SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS1.
Incorrect maintenance and/or use may cause serious harm to people and damage the device.•
The device can only be used for the purpose for which it has been designed.•
The manufacturer does not take any responsibility for damages caused by improper maintenance or use of the device.•
When in use, secure the device and its electrical plug from any contact with water or other uids. In case the device is •
accidentally dropped into water the electrical plug should be immediately removed from the socket and the device should
be inspected by a trained professional.
Failure to obey these instructions may cause life threatening danger.
Never open the casing of the device on your own.•
Do not stick any objects into the casing of the device.•
Do not touch the electrical plug with wet hands.•
Check the condition of the electrical plug and cord regularly. In case any damage to the plug or cord is discovered order•
repair by a specialized service provider.
In case the device is dropped or damaged otherwise, before further use always order a check-up and repair by a specialized•
service provider.
Do not make any attempts to repair the device on your own – this may cause life threatening danger.•
Protect the electrical cord from contact with sharp or hot objects and keep it away from open re. When you disconnect •
the device from the electrical socket always hold the plug and never pull the electrical cord.
Secure the electrical cord (or the extension cord), so that it is not unplugged by mistake and so that no one can stumble•
over it.
Monitor functioning of the device while in use.•
Use of the device by people underage, physically or mentally incapable, with motion disorders as well as people without•
proper experience and knowledge regarding the use of this device should not be allowed. All of the above should only use
the device under supervision of a person responsible for their health and safety.
When not used or during maintenance you should always unplug the device from the source of electricity by removing the•
electrical plug from the socket.
ATTENTION: when the electrical plug is plugged into the socket the device is constantly live.•
Switch the device off before removing the plug from the socket.•
Never pull the device by the electrical cord.•
Do not use any additional elements other than those supplied with the device. Never set the device in the proximity of heat
sources (e.g. stoves or ovens).
STRUCTURE OF THE DEVICE2.
The electric chang dish with two soup kettles (4l). The purpose of this device is to maintain the temperature of soup.
Temperature control knob – when water inside the device reaches proper temperature thermostat will disengage he-1.
ating elements. When temperature falls more than 10 C below the set temperature heating elements will automatically
turn on. When temperature control knob is turned to 85 C +/_ 10 C steam may be visible around kettles. If the requ-
ired temperature is lower turn the control knob down. Temperature is maintained with 10 C tolerance.
Indicator lights – the device is equipped with 2 indicator lights. Then it is connected to a source of electricity the indica-2.
tor on the power switch is on. Activity of heating elements is indicated by an indicator located next to the temperature
control knob.
Water level – the tank should be lled with water up to the level market on the inside of the device. Do not overll the 3.
tank. If the kettles oat it means the tank has been overlled . In case cold water is used to ll the tank the device should
be turned on about 30 minutes before use. Using hot water shortens the time necessary to prepare this device to work.

Connecting to the source of electricity4.1.
The device should be plugged into a 230V socket . The socket must be grounded.
OPERATING THE DEVICE5.
Fill the tank with the correct amount of water. Blank kettles should not oat on the water surface..•
Do not initiate the device when the tank is empty.•
Use the temperature control knob to set the correct temperature. (range is 0 to 85 °C)•
Attention: remember to maintain a proper amount of water in the tank! Check the water level regularly, also when the device
is in use.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE6.
Always unplug the device before cleaning it.•
In case of heavy use remember to clean limescale sediment from the bottom of water tank.•
Never submerge the device into water or any other cleaning detergent.•
Clean the device with a damp cloth.•
Do not use abrasive or corrosive cleaning detergents to clean the device.•
Make sure none of the electrical elements of the device ever come in contact with water.•

END-OF-SERVICE LIFE RECYCLING8.
After the device reached its end-of-service life or when buying new equipment at Stalgast you can return the old device. Send
it to us and a specialized company will recycle it in accordance with the ESOL for Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act
(Legal Journal 2005 no. 180 point 1495).
WARRANTY9.
NOTE: Use water with a hardness of up to 6 ° dH. When water hardness exceeding 6o dH is recommended to install the
device softener, which will extend the life and reliability of the device.
The seller provides warranty for the product.
Any damage resulting from settlement of calcium on the device is not covered by the warranty.
Such elements as light bulbs, rubber elements, heating elements damaged by limescale, screws and elements which naturally
wear down such as heaters, gaskets, and any other elements damaged mechanically are not covered by the warranty.
