Features
StarLine BP-06 module performs automatic temporary disabling of a factory RFID
(Radio Frequency Identification) system during automatic remote engine
start. RFID system is used in most modern vehicles.
RFID transponder is built in factory ignition key and it's code is automatically requested
hile each engine start by means of original key.
But it prohibits a remote engine start ithout original key available.
StarLine BP-06 module automatically transmits an original transponder code to the
factory immobilizer antenna on the moment of remote start is engaged.
StarLine ВР-06 orks in common ith StarLine security systems having firm are
version L2 and above, and ith StarLine X96, StarLine M96, StarLine A/AS/B96,
StarLine E96 and StarLine S96 as ell.
Installation
StarLine BP-06 operates ith a spare original car key.
Mount the module in follo ing order:
• Open the module case and put an extra car key inside ith transponder inside the
planar antenna, fixing it from moving.
• Connect the cables to the corresponding connectors on the module board.
• Shut do n the module case.
• Fix the module into the hidden secured place inside a car interior.
• Connect the module ires according to the connection diagram.
Connection
Red ire — po er positive ire, connect to a permanent source of +12V po er.
Black ire — ground.
Violet ire — transmitter of a serial digital interface (TX).
Violet - yello ire — receiver of serial digital interface (RX).
Connection of violet and violet-yello ires to StarLine security systems connectors is
listed in Table No. 1

Fix the outer frame antenna around the ignition lock cylinder and connect it to XS4
socket on the module board. It is important to keep the shortest possible
distance bet een the factory RFID antenna and the BP-06 antenna.

The connection method is recommended in case of a eak signal of the factory
transponder key. Connect the loop antenna to XS3 socket of the module board, cut the
loop in the end and connect ires into the cut of ire circuit of the factory immobilizer
antenna. The frame antenna of the module is not used in this connection method.

Connection diagram 3
The connection method is recommended in case of difficulties in mounting the frame
antenna around the ignition lock cylinder in some vehicles.
Reel the loop antenna around the factory RFID antenna on ignition lock cylinder. It is
important to keep the shortest distance bet een factory RFID antenna and BP-06 loop
antenna.
Connect the loop antenna to XS4 socket of the module board.
Connection diagram
Module has the + 3.3V po er source for Smart Key po er supply connection.
Remove a battery from factory key and solder the module output ires to the battery
po er pins on the Smart Key circuit board:
• hite — to the positive contact
• black — to the negative contact.
If a key does not fit the module slot, so remove the key transponder) chip and mount it
inside the module.
