you connect an outdoor antenna or a cable TV system
to get better picture quality

If you use an amplifier with Dolby Pro Logic decoder
instead of the projection TV’audio system, you can still

Connecting a Sony SAVA series speaker system
Ifyou have a Sony SAVA series speaker system, connect
your speakers to the AUDIO {VAR/FDO OUT jacks (or
MONTIOR OUT jacks) on the rear ofthe projection TV
with the audio cable supplied with the speakers. You
can take advantage of the speakers’ Dolby Pro Logic
surround system and super woofer mode, and contol
them with the supplied remole control. When

Insert two size AA (R6) bateries (supplied) by
matching the + and —on the battery to thediagram
inside the battery compartnent.

* Under normal conditions, batteries will last up to six month

the batteries nay be worn out. When replacing batteries,
replace both of them with newones.

the projection TV
automatically
(AUTO SET UP)
‘You can set up your projection TV easily by using the
AUTOSET UP feature. It presets all the recevable
‘channels, adjus's the convergence and changes the on-
seen menu language. To setup the projecton TV
nanually, see “Adjusting convergence” (page 19),
“Betting cable TV on or off” (page 20), “Presetting
cuannels” (page 21) and “Changing the mena
language’ (pepe 2)

three layers (red, green ard blue). If they do not
‘converge, the color is poor and the picture blurs. To
correct this, adjust convergence.
