To Charge the Battery Pack See illustration B.
1 Set the mode change switch to CHARGE.
2 Connect the power cord to this unit.
3Connect the power cord to a wall outlet.
The beep sounds and the display window lights up.
4 Install the battery pack.
Charging begins. When the remaining battery indicator becomes
and the CHARGE lamp lights up, normal charge is completed. For full
charge, which allows you to use the battery slightly longer than “normal
charge”, leave the battery pack attached until the CHARGE lamp goes
out.
Remove the battery pack when required. It can be used even if the
charging is not completed.

1Place the battery pack on A.
Align the end of the battery pack having the vmark with the edge of
the terminal shutter of this unit.
Afolds down when the battery pack is placed on it.
2Slide the battery pack in the direction of the arrow.
Press the battery pack until the terminal shutter is completely
covered.

1Slide the battery pack along the guide to A.
2Press the battery pack down until it clicks.
Note
Do not apply shock to the charging polarity. When you install the battery
pack, be sure to not strike it.
Charging time
The following table shows the charging time for the battery pack which is
discharged completely.
•Approximate minutes to charge an empty battery pack fully (Full charge).
•Approximate minutes in parentheses indicate the time when you charge
normally (Normal charge).
•To ascertain the battery life, refer to the instruction manual of the video
equipment which you use.
•The charging time may differ depending on the condition of the battery
pack or the temperature of the environment.
Notes
•The time display shows the approximate time when charging at 10°C -
30°C. The time display may differ from the actual charging time
depending on using conditions and circumstances.
•The time display may show “– – – –” in the following cases. However, the
unit is not malfunctioning.
–The remaining battery time is less than 5 minutes.
–There is a difference between the displayed time and actual charging
time. Even if this happens, continue charging.
•Full charge requires about 1 hour after normal charge is completed. If you
remove the battery pack between normal charge and full charge, the
charging time may not be displayed properly in the next charging.
•If the charging time is not displayed properly, fully charge the battery
pack. The charging time will be displayed properly.
•When you attach a fully charged battery pack to this unit, “TIME TO CHG
FULL 1h” may appear on the display. However, the unit is not
malfunctioning.
•BATTERY LIFE may not be displayed depending on using conditions and
circumstances.
•You may wait for a while after pressing DISPLAY CHANGE until the
display shows the time indication.
To Operate Video Equipment
See illustration C.
For details of the connection, refer to the instruction manual of the video
equipment.
1 Set the mode change switch to VCR/CAMERA.
2Connect the power cord to a wall outlet.
3 Connect the connecting cord Bto the DC OUT connector of this
unit.
4Connect the connecting cord to the video equipment.
When using the connecting cord DK-415
(DCR-TRV130, etc.) (ill.C-1)
While pressing the connecting plate C, slide it down.
To remove the connecting plate, slide it up while pressing the battery
release lever D.
When using the connecting cord DK-215
(DCR-TRV900, etc.) (ill.C-2)
Open the cover, and insert the connecting plug E.
To remove the connecting plug, pull it out.
Notes
•If you set the mode change switch to CHARGE while operating the video
equipment, the power supply to the video equipment stops.
•You cannot charge the battery pack attached to this unit while supplying
the power to the video equipment.
•Keep this unit away from the video equipment if the picture is disturbed.
Notes
•When the mode change switch is set to VCR/CAMERA during charging,
charging stops.
•When a fully charged battery pack is installed, the CHARGE lamp will
once light, then go out.
•If the CHARGE lamp does not light or flash, check that the battery pack is
correctly attached to the AC adaptor/charger. If it is not attached it will
not be charged.
When the CHARGE lamp flashes
If a problem occurs during charging, the CHARGE lamp flashes and
WARNING appears on the display.
Check through the following chart.
To remove the battery pack

Slide the battery pack in the direction of the arrow, then lift is straight out.
NP-F100, etc. (ill. B-2)
Remove the battery pack while sliding the battery release lever.
To Check Charging
While charging, you can check the charging time on the display. After
starting charging in a minute, BATTERY LIFE lights up on the display.
Press DISPLAY CHANGE while charging.
Each time you press DISPLAY CHANGE, the display changes as follows.
Please contact your nearest Sony dealer in connection with the product
with the problem.
Remove the battery pack from this unit, then install the same battery
pack again.
If the CHARGE lamp flashes
again:
Install another battery pack.
If the CHARGE lamp lights and
does not flash again:
If the CHARGE lamp goes out
because the charging time has
passed, there is no problem.
If the CHARGE lamp flashes
again:
The problem is with this unit.

AC-V700A is a generic trademark (name) for both AC-V700 and connecting
cords.
Before operating the unit, please read this manual thoroughly and retain it
for future reference.
The AC-V700 AC adaptor/charger can be used as follows:
•To charge a lithium ion type battery pack. Ni-Cd/Ni-MH type batteries
are not rechargeable.
The following functions are available with the “InfoLITHIUM” battery
pack:
– Quickly charging
– Remaining charge time display
•To enable the power supply to the video equipment with the house
current, connection cords are included with this unit. However, these
cords may not be used depending on the video equipment. Before using,
check your video equipment.
What is the “InfoLITHIUM”
The “InfoLITHIUM” is a lithium ion battery pack which can exchange data
with compatible video equipment about its battery consumption. Sony
recommends that you use the “InfoLITHIUM” battery pack with video
equipment having the mark.
“InfoLITHIUM” is a trademark of Sony Corporation.

Refer servicing to qualified personnel only.
AC power cord must be changed only at the qualified service shop.

About the AC power cord plug
The AC-V700 comes in two models, differentiated by the shape of the AC
power cord plug.

•The model for USA and Canada: One blade of the plug is wider than the
other for the purpose of safety and will fit into the power outlet only one
way. If you are unable to insert the plug fully into the outlet, contact your
dealer.
About the remaining battery time
While charging the battery pack, this unit will show the remaining battery
time with your video equipment, etc. on the following conditions.
•Using the “InfoLITHIUM” battery pack
•Using the video equipment having the mark
Make sure that you use the battery pack having the mark.
Consult the operating instructions supplied with your video equipment if it
is applied to “InfoLITHIUM”.
Though the following models are applied to “InfoLITHIUM”, the
remaining battery time is not displayed on this unit.

If you use the video equipment having the mark, the remaining battery
time display of the battery pack being charged corresponds to the video equipment
having the mark which is last attached to the battery pack.
Charging
•Use only a lithium ion type battery pack. This unit cannot be used to
charge a Ni-Cd/Ni-MH type battery pack.
•Attach the battery pack firmly.
•Charge the battery pack on a flat surface without vibration.
Charging temperature
The temperature range for charging is 0°C to 40°C (32°F to 104°F).
However, to provide maximum battery efficiency, the recommended
temperature range when charging is 10°C to 30°C (50°F to 86°F).
Others
•The nameplate indicating operating voltage, power consumption, etc. is
located on the bottom.
•The negligible amount of electric current will flow into the AC adaptor/
charger as long as the AC adaptor/charger is plugged into the wall outlet.
•Unplug the unit from the wall outlet if it will not be used for extended
period of time. To disconnect the cord, pull it out by the plug. Never pull
the cord itself.
•Do not operate the unit with a damaged cord or if it has been dropped or
damaged.
•Be sure that nothing metallic comes into contact with the metal parts of
the unit or connecting plate. If it does, a short may occur and the unit
may be damaged.
•Always keep the metal contacts clean.
•Do not disassemble or convert the unit.
•Do not apply mechanical shock or drop the unit.
•While the unit is in use, it gets warm. But this is normal.
•Keep the unit away from AM receivers, because it will disturb AM
reception.
•Do not place the unit in a location where it is:
— Extremely hot or cold
— Dusty or dirty
— Very humid
— Vibrating
If any difficulty should arise, unplug the unit and contact your nearest Sony
dealer.

Si utiliza un equipo de vídeo que posea la marca , la

Carga
•Utilice solamente una batería de tipo de iones de litio. Esta unidad no
podrá utilizarse para cargar una batería de tipo níquel-cadmio (Ni-Cd)/
níquel-hidruro metálico (Ni-MH).
•Fije firmemente la batería.
•Cargue la batería sobre una superficie plana exenta de vibraciones.
Temperatura de carga
La gama de temperaturas para carga es de 0 a 40°C
Sin embargo, para obtener la máxima eficacia de la batería, la gama de
temperaturas recomendada para la carga es de 10 a 30°C

enchufe. No tire nunca del propio cable.
•No utilice la unidad con un cable dañado, cuando se haya caído, ni
cuando esté dañada.
•Cerciórese de que ningún objeto metálico entre en contacto con las partes
metálicas de la unidad ni de la placa conectora. En caso contrario podría
producirse un cortocircuito y la unidad se dañaría.
•Mantenga siempre limpios los contactos metálicos.
•No desarme ni modifique la unidad.
•No golpee ni deje caer la unidad.
•Cuando utilice la unidad, se calentará. Sin embargo, esto es normal.
•Mantenga la unidad alejada de receptores de AM, porque podría
perturbarse la recepción de AM.
•No coloque la unidad en un lugar:

Para cargar la batería Consulte la ilustración B.
1Ponga el selector de modo en CHARGE.
2Conecte el cable de alimentación a esta unidad.
3Conecte el cable de alimentación a un tomacorriente.
Sonará un pitido y se encenderá el visualizador.
4Instale la batería.
Se iniciará la carga. Cuando el indicador de batería restante pase a ser
, y se encienda la lámpara CHARGE, habrá finalizado la carga
normal. Para realizar la carga completa, que le permitirá utilizar la
batería algo más que con la “carga normal”, deje la batería instalada en
la unidad hasta que se apague la lámpara CHARGE.
Extraiga la batería cuando lo requiera. Podrá utilizarse incluso aunque
no se haya completado la carga.

1Sitúe la batería sobre A.
Alinee el extremo de la batería que contiene la marca vcon el borde
del obturador de terminales de esta unidad.
Ase pliega al situar la batería sobre dicho punto.
2Deslice la batería en el sentido de la flecha.
Presione la batería hasta cubrir el obturador de terminales por
completo.

1Deslice la batería a lo largo de guía hasta A.
2Presione la batería hacia abajo hasta que se oiga un clic.
Nota
No golpee la polaridad de carga. Asimismo, asegúrese de no golpear la
batería al instalarla.
Tiempo de carga
En la tabla siguiente se muestra el tiempo de carga para una batería
completamente descargada.
•Minutos aproximados para cargar completamente una batería vacía
(carga completa).
•Los minutos aproximados entre paréntesis indican el tiempo cuando la
cargue normalmente (carga normal).
•Para asegurar la duración útil de la batería, consulte el manual de
instrucciones del equipo de vídeo utilizado.
•El tiempo de carga puede diferir dependiendo de la condición de la
batería o de la temperatura ambiental.

•Si pone el selector de modo en VCR/CAMERA durante la carga, ésta se parará.
•Cuando instale una batería completamente cargada, la lámpara CHARGE
parpadeará una vez y después se apagará.
•Si la lámpara CHARGE no se enciende o parpadea, compruebe si la
batería está correctamente instalada en el adaptador de ca/cargador. Si
no está bien instalada, no se cargará.

La visualización del tiempo puede diferir del tiempo de carga real

–El tiempo de batería restante es inferior a 5 min
–Existe una diferencia entre el tiempo visualizado y el tiempo de carga
real. Aunque suceda esto, continúe cargando.
•La carga completa requerirá aproximadamente 1 h después de haber
finalizado la carga normal. Si extrae la batería entre la carga normal y la
carga completa, es posible que el tiempo de carga no se visualice
adecuadamente en la próxima carga.
•Si el tiempo de carga no se visualiza adecuadamente, cargue completamente
la batería. El tiempo de carga se visualizará apropiadamente.
•Cuando instale una batería completamente cargada en esta unidad, en el
visualizador puede aparecer “TIME TO CHG FULL 1h”
Sin embargo, esto no significa que la unidad está funcionando mal.

La recharge commence. Quand l’indicateur de capacité de la batterie est

terminée. Pour une recharge complète qui vous permettra d’utiliser plus
longtemps l’appareil vidéo, laissez la batterie rechargeable en place
jusqu’à ce que le témoin CHARGE s’éteigne.
Enlevez la batterie rechargeable quand nécessaire. Elle peut être utilisée
même si elle n’est pas complètement rechargée.

Recharge
•N’utilisez que des batteries au lithium-ion avec l’adaptateur. L’adaptateur
ne peut pas être utilisé pour charger une batterie au Ni-Cd/Ni-MH.
•Fixez bien la batterie.
•Chargez la batterie sur une surface plane et sans vibrations.
Température de recharge
La batterie peut être rechargée à une température comprise entre 0°C et
40°C (32°F et 104°F). Cependant, pour que son efficacité soit optimale, il
est conseillé de la recharger entre 10°C et 30°C (50°F et 86°F).
Divers
•La plaque signalétique indiquant la tension de fonctionnement, la
consommation électrique et d’autres informations électriques se trouve
sous l’appareil.
•Une quantité négligeable d’électricité circule dans l’appareil s’il reste
branché sur la prise murale.
•Débranchez l’appareil de la prise murale si vous n’avez pas l’intention de
l’utiliser pendant un certain temps. Pour débrancher le cordon secteur,
tirez sur la fiche. Ne tirez jamais sur le cordon.
•N’utilisez pas l’appareil lorsque le cordon est endommagé, ou si
l’adaptateur est tombé ou a été endommagé.
•Evitez que des objets métalliques ne touchent les parties métalliques de
l’appareil ou de la plaque de connexion. Un court-circuit pourrait se
produire et endommager l’appareil.
•Veillez à ce que les contacts soient toujours propres.
•Ne pas démonter ni modifier l’appareil.
•Ne pas appliquer de chocs mécaniques à l’appareil ni le laisser tomber.
•Quand l’appareil est utilisé, il devient chaud. C’est tout à fait normal.
•Ne pas laisser l’appareil près d’un récepteur AM, car il perturbera la
réception AM.
•Ne pas entreposer l’appareil dans les endroits suivants:
— extrêmement chauds ou froids
— poussiéreux ou sales
— très humides
— exposés à des vibrations.

•L’afficheur indique un temps approximatif quand la batterie est rechargée
entre 10°C et 30°C. Selon les conditions d’utilisation et les circonstances, le

•Si le temps de recharge n’est pas indiqué correctement, rechargez
complètement la batterie. Il sera alors indiqué correctement.
•Quand vous raccordez une batterie complètement rechargée à cet
l’appareil, “TIME TO CHG FULL 1h”peut apparaître sur l’afficheur. Il ne
s’agit pas d’un mauvais fonctionnement.
•BATTERY LIFE peut ne pas apparaître dans certains cas.
•Il faut attendre un certain temps après une pression de DISPLAY
CHANGE pour que le temps apparaisse.

•Quand vous insérez une batterie pleine dans l’adaptateur, le témoin

注
•当方式改变开关在充电中被设定于 VCR/CAMERA 位置时，充电停止。
•当安装了完全充电的充电池组时，CHARGE 灯将点亮一下，然后熄灭。

CHARGE 灯闪烁时
如果在充电中出现问题，CHARGE 灯将闪烁，而且 WARNING 出现在显示

卸下充电池组时

按箭头方向推动充电池组，然后直着取出。
NP-F100 等（图 B-2）
推动电池释放杆的同时卸下充电池组。
检查充电
在充电中，您可以检查显示窗上的充电时间。开始充电后，显示窗上的
BATTERY LIFE 指示即刻点亮。
充电中按 DISPLAY CHANGE 键。
每按一下 DISPLAY CHANGE 键，显示改变如下。
AC-V700A是AC-V700和连接导线的一般商标（名称）。

何谓“InfoLITHIUM”
“InfoLITHIUM”是一种锂离子充电池组，它可与兼容的视频装置交换其电池
消耗状况的数据。Sony 建议您使用 “InfoLITHIUM”充电池组来操作带

警告

关于交流电源线插头

书。

如果使用带有 标志的视频装置，正在充电的充电池组的电池剩余时间显
示与最后安装到充电池组上的带有 标志的视频装置相对应。
充电
•限使用锂离子型充电池组。本机不能用于给镍镉／镍氢（Ni-Cd／Ni-MH）
型电池组充电。
•将充电池组安装牢靠。
•在无振动的平坦表面上对充电池组进行充电。
充电温度
充电的温度范围为 0℃至 40℃。
但是，为了发挥电池的最大效率，最好在 10℃至 30℃的温度范围中进行
充电。
其他
•指示工作电压，功耗等的铭牌位于底部。
•只要交流转接器／充电器还插在墙壁插座上，就有微量电流流过交流转接器
／充电器。
•如果长时间不使用本装置，请将其从墙壁插座上拔下。拔下电源线时，请拿
着插头拔，切勿拉扯电源线。
•切勿在有电线破损或本装置被摔落，受损坏的情况下使用本装置。
•切勿将金属物品与本装置的金属部分或连接板接触，否则可能发生短路而损
坏本装置。
•请始终保持金属接触点清洁。
•请勿拆解或改装本装置。
•请勿使本装置受机械冲击或将其摔落。
•本装置在使用中会发热，这并非故障。
•请将本装置远离调幅收音机放置，否则它将影响调幅接收。
•请勿将本装置放置于以下场所：
— 极热或极冷
— 多尘或肮脏
— 极潮湿
— 有振动
