Thank you for choosing a Soleus Air Ceramic Tower Heater. This owner’s manual will rovide
you with valuable information necessary for the ro er care and maintenance of your new
roduct. Please take a few moments to thoroughly read the instructions and familiarize
yourself with all the o erational as ects of your new heater.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
When using this electric unit, basic safety recautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury
to ersons, including the following:
1. Read ALL instructions before using this unit.
2. CAUTION: Risk of Electric Shock. DO NOT o en or try to re air the heater yourself.
3. This heater may get hot when in use. To avoid burns, DO NOT let bare skin touch hot surfaces. If rovided, use
handles when moving this heater.
4. Kee combustible materials, such as furniture, illows, bedding, a er, clothes, and curtains at least 3 ft from the front
of the heater and kee them away from the sides, to , and rear. DO NOT lace towels or other objects on the heater.
5. Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or the disabled, or when the heater is left
o erating and unattended.
6. DO NOT o erate any heater with a damaged cord or after the heater malfunctions, has been dro ed or damaged in
any manner. Return heater to authorized service facility for examination, electrical or mechanical adjustment, or
re air.
7. This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas and similar indoor locations. NEVER locate heater
where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container. To rotect against electrical hazards, DO NOT immerse in
water or other liquids.
8. DO NOT touch the control anel or lug with a wet hand.
9. DO NOT run cord under car eting. DO NOT cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange cord
away from traffic area and where it will not be tri ed over.
10. DO NOT insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust o ening as this may cause an electric shock
or fire, or damage the heater.
11. To revent a ossible fire, DO NOT block the air intakes or exhaust in any manner. DO NOT use on soft surfaces, like
a bed, where o enings may become blocked.
12. A heater has hot and arcing or s arking arts inside. DO NOT use in areas where gasoline, aint, ex losive and/or
flammable liquids are used or stored. Kee unit away from heated surfaces and o en flames.
13. Avoid the use of an extension cord because the extension cord may overheat and cause a risk of fire. However, if you
have to use an extension cord, the cord shall be No. 14 AWG minimum size and rated not less than 1875W.

14. To avoid fire or shock hazard, lug the unit directly into a 120 V AC electrical outlet.
15. To disconnect heater, turn controls to OFF, then remove lug from outlet. Pull firmly on the lug, DO NOT un lug by
ulling on the cord.
16. Always un lug the unit before moving or cleaning, or whenever the heater is not in use.
17. Use only for intended household use as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer
may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to ersons. The use of attachments not recommended or sold by unauthorized
dealers may cause hazards.
18. Always use on a dry, level surface. Use on floor only.
19. WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, DO NOT use this unit with any solid-state s eed control
device.
20. DO NOT attem t to re air or adjust any electrical or mechanical functions on this unit. Doing so will void your
warranty. The inside of the unit contains no user serviceable arts. Qualified ersonnel should erform all servicing
only.
21. Connect to ro erly grounded outlets only.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Place the heater on a firm, level surface and lug into a grounded 120V 60Hz ower outlet.
Only o erate the heater when it is in the u right osition.
Use the instructions below to o erate the heater using the control anel.
1. Turn the POWER SELECT dial (bottom dial) to the desired ower setting (High/Low/
Fan). When this switch is turned to the desired setting, the red POWER INDICATION
LIGHT will light u indicating there is ower to the unit.
2. This heater is able to run in LOW (750 Watts), High (1500 Watts), and Fan only mode.
Choose the desired mode based on your comfort level.
3. To activate the oscillation function, turn the OSCILLATION dial (to dial) to the swing
osition. Once the arrow on the dial is ointing to SWING, the heater will oscillate back
and forth to s read heat throughout the room.
Polarized Plug
Warning: This a liance has a olarized lug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the
risk of electric shock, this lug is intended to fit into a olarized outlet only one way. If the
lug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the lug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified
electrician. Do not attem t to modify the lug in any way.
DO NOT DEFEAT THE SAFETY PURPOSE OF THE POLARIZED PLUG.
Tip-Over Safety Switch
This heater equi ed with ti -over safety switch located underneath the base of the heater. This
switch must be ressed inward for the heater to function ro erly. Some soft surfaces such as
car et may not be able to fully ress in this switch. For some soft surfaces, a hard flat object
will need to be laced underneath the heater for it to function ro erly.
PLEASE DO NOT TAPE OR GLUE THIS SWITCH.

MAINTENANCE
WARNING: ALWAYS UNPLUG THE CORD BEFORE MOVING OR SERVICING.
CLEANING: IMPORTANT! DO NOT IMMERSE HEATER IN WATER! Clean the heater grills using the
vacuum brush attachment on your vacuum cleaner. This will remove lint and dirt from the inside of the heater.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO TAKE HEATER APART. Clean the body of heater with a soft cloth.
CAUTION: Do not use g soline, benzine, thinner, h rsh cle ners, etc. s they will d m ge the he ter.
NEVER USE ALCOHOL OR SOLVENTS.
SA ETY EATURES
1. A thermal overload rotector is built in to revent overheating.
2. When an overheat tem erature is reached, the heater will be automatically shut off. It can only resume
o eration when the user resets the unit. (See RESET INSTRUCTION below)
RESET INSTRUCTION
Un lug the heater and wait 10 minutes for the unit to cool down.
After the 10 minutes, lug the unit in again and o erate normally.
STORAGE
If the heater will not be used for a long eriod of time, store it in a cool, dry location when not in use. To
revent dust and dirt build-u , use the original ackaging to re ack the unit.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If your heater shuts off unex ectedly or fails to o erate, one of the above-mentioned safety features may have
activated to revent overheating.
1. Be sure the ower cord is lugged into a working electrical outlet.
2. Check your thermostat setting. The heater may be off because it has reached the desired tem erature
setting.

Soleus International Inc. warrants the accom anying Soleus Air HC7-15-01 Ceramic Tower Heater to be free of
defects in material and workmanshi for the a lications s ecified in its o eration instruction for a eriod of ONE (1)
year from the date of original retail urchase in the United States.
If the unit exhibits a defect in normal use, Soleus International Inc. will, at its o tion, either re air or re lace it, free of
charge within a reasonable time after the unit is returned during the warranty eriod.
As a condition to any warranty service obligation, the consumer must resent this Warranty Certificate along with a
co y of the original urchase invoice.
THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:
• Damage, accidental or otherwise, to the unit while in the ossession of a consumer not caused by a defect in
material or workmanshi .
• Damage caused by consumer misuse, tam ering, or failure to follow the care and s ecial handling rovisions
in the instructions. This includes dents, accidental or otherwise, to the base and head of the unit.
• Damage to the finish of the case, or other a earance arts caused by wear.
• Damage caused by re airs or alterations of the unit by anyone other than those authorized by Soleus
International Inc.
• Freight and Insurance cost for the warranty service.
ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANT ABILITY ARE LIMITED TO
ONE-YEAR DURATION OF THIS EXPRESS LIMITED WARRANTY. SOLEUS INTERNATIONAL INC.
DISCLAIMS ANY LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES AND IN NO EVENT
SHALL SOLEUS INTERNATIONAL INC’S LIABILITY EXCEED THE RETAIL VALUE OF THE UNIT FOR
BREACH OF ANY WRITTEN OR IMPLIED WARRANTY WITH RESPECT TO THIS UNIT.
This warranty covers only new roducts urchased from our authorized dealers or retailers. It does not cover used, sal-
vaged, or refurbished roducts.
As some states do not allow the limitation or exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, or do not allow
limitation on im lied warranties, the above limitations and exclusions may not a ly to you. This warranty gives you
s ecific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
