Each Steelcraft unit is thoroughly inspected in our Quality Assurance

material or workmanship that affects the units normal operation,
we will repair the unit free of charge within 12 months of purchase.

THE CORRECT USE AND MAINTENANCE OF THIS PRODUCT IS ESSENTIAL.
WARNINGS
.Do not leave children unattended.
.Follow the manufacturer's instructions.
.Ensure your child is secured with a correctly adjusted safety harness.
.Do not carry additional children on the stroller.
.Do not allow children to stand on the seat.
.Do not hang bags or goods from the handle as this could cause the stroller to tip over.
.Do not place more than 4kg in the basket, or 1kg in the canopy pocket (if supplied).
.The weight of the child using this product should not exceed17kg.
.Do not use accessories other than those supplied and approved by Britax.
.When making adjustments to the stroller, ensure that your childs body is clear of any
moving parts on the stroller.
.Always apply all of the brakes when parking the stroller.
.Check that all safety locks are engaged before placing a child in the stroller.
.Always raise the leg support to its highest position when transporting a baby. This will
reduce the risk of the baby falling out through the front of the stroller.
.Remove the child from the stroller before going up or down stairs and escalators.
.To prevent the risk of the stroller catching fire, do not park it near a radiator, an open
fire or a barbecue.
.Do not run while using this product.
.Do not lift the stroller by the bumper bar. It may disengage.
.Always lock the front swivel wheel when on uneven surfaces to minimize wheel wobble.
RECOMMENDATION
Some strollers have backrests adjustable between an upright and reclined position. The
upright positions are not suitable for use with children less than six months old. As a guide,
the lowest recline position should be used to transport babies, the backrest can be
adjusted to a more upright position as the child grows older and is able to support its head
without assistance.
SAFETY WARNING
The sun is very strong. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CHILD EXPOSED TO THE SUN.
The canopy or hood on this product will not give your child total protection from the
harmful rays of the sun.

To prolong the life of your nursery product keep it clean and do not leave it in the direct
sunlight for extended periods of time.
Removable fabric covers and trims may be cleaned using warm water with a household
soap or a mild detergent. Allow it to dry fully, preferably away from the direct sunlight.
HELPFUL HINTS
If the wheels squeak - use a silicon based spray or light oil ensuring it penetrates the
wheel and axle assembly.
When using your stroller at the beach - completely clean your stroller afterwards to
remove the sand and salt from the mechanisms and wheel assembly.
If there are compression marks on the tyres - use a domestic hair dryer to gently warm
the tyre and the compression marks should slowly disappear. (DO NOT OVERHEAT).
DO NOT DRY CLEAN, OR USE BLEACH.
Do not machine wash, tumble or spin dry, unless the care labeling on the product
permits these methods.
Non removable fabric covers and trims may be cleaned using a damp sponge with
soap or mild detergent. Allow it to dry completely before folding or storing it away.
In some climates the covers and trims may be affected by mould and mildew. To help
prevent this occurring, do not fold or store the product if it is damp or wet. Always
store the product in a well ventilated area.
Always check parts regularly for tightness of screws, nuts and other fasteners - tighten
if required. To maintain the safety of your nursery product, seek prompt repairs for bent,
torn, worn or broken parts. Use only those parts and accessories approved by Britax.

AHold the stroller by the handles and release the
storage latch.
BHold the handles and allow the front legs to drop
towards the floor. Do not try to open the stroller by
forcing the handles apart.
CPush down on the lower locking bar until the
frame is fully opened and locked.
DCheck that both the upper hinge and lower
locking bar are fully engaged.
2. TO ASSEMBLE THE FRONT SWIVEL WHEELS
A Take each front swivel wheel assembly and press it
onto each of the front legs.
BCheck that each wheel is fully engaged and
secured by pulling against it.

A Lower the stroller backrest to the full recline
position.
BFold the carrier handle up to the carry position
and grip firmly in one hand.
CRaise the carrier release catch located on the rear of
the carrier.
DLift the carrier clear of the stroller.
NOTE: Ensure the baby is secured in the carrier with
the harness at all times. The carrier has been fitted
with a hood when using with the stroller. The hood
may also be used in the car.

A Lift the locking clip up to lock the swivel wheels.
The swivel wheels can only be locked when the
wheels are in the trailing position (wheels under
frame).
BPush the locking clip down to allow the wheels to
swivel.
NOTE: Always lock the swivel wheels when using the
stroller on rough surfaces it will minimize wheel
wobble.
4. TO USE THE BRAKES
A Push down on each brake lever to lock the brakes.
B Lift each brake lever up to release the brakes.
ALWAYS APPLY BOTH BRAKES WHEN YOU PARK
THE STROLLER.
5. TO SECURE YOUR CHILD IN THE HARNESS
WARNING: Use this harness at all times.
A five-point harness is provided to restrain your child.
To secure the child in the harness, push buckle (A) and
(B) into the buckle housing (C) until the buckle prongs
snap into position. Carefully adjust the harness by
pulling the slider (D) until the desired fit is achieved in
the lap, shoulder and crotch straps. Always adjust the
harness when changing the seating position of the
child. To release the buckle, squeeze the top and
bottom prongs.

NOTE: Do not use the carrier with any other stroller.
Only use a Steelcraft stroller with the Unity
attachment bumper bar.
APosition the carrier over the stroller with the baby's
head end of the bassinet over the stroller bumper
bar.
BLower the carrier and ensure that the latch slot
locates onto the bumper bar.
CLower the foot end of the carrier until the latch
locks onto the bumper bar and rest foot end on the
seating area of the stroller.
DRaise and lock the stroller backrest to the middle
recline position. This is the recommended carrier
position for the baby.
EFold the carrier handle down, and then check the
carrier is securely attached to the stroller bumper
bar by lifting the carrier before use.
NOTE: Do not lift the stroller by the carrier. It may
disengage.

6. TO FIT THE BOOT COVER
A Place the boot cover over the leg rest.
Attach both the boot cover clips to the frame.
BAttach both the right hand and left hand boot cover
side attachments to the sides of the frame.
7. TO ADJUST THE LEG SUPPORT
A Lower the leg support by pressing up the release
latches located underneath on both sides of the leg
support. Then push the leg support down.
BRaise the leg support by lifting it until the release
latches lock into place.
8. TO ADJUST THE BACKREST
A Squeeze both the right hand and left hand latches
fully and pull them back towards the rear of the
stroller to the desired layback position.
BLift the backrest to select a more upright seating
position.
DO NOT ADJUST THE BACKREST WHILE YOUR
CHILD IS IN THE STROLLER.

WARNINGS
.Do not leave the child in the carrier for extended
periods.
.The carrier is designed to provide mobility outside
of the car but it should not be used instead of an
appropriate cot.
.The carrier must be correctly fitted and locked into
the stroller.
.The carrier must only be used with a Steelcraft
stroller with compatible attachments.

1. PREPARING THE STROLLER
AEnsure the stroller has been assembled correctly.
BOpen the stroller, apply the brakes and lower the
backrest to the fully reclined position.
CRemove the bumper bar cover and store in the
basket or pocket.
DFold the canopy back to the closed position.
NOTE: The bumper bar cover must be removed when
using the stroller as a Travel System. Caption -

9. TO ATTACH AND USE THE CANOPY
A Attach the canopy clips to each side of the stroller
frame by pushing the clips until they snap into
place.
BTie down the canopy with the elastic straps on
either side.
COpen the canopy by pulling the front of the canopy
forward and push the canopy hinges down on each
side to lock it in place.
DTo open the canopy window pull the flap away
from the canopy.
10. TO REMOVE THE ARM BAR
A Push over the holding clip under the armrest
and remove it to release the bumper bar.
BIf you are not replacing the bumper bar
immediately re-insert the holding clip back into
the armrest for safe keeping.
NOTE: Do not lift the stroller by the bumper bar. It
may disengage.

11. TO FOLD THE STROLLER
ARemove the boot cover (if fitted), close the
canopy and place the backrest in the fully upright
position. Apply the brakes and lock the swivel
wheels.
BLift the upper hinge lock (at the handles) and
the lower hinge lock (at the bottom).
CDepress and release the secondary lock and
push handles forward until the frame is fully
folded.
DApply the storage latch. A carry handle is
supplied for ease of transport when stroller
is fully folded.
