Thank you for choosing Solax S7101 electric folding wheelchair
Please read this manual carefully before use it. This manual will help you to know
better for this wheelchair. If you don’t understand this manual or you need any
help, please contact our dealers or call +86 0769-88918228 for assistance

This manual introduces function and characteristics of Solax electric folding
wheelchair including the instruction of each component, safety requirements,
precautions, emergency treatment and maintenance procedure.
The following identification will be running throughout this manual and each
caution needing special attention.
Note: fail to pay attention to this manual may cause damage of your wheelchair
and result in personal injury.
All information and pictures in this manual are based on the physical objects made
by manufacturer (see Figure *). The products will be improved continuously
without preliminary notice.
Solax electric folding wheelchair is through user to control speed, forward,
backward, turn left, right, folding and unfolding for scooter. The user must have
the following abilities:
- Ability of reading and understanding each instruction
- Ability of identifying and evaluating hazards
- Awareness of safety requirements and compliance with traffic regulations
This wheelchair shall not be used in the following conditions:
1. Sick or physically ill, especially those whose upper limbs are not healthy
2. Suffering from acute tumor
3. Suffering from heart disease
4. Pregnant or menstruating women
5. Children (under the age of 12)
6. Consult a physician before using if concern about their health
7. Consult a physician before using if people have heart rate with adjuster
8. Persons with impaired mobility or retardation
9. Unconsciousness, coma, poor circulation or severe skin sensitivity
As a whole, we believe Solax electric folding wheelchair will not only bring you comfort and
convenience, but also let you feel and enjoy the infinite happiness of life.

Safety Instruction:
1. Please do not drive on motorway.
2. Never drive after drinking alcohol
3. Do not install any mechanical or electronic devices to this wheelchair.
4. Do not travel at a slope greater than 15º.
5. Do not span trenches greater than 100mm.
6. Do not stride over steps at the height of more than 50mm.
7. Do not drive on iced or slippery ground.
After unpacking:
When you open the carton and remove the PE bag, you may follow instruction
below.

In front of wheelchair, there are
two packed boxes, one of which
is upper controller and the other
one is charger (see FIG. 1)
After take out the upper controller
and charger, you can follow
instruction in section 4.2.3 to open
the wheelchair manually. Then you
open and hold upper controller on
one hand, insert the round tube in
the quick release of the right/left
armrest tube (FIG. 2).

Put upper controller upward then
push quick release level and lock
into position (FIG. 3). If the lock
is not tight, please adjust the nut
on the other side of quick release.
Finally, put the wire of upper
controller into cable clamp
(see FIG. 4).

1、 This electric folding wheelchair is driven by two motors (left & right). User
only needs one hand to control wheelchair forward, backward, turn left and right.
And this wheelchair is rear wheel drive so people sitting on the chair will never
feel vertigo even when it is turning.
2、 There are three folding mode for this electric wheelchair.
A. Automatic remote folding.
B. Manual electric folding.
C. Manual folding.
3. The electric folding wheelchair folding features as
A. One click folding which means when you press the remote or a control button
underneath the seat, the wheelchair including the pedal will be folded
automatically, and vice versa.
B. Manual folding allows this wheelchair to fold up in a second (one action).
4. The wheelchair is small after folded. It is also easy to carry or move with a handle.
5. The weight of this electric wheelchair is 24.6Kg.
1. Product Feature
WARNING: when open the carton, please follow the instruction to take out
the two batteries,remove the insulating film on the batteries, put the batteries
in position before you use this wheel chair.

4.1 Upper controllers (see FIG. 8)
4.1.1 Battery indicator: green light means
full battery power, red light means out of
power and need to charge the battery.
4.1.2 Power switch: push to turn on the
power or turn off the power.
4.1.3 Horn: press then the horn sound,
release then the horn stop.
4.1.4 Speed indicator: press to increase
or slow down speed.
4.1.5 Joystick: to control going forward,
reverse, turn left and right.
4.1.6 Charger port: underneath the upper
controller. Charge immediately when
lack of battery power (see FIG. 9).
4.1.7 Quick release level: pull up to adjust
upper controller. Push to secure the
position of upper controller
(see FIG 10 & 11).

controller in a humid environment.
If the upper controller has been
damp, make sure it is completely
dry and then operate.

4.2.1 Automatic remote folding:
Switch toggle button to A then press
remote on button A, the wheelchair
begins to fold. Then release the thumb
until the wheelchair is completely
folded (See FIG. 12 & 13).
4.2 Folding mode
WARNING: If wheelchair no
reaction after press the remote,
check first the front and back
of wheelchair see if it is stuck
by obstructions. For safety
reason, this wheelchair can not
be folded or unfolded when any
object remained on the seat.
This is to protect someone
touches the remote when people
sitting on the seat. In that case,
just remove the object, press
remote reverse ‘A’ & ‘B’ then
wheelchair continue fold or unfold.

4.2.2 Manual electric folding:
WARNING: If wheelchair no reaction
when you press FOLD (fold) and
UNFOLD (unfold), please check and
see if the wheelchair is stuck by
obstructions.

Switch the toggle to M, press folding
key on the left side. Press FOLD (fold)
or UNFOLD (unfold) to start operating
the wheelchair see FIG 14 & 15.

4.2.3 Manual Folding
If you have problems in operating
the electric folding mode or in the
absence of battery, you can fold or
unfold the wheelchair manually.
You just need one hand to pull the
red switch underneath the seat and
the other hand grab backrest the
push to fold up backrest and seat
together (see FIG 16 & 17).

WARNING: If you follow instruction
and wheelchair still no reaction
please check if and see if the
wheelchair is stuck by obstructions.

When you unfold wheelchair, you need
one hand grabs the backrest tubing and
push downward. The other hand grabs
the back edge and lift up then you can
unfold the wheelchair (see FIG. 18).

WARNING: Please switch toggle to
‘N’ when riding the wheelchair
(see FIG. 19). By doing so, the
automatic remote folding and
manual electric folding can not be
activated even someone touch
remote unconsciously when riding
wheelchair.

When brake level is ENGAGE mode,
it is the drive mode. When brake level
switches to DISENGAGE mode, it is
free mode. Left and right is the same
(see FIG. 20).

controller in the socket of lower
controller before driving

The wheelchair has two 24V lithium
batteries and they can be interchanged.

1. Remove battery pack
Push the lock catch then you can pull
out the battery pack (see FIG. 23).
2. Install battery pack
Put battery pack into the slot and push
until you heard a sound that it is locked
in place (see FIG. 24).
WARNING: when you have problems
to install the battery, please make sure
you put the battery pack in the right
direction.

The footplate can be folded up to 90
degrees easy for user to get on and off
(see FIG. 25).

You can adjust back angle through the
following procedures.
Rotate screw ‘2’ inward and screw ‘1’
outward then back angle will enlarge,
and vice versa. Adjust back angle
according to the best position then
tighten the two screws (see FIG. 26).

When you fold up the wheelchair you can pull out the handle and carry it easily
(see FIG. 27 & 28).

This wheelchair equips with 2-24V / 7.5Ah lithium battery. These batteries have
long life cycle and use do with 24V / 2A charge.
5. Battery instructions
Ideally, first charge should be after battery is flat then charge in full
Charge in full before traveling
When charge the wheelchair, please check the adapter make sure it fits in local
voltage also with correct plug.
If you will not use this wheelchair for a long time, please cut off battery power.
The battery power switch is on the battery back.
After using battery for a period of time, you should check battery power promptly.
If you found battery power insufficient, you should charge the battery immediately.
5.1 How to charge battery
5.1.1 Make sure wheelchair is power off. Insert the charger plug to charging
port which is underneath the upper controller. Plug in the other end of wire to
in-house power socket then turn on the power switch. Red light means this
wheelchair is in charging mode. Orange means it starts charging. Light will
turn to green color once it is fully charged.

5.1.2 As long as battery is fully charged, unplug the AC plug and the DC
connecting plug then charging is complete;
5.1.3 Turn on the main power switch. If red light is not bright then check if power
plug has been plugged in, otherwise the fuse may already burn out;
5.1.4 Charging time is normally 6-8 hours.
WARNING: Protect your battery at freezing temperatures and no charge
toward frozen battery, otherwise, it will damage battery and cause personal.
WARNING: If wheelchair not being used a long time, battery cell may
become frozen. Please do not rush to charge when start re-use of wheelchair.
Leave battery a few days until it warns up then you can charge the battery.
6.1 Trouble shooting
6 Basic inspection
Check start key see if the light is bright
If the light of start key flashes, check if any poor contact in this wheelchair
Check and see if battery is fully charged (refer to the instruction in 5.1.3).
6.2 Trouble shooting
Battery may be aged.
Check battery pole see if it is corroded or loose;
Motor brush may be damaged (call for technical supports)

7.1 Cleaning
7 Maintenance
Control panel and shrouds are made of durable ABS. Don’t use oil or
chemical liquids to wipe wheelchair. Sharp brushes easily cause surface
scratches. Don’t rinse directly with faucet to prevent damage of electric
components. Only use damp clean rags to wipe appearance.

7.2 Maintenance
7.2.1 Maintenance for daily use
If you use wheelchair every day, check before use to see if any damage for
outlook.
There may be electric failure occasionally. In most situations, users can
eliminate by themselves. They are either battery not fully charged or
performance falls off due to aged conditions.
7.2.2 Maintenance for daily use
7.2.2.1 Battery Electrode Connection
Make sure battery electrode tightly connected with the electrode of
wheelchair and free from corrosion (monthly)
6.4 Not easy to fold or unfold
Check and see if there is any obstacle surrounding the wheelchair
Check if the folding mechanism is working.

Check all exposed screws and nuts. Make sure they are tightened without
loose (monthly)

They have been filled in with lubricating oil so no need to inject oil
(annually)
