MEDIDAS DE SEGURIDAD

Para reducir el riesgo de incendio, sacudida eléctrica
y lesiones, siga las medidas de seguridad básicas antes
de utilizar este equipo.
1. Lea las instrucciones con detenimiento.
2. Siga las advertencias e instrucciones que aparecen
en la unidad.
3. Limpie el teléfono con un trapo seco (nunca con
aerosoles ni limpiadores corrosivos). Si lo limpia con
un trapo húmedo, antes desconecte el teléfono de
la línea.
4. No utilice este equipo en un lugar cerca del agua.
Por ejemplo, cerca del fregadero de la cocina, la
bañera, un cubo de agua, una piscina o lugar húmedo.
5. Instale el teléfono en un lugar protegido. Asegúrese
de que los cables no estén en un lugar transitado
para evitar tropiezos.
6. Evite la caída de cualquier líquido en la unidad. Esto
podría producir un cortocircuito interno, fuego o una
descarga eléctrica, que no están cubiertos por la
garantía.
7. Nunca introduzca ningún tipo de objeto en el teléfono
ya que pueden entran en contacto con algún
componente que transmita corriente y por tanto
ocasionaría fuego o sacudad eléctrica.
8 Lleve el teléfono a un Servicio Técnico autorizado
cuando necesite ser reparado o revisado. Nunca
desmonte el teléfono, ya que invalidaría la garantía
del mismo.
9. Evite utilizar el teléfono durante una tormenta eléctrica.
Existe el riesgo de que se produzca una descarga
eléctrica a consecuencia de los rayos.
10. No utilice el teléfono para dar parte de una fuga de
gas si se encuentra cerca de la misma.
11. Desconecte el teléfono y recurra al personal
cualificado cuando se produzca alguna de las
siguientes situaciones:
- Cuando entre líquido en la unidad.
- Cuando ha quedado expuesta a la lluvia o agua.
- Cuando no funciona correctamente tras seguir
las instrucciones de funcionamiento.
- Cuando se haya caído al suelo o la carcasa esté
estropeada.
- Cuando la unidad funciona diferente a como
debiera.

1. Conecte un extremo del cable rizado al conector situado en el auricular (véase Diagrama de teclas en página
5, señalado como 2. )
2. Conecte el otro extremo del cable rizado en el conector situado en la base del teléfono (véase Diagrama de
teclas en página 5, señalado como 6. )
3. Conecte un extremo del cable de línea a la roseta de línea situada en la pared.
4. Conecte el otro extremo del cable de línea en el conector situado en la base del teléfono (véase Diagrama de
teclas en página 5, señalado como 17. )
5. En este momento, al descolgar el auricular del teléfono, debería tener línea y podrá realizar/recibir llamadas.
Montaje en pared
Este teléfono permite la colocación en la pared. Para ello, utilice la plantilla de montaje en pared del anexo A de
este manual.
Para que el auricular no se caiga cuando instalemos el teléfono en la pared, deberá extraer la pestaña de montaje
en pared (véase Diagrama de teclas en página 5, señalado como 5. ). Utilice un clip de papel para la extracción,
con la parte curva para no arañar el teléfono. Una vez extraída, rótela 180º e reinsértela en el mismo lugar.

Selección del modo de marcación
Para poder llevar a cabo llamadas correctamente, es necesario ajustar el modo de marcación. El teléfono permite
realizar la marcación mediante tonos multifrecuencia o mediante pulsos (marcación decádica). El modo de marcación
depende del operador de la línea telefónica o de la centralita en la que hayamos conectado el Spiker PH539.
Infórmese con su proveedor de servicios del tipo de maración que necesita.
Para ajustar el modo de marcación, utilice el interruptor situado en la unidad base marcado como 15 en el Diagrama
de teclas de la página 5 de este manual.
Control del volumen de timbre
El Spiker PH539 permite variar el nivel de volumen de timbre de las llamadas entrantes. Para ello disponemos de
un interruptor (marcado como 16 en el diagrama de teclas de la página 5 de este manual) que nos permite seleccionar
entre 3 niveles de volumen: alto ( ), medio ( ) y bajo ( ).
Realizar y contestar llamadas
Para realizar una llamada, simplemente descuelgue el auricular y asegúrese de que tiene tono de línea. A continuación,
marque el número de teléfono utilizando el teclado numérico y espere a que la persona a la que llama le conteste
al teléfono. Para finalizar la llamada, cuelgue el auricular.
Para atender una llamada, simplemente descuelgue el auricular cuando le suene el teléfono. Para finalizar la
llamada, cuelgue el auricular.

Programación de las memorias
El Spiker PH539 tiene 10 memorias donde podrá almacenar los números que use más frecuentemente. Esos
números se grabarán en bancos de memoria (del 0 al 9).
El siguiente ejemplo muestra como grabar el número "902400125" en el banco de memoria "1".
1. Descuelgue el auricular.
2. Pulse la tecla
3. Teclee el número a grabar, en este caso el 902400125. Se pueden introducir hasta 16 dígitos.
4. Pulse la tecla y a continuación la tecla 1 (el banco de memoria "1").
5. Cuelgue el auricular.
6. Si lo desea, puede anotar los detalles del número en la tarjeta de memorias.
Para programar más memorias, siga el mismo procedimiento accediendo a los bancos de memoria libres.
Llamar a un número grabado en memoria
Para acceder a un número grabado en memoria:
1. Descuelgue el auricular.
2. Pulse la tecla seguido del banco de memoria donde guardó el número deseado. El número se marcará
automáticamente.

Rellamada al último número
Si desea volver a llamar al último número marcado, simplemente descuelgue el auricular y espere a tener tono de
línea. A continuación, pulse la tecla y el número se marcará automáticamente.
Esta función es de gran utilidad cuando el número al que llama esté comunicando y deba hacer varios intentos
hasta poder establer la comunicación.
Tecla R
Si tiene contratado el servicio de llamada en espera con el operador de servicios de telefonía, podrá recibir una
segunda llamada mientras mantiene una conversación. En ese caso, escuchará un tono para indicarle que tiene
una segunda llamada y podrá aceptar la nueva pulsando la tecla R y a continuación la tecla 2. En este caso, la
primera llamada quedará en espera y podrá hablar con la segunda.
Para volver a la primera conversación y retener la segunda llamada, pulse la tecla R y a continuación la tecla 1.
Para cambiar a la segunda conversación pulse R y a continuación la tecla 2.
Para realizar una conferencia a 3, puede pulsar la tecla R y a continuación la tecla 3. Automáticamente, las dos
llamadas que tenía en marcha se unirán y podrán hablar simultaneamente los tres.
Si el Spiker PH539 está instalado en una centralita, podrá transferir llamadas pulsando la tecla R y a continuación
pulsando el número de extensión al que desea transferir una llamada.

Limpieza del producto

INSTALLATION AND START UP
1. Connect one end of handset coil cord to the handset jack (please, refer to the Key Diagram on page 15, marked
as 2. )
2. Connect the other end of the coil cord to the jack on the base unit (please, refer to the Key Diagram on page 15,
marked as 6. )
3. Connect one end of the line cord to the all oulet .
4. Connect the other end of the line cord to the jack on the base unit (please, refer to the Key Diagram on page
15, marked as 17. )
5. At this moment, once you lift the handset from the cradle, you should have dial tone and you ill be able to
make/receive calls.
Wall mounting
This telephone set can be mounted on all. Please, use the all mounting pattern from the Annex A of this manual.
To prevent the handset from falling, take the handset guide out (please, refer to the Key Diagram on page 15, marked
as 5). You can use the curve area of a paper clip to take it out, to avoid scratching the unit. Once you have taken
this piece out, rotate it 180º and then reinsert it in the original place.

OPERATION
Dialling mode selection
Select tone or pulse mode by using the slide s itch maked as 15 on the Key Diagram on page 15. Tone or pulse
dialling is governed by your local Telephone Exchange. Contact your local Telephone office if you need help.
Ringer volume control
The Spiker PH539 allo s you to adjust the ringer volume for incoming calls in three levels. To set the ringer volume,
use the slide s itch maked as 16 in the key diagram on page 15. We have three levels: high ( ), medium ( ) and
lo ( ).
Make and answer calls
To make a call, just lift the handset from the candle and check if you have dialling tone. Then, dial the telephone
number using the keypad and ait for the other party. To end a call, just put back the handset on the cradle.
To ans er an incoming call, just lift the handset from the cradle hile the phone is ringing.To end a call, just put
back the handset on the cradle.

OPERATION
Memory programming
El Spiker PH539 has 10 memory locations (0 to 9) for storing frequently used phone numbers. The follo ing example
sho s you ho to store the phone number "902400125" into memory location "1".
1. Lift the handset from the cradle.
2. Press the button.
3. Dial the number you ant to store, 902400125 in this case. You can store up to 16 digits.
4. Press the button and then press the 1 key (the location "1").
5. Replace the handset.
6. If you ish, you can note details do n on the directory card.
To store more memories, follo the same procedure using the free memory locations.
Call to a number in memory
To call to a number stored in memory:
1. Lift the handset from the cradle.
2. Press the button and then the memory location here the number is stored. The number ill be dialled out.

Last number redial
If you ish to call the last number dialed, obtain dial tone by lifting up the handset and then press the .
This is an interesting function hen the dialed number is busy all the time. Then, you can repeat the procedure until
you get the line through.
Flash time
If you have subscribed the call aiting service from your local phone company, you ill be able to receive a second
call hile you are processing a conversation. In this case, you ill hear a beep tone to advise you have a second
call. You can accept the second call by pressing the R button and then the 2 key. In this case, the first call ill be
hold and you can talk to the second.
To resume the first conversation and hold the second one, press the R button and then the 1 key. To s itch again
to the second call, press R and then 2.
To make a 3 party conference, you can press the R button and then the 3 key. After that, both calls and you ill
be connected and you ill be able to talk simultaneously.
If you have connected your Spiker PH539 in a PABX system, you can transfer a call by pressing the R button and
then dialling the number of the extension here you ant to transfer the call.

MAINTENANCE
Cleaning the product
1. Do not expose this product to dust, strong sunlight, humidity, high temperature or mechanical shock.
2. Do not use corrosive or abrasive cleansers on this product. Keep the unit dust free by iping it ith
a soft, dry cloth.
3. Do not disassemble this product, it contains no user-serviceable parts.
4. In case of a thunderstorm, it is advised to disconnect the unit, as product arranty does not cover
damage caused by lightning/serge.
