dealer
where you purchased the item or Snow Peak.
Reason
The O-ring suffers wear and tear when
mounting and detaching fuel canisters. Even a
non-rubber O-ring will deteriorate with time. Use of a
deteriorate or damaged O-ring may cause leakage of gas.
Warning
Shut
Keep combustible items no lower than 2 meters above the
atove and no closer than 1 meter around it, and use the
stove with heat-insulating material spread underneath it.
Reason The heat of the flame flows sideways
and/or downward, depending on the direction
of the wind. Since the heat of the flame is
transmitted upwards with great intensity, keep
combustible items at a sufficient distance to
avoid catching on fire. Also, since the heat
radiating from the pot also rises the temperature
of the surface underneath the stove, giving rise
to the danger of catching fire, always spread
heat-insulating material underneath the stove
when it is in use.

Warning
Warning
Never, under any circumstance,
use the stove to light charcoal.
Using the stove to light
charcoal will subject the stove itself, as
well as the fuel hose and the fuel
canister to abnormal heat. This is
extremely dengerous so do not use it in
this manner under any circumstance.
Reason
Do not use multiple stoves side by side with a single
cooking unit.
Reason If multiple stoves are used with large pots or a single
plate grill, the fuel canisters
will be subjected to
abnormal heat levels from
each other’s flames, giving
rise to the danger of
explosion as the abnormal
internal pressure of the fuel
canister increase.
Never surround the stove with a wind
screen or use stones or other devices
to increase the span of the pot support.
Reason
The use of wind screen or
stones will cause the heat to buid up in the
area around the fuel canister, cause it to
absorb an abnormal amount of heat. Placing a
pot on top of the stove burner acts like a lod,
further increasing heat built-up. This will cause
temperatures to rise to extremely high levels,
leding to danger of explosion.
Never use the stove near other heat
sources such as heaters or open fires.
Reason
Heat generated from heaters
or open fire will increase the heat, causing
the fuel canister to reach extremely high
temperatures and leading to an explosion.
Do not use the stove with plate grills,
gridirons, ceramic cookware or smokers.
The high heat radiating from pan,
plate grills, gridirons, ceramic cookware and
smokers subjects the fuel canister to abnormal
heat levels, giving rise to a danger of explosion
as the internal pressure of the fuel canister
increases.
Reason
Reason
Reason
Do not tilt, shake or transport the stove
while lit.
If the stove is tilted or shaken,
liquid gas gushes out, causing the flame to
suddenly increase in size, and giving rise to
the danger of burns.
Reason
Reason
Reason
Reason
Reason
Always use stove on a level, stable surface.
Never use the stove for any purpose
other than cooking.
If the stove is used on an
inclined or unstable surface, it may tip over,
potentially causing damage or injury.
Forcing the fuel hose to bend
may damage both it and its connector.
Do not force the fuel hose to bend.
Unwind the fuel hose, making certain
there are no twists or kinks, and leave
it attached to the stove and the fuel
canister when storing.
Precautions for Storage and Disposal
Warning
Warning
Warning
Warning
Always make certain that all the gas in the fuel canister
has been completely used before disposing of it, as any
remaining gas could cause an explosion. And always
throw fuel canisters away separate from other trash.
When the stove is not in use for a long period of time,
detach the fuel canister, store the stove in the case
provided for that purpose, and make sure to put the
cap on the fuel canister before storing it.
Reason
Reason
Reason
Reason
Reason
The fuel adjustment control
may open unexpectedly, allowing leakage
of gas. And any dust or debris that
becomes attached to the connecting
parts of either the stove or the fuel
canister could cause accidents.
Store fuel canisters in places
where the temperature is below
104 degrees Fahrenheit.
Store fuel canisters in places
where the temperature is below
104 degrees Fahrenheit.
The internal pressure of
fuel canisters rises with the ambient
temperature, so store them in a place
where the ambient temperature does
not exceed 104 degrees Fahrenheit
and where they are not exposed to
direct sunlight.
Never throw an empty fuel canister
into a fire or discard it near a source
of heat.
A small amount of gas remains
even in completely empty fuel canisters, so if
they are thrown into a fire or discarded near
other heat sources, they may explode as
their internal pressure rises.
Keep both the stove and fuel
canisters out of reach of
children.

Any dirt or debris could cause
clogging or rusting, raising the potential for
danger or accidents. Make sure that no such
problems exist for the next time you use the
stove.
Caution
