Note: The Rear USB-A Port currently does not support high power USB drives (e.g.
M.2 SSD). If you have connected a high power USB drive to the rear USB-A Port on the
Docking Station you may experience the following:
• The connected USB drive might not be detected by the Operating System (OS).
• The connected USB drive drops during read/write operation.
• The connected USB drive triggers an Over Current Protection (OCP). The USB-A
Port will no longer detect any connected USB device.
If an OCP is triggered the Docking Station will require a hot plug or power cycle
(disconnect all power sources and connected USB drive from the Docking Station
for 30 seconds, reconnect the USB drive and power source to the Docking Station),
this will reset the OCP function on the USB-A Port.
To connect a high power USB drive to the Docking Station use one of the other USB
Ports on the Docking Station.
4. (Optional) Connect a USB Storage Device or other USB Peripheral to the USB-C
Port on the Docking Station.
5. Connect a CAT5e/6 Cable’s RJ45 Connector to the RJ45 Port on the Docking
Station and the other end to an RJ45 Port on a compatible Network Device.
