On safety
ˎShould any solid object or liquid fall into the
subwoofer, unplug the subwoofer and have
it checked by qualified personnel before
operating it any further.
ˎDo not climb on the subwoofer, as you may
fall down and injure yourself, or subwoofer
damage may result.
ˎBefore operating the subwoofer, check that
the operating voltage is identical to your
local power supply.
ˎIf you are not going to use the subwoofer
for a long time, be sure to disconnect the
subwoofer from the wall outlet (mains). To
disconnect the AC power cord (mains lead),
grasp the plug itself; never pull the cord.
ˎAC power cord (mains lead) must be
changed only at the qualified service shop.
On placement
ˎPlace the subwoofer in a location with
adequate ventilation to prevent heat
buildup and prolong the life of the
subwoofer.
ˎDo not place the subwoofer near heat
sources, or in a place subject to direct
sunlight, excessive dust, or mechanical
shock.
ˎUse caution when placing the subwoofer
on surfaces that have been specially treated
(with wax, oil, polish, etc.) as staining or
discoloration of the surface may result.
ˎTake care to avoid any possible injury on
the corners of the subwoofer.
ˎPlease keep the back panel (a side with the
switch) away from the wall more than 5cm.
Prevent something like cloth from blocking
up the ventilation slit.

On operation
Before connecting other equipment, be sure
to turn off and unplug the subwoofer.
On cleaning
Clean the subwoofer with a soft dry cloth. Do
not use any type of abrasive pad, scouring
powder or solvent such as alcohol or benzine.
If you have any question or problem
concerning your subwoofer, please consult
your nearest Sony dealer.

1 Connect the audio cable

2 Connect the other end of
the audio cable to the
AUDIO OUT /ijack of
the TV.
3 Connect the Wireless
Transceiver to a USB port
of the TV.

The wireless transceiver may interfere with
other terminals on TV physically, depending
on the position of USB terminal you
connected.
4 Connect the AC power
cord (mains lead) from the
subwoofer to the AC
power outlet.

It is recommended that the Subwoofer is
placed as close as possible to the TV.

green when the TV is

Using the subwoofer
About the power state
The subwoofer will automatically turn
on when you turn on the TV.
The subwoofer will automatically enter
standby mode and the "/1indicator
lights in red, when the TV is in standby
mode.
You can also set the subwoofer to
standby mode using the TV’s menu,
while the TV is on.
You can also turn off the subwoofer
using "/1button on the subwoofer. The
"/1 indicator will not light up when the
subwoofer is turned off.
About the sound
adjustment
You can adjust the subwoofer level ,
cut-off frequency and phase using TV’s
menu.
Refer to the TV’s instruction manual.

Activating wireless
transmission
between specific
units
You can specify the wireless connection
used to link the Wireless Transceiver to
the subwoofer using the Secure Link
function.
This function is useful when you use
multiple wireless products.
1 Press the SECURE button
on the Wireless Transceiver
(the LED indicator lights
and flashes amber).

3 Both LEDs light in solid
turns into amber, and the
subwoofer will create bass
sound. To cancel this
operation, press the
button again.
Proceed the step 2 within 2
minutes.
Cancelling the Secure
Link function
Press and hold SECURE button on the
Wireless Transceiver for several seconds
until the LED indicator turns off.

If the LED indicator on the Subwoofer is
still blinking amber, press and hold SECURE
button on the rear of the subwoofer for
several seconds until the "/1indicator turns
green or flashes in green.

Information
Troubleshooting
If you experience any of the following
difficulties while using the system, use
this troubleshooting guide to help
remedy the problem before requesting
support. Should any problem persist,
consult your nearest Sony dealer. When
bringing the system in for repairs, be
sure to bring in the entire system. This
product is a system product, and the
entire system is needed to determine
the part requiring repair.
No TV sound is output from the
subwoofer.
ˎCheck the connection of the audio
cable that is connected to the wireless
transceiver and the TV.
ˎCheck the sound output of the TV. When
sound does not come out, confirm the
sound output settings of the TV and the
volume of the TV speaker.

ˎCheck the status of "/1indicator on the
subwoofer.
ˎTurns off:
- Check that the AC power cord (mains
lead) of the subwoofer is securely
connected.
- Turn the subwoofer on by pressing
"/1button on the subwoofer.
ˎStays lit in red
- Check the location of the subwoofer.
- Do not place the TV and subwoofer
in a metal cabinet.
- Move the subwoofer closer to the TV.
- Make sure that the wireless
transceiver is inserted correctly into
the TV.
- Please confirm that the power
setting of Wireless Subwoofer ofTV
is set to Auto.
ˎFlashes in green or amber slowly or
turns red:
- Repeat the Secure Link setting.
- Sound transmission is poor.
Move the subwoofer closer to the TV
so the power indicator turns green
or amber.
ˎFlashes in red:
- Press power to turn off the
subwoofer, and check that nothing
is blocking the ventilation slit of the
subwoofer. A protection function
may engage from excessive input
signal level. Please lower the TV
volume or the subwoofer level.
Noise is heard from the
subwoofer or sound from the
subwoofer is intermittent.
ˎMove the subwoofer closer to the TV.
ˎDo not install the TV and subwoofer in
a closed rack, on a metal rack, or under
a table.
ˎMove the subwoofer away from other
wireless devices.
ˎAvoid using any other wireless devices.
The sound output from the
subwoofer is very low.
ˎCheck the subwoofer level in the sound
setting of the TV.
ˎWith some types of content such as news
there will not be a lot of bass sound, this
is normal.

Sử dụng an toàn

Lắp đặt

nhiệt, hoặc phơi trực tiếp dưới ánh nắng

ˎCẩn thận khi đặt loa siêu trầm lên trên bề
mặt được xử lý đặc biệt (như bề mặt có sáp,
dầu, đánh bóng, v.v.) vì có thể làm biến màu
trên bề mặt.
ˎCẩn thận tránh gây tác động lên các góc
của loa siêu trầm.
ˎXin vui lòng để nắp đậy đằng sau (gần bảng
điện) cách tường trên 5 cm. Không đặt các

Vệ sinh
Vệ sinh loa siêu trầm bằng miếng vải khô

hoặc benzen.
