• Connect a SuperSpeed USB 5Gbps (USB 3.2 Gen 1) Peripheral to the SuperSpeed
USB Port on the rear of the Docking Station.
Connect a Display
• Connect an HDMI M/M Cable to the HDMI Output Port on the Docking Station
and to the HDMI Input Port on the rear of the HDMI Display Device.
Connect to a Network
• Connect a Network Cable to the RJ45 Port on the rear of the Docking Station and
to the Network Device.
Connect a Power Source
• Connect the Universal Power Adapter to the DC Power Input Port on the rear of
the Docking Station and to an AC Electrical Outlet.

LED Color Status Indication
Green Solid • Link speed is either 1000 Mbps (1 GbE), 100 Mbps,
or 10 Mbps
O • No connection established
Amber Flashing • Network trac detected
On • Link detected
Installation
Notes: Installation is automatic for all modern Operating Systems.
Shutting down the iPad Pro® (not sleep mode or restart) and leaving it
connected to the Docking Station before powering it back on, may result
in no HDMI video output. If this happens, disconnect and reconnect the 1M
USB-C Cable (included) from the USB-C Host Port on the front of the Docking
Station.
Windows 7 (and earlier) Driver Installation
1. If the Found New Hardware dialog box appears on the screen, close the dialog box
or click Cancel.
Note: Once the Docking Station is connected to the Host Device, and if no existing
Drivers are found, the Docking Station will load a CD-ROM Device that contains an
executable le that can be used to install the Driver.
2. After the CD-ROM Device nishes loading, run the Installation File.
3. Complete the on-screen instructions to nish the installation.
Note: Download the latest software from the StarTech.com website,
www.StarTech.com/DK30CHPH.
Connect a Host Device
• Connect the 1M USB-C Cable (included) to the USB-C Host Port on the front of the
Docking Station and to the USB-C Port on a Laptop, Computer, Phone, or a Tablet.
Connect USB Peripherals
• Connect up to two USB 2.0 Peripherals to the USB 2.0 Ports on the rear of the
Docking Station.
