Before using your Soleus Air personal heater, please read this owner’s manual carefully. Store this manual in a
safe place for future reference.
1. Rea ALL instructions before using this unit.
2. CAUTION: Risk of Electric Shock. DO NOT open or try to repair the heater yourself.
3. This heater is hot when in use. To avoi burns, DO NOT let bare skin touch hot surfaces. If provi e ,

4. Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, be ing, paper, clothes, an curtains at least 3

other objects on the heater.

PRODUCT DIAGRAM
Tip-O er Safety Switch
This heater is equippe with a tip-over safety switch locate un erneath the base of the heater. This switch
must be presse inwar for the heater to function properly. Some soft surfaces such as carpet may not be able
to fully press in this switch. For some soft surfaces, a har flat object will nee to be place un erneath the
heater for it to function properly. PLEASE DO NOT TAPE OR GLUE THIS SWITCH.

WARNING: This heater is for use on 120 volts. The
cor has a plug as shown in A. An a apter as shown in
C is available for connecting three-bla e groun ing-
type plugs to two-slot receptacles. The groun ing lug
exten ing from the a apter must be connecte to a
permanent groun such as a properly groun e outlet
box. The a apter shoul not be use if a three-slot
groun e receptacle is available.

ASSEMBLY
Remove the heater bo y, two base pieces, an fastening screw from the box. Remove the packaging
materials an keep for future storage.
Lay the heater bo y on a level surface. To assemble the base, insert the 6 roun pegs of base B into
the roun holes of base A until you hear a clicking noise. (Figure 1)
Pull the power cor through the hole at the center of the base, an align the base with the bottom of
the heater. The power cor shoul fit through the slot in the base. Screw on the fastener to finish as-
sembly. (Figure 2)

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Place the heater on a firm, level surface an plug into a groun e 115V 60Hz power outlet.
2. Press the ON/OFF button once to turn on the heater. The POWER in icator light will turn on. To shut the
heater off, press the ON/OFF button once more.
3. Press the H/L button to select the esire heat setting. The correspon ing in icator light will turn on.
LOW: heating up to 450W, HIGH: heating up to 900W
4. To operate the timer, press the TIMER button repeate ly to select the esire setting: 4H: 4 hours, 2H: 2
hours, 1H: 1 hour, 0.5H: 30 minutes. The heater will shut off automatically once the esire time perio
has expire .
5. To operate the oscillation function, press the SWING button. The correspon ing in icator light will turn on
an the unit will oscillate 80° to the left an right. Press the SWING button once more to turn the oscilla-
tion off. WARNING: Do not stop the oscillation function of the heater by force.
6. All functions can also be operate with the remote. (Image Below)

MAINTENANCE
1. Unplug the unit an let it cool completely.
2. To keep the heater clean, the outer shell may be cleane with a soft, amp cloth. You may use a mil
etergent if necessary. After cleaning, ry the unit with a soft cloth. CAUTION: DO NOT let liqui
enter the heater.
3. DO NOT use alcohol, gasoline, abrasive pow ers, furniture polish, or rough brushes to clean the
heater. This may cause amage or eterioration to the surface of the heater.
4. DO NOT immerse the heater in water.
5. Wait until the unit is completely ry before use.
STORAGE
Store the heater in a cool, ry location when not in use. Preferably, to prevent ust an irt buil -up, use the
ol packaging to repack the unit.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If the heater will not operate, please check the following before seeking repair of service:
HEATER W LL NOT WORK
1. Check if the power cor is plugge into an electrical outlet, if not, plug in.
2. Check if electricity to the main fuse is working.
3. Check if the heater is on HIGH or LOW by confirming that one of the correspon ing in icator lights is on.
If not, press the H/L button to turn on.
4. Check if the heater is on a firm, level surface. If the tip-over safety switch is not pushe in, the heater will
not run.
HEATER W LL NOT OSC LLATE
1. Check if the SWING in icator light is on. If not, press the SWING button to turn on oscillation.
2. Confirm that nothing is blocking the movement of the heater.

tail purchase in the Unite States.
If the unit exhibits a efect in normal use, Soleus International Inc. will, at its option, either repair or replace it, free of
charge within a reasonable time after the unit is returne uring the warranty perio .
As a con ition to any warranty service obligation, the consumer must present this Warranty Certificate along with a
copy of the original purchase invoice.
