Each Steelcraft unit is thoroughly inspected in our Quality Assurance

material or workmanship that affects the units normal operation,
we will repair the unit free of charge within 12 months of purchase.

READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE ASSEMBLY AND USE OF THE STROLLER.
ALWAYS FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS. THE CORRECT USE AND MAINTENANCE OF THIS
PRODUCT IS ESSENTIAL.
WARNINGS
• Do not leave children unattended.
• Follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
• Ensure your child is secured with a correctly adjusted safety harness.
• Put on all the brakes whenever you park the stroller.
• The weight of the child using this product should not exceed 17kg in each seating
position.
• Do not place more than 4kg in the basket, or 1kg in the canopy pocket (if supplied).
• Do not carry extra children or bags on this stroller.
• Do not allow children to stand on the seat.
• Do not hang bags or goods from the handle as this could cause the stroller to tip
over.
• Make sure children are clear of any moving parts if you adjust the stroller, otherwise
they may be injured.
• Do not use accessories other than those supplied and approved by Britax.
• Check that all frame locks are engaged before placing a child in the stroller.
• Always raise the leg support to its highest position when transporting a baby. This
will reduce the risk of the baby falling out through the front of the stroller.
• Remove the child from the stroller before going up or down stairs and escalators.
• To prevent the risk of the stroller catching fire, do not park it near a radiator, an
open fire or a barbecue.
• Do not run with this product.
• When walking at brisk pace always lock front swivel wheel.
• Always lock front swivel wheel when on rough surfaces. This will help eliminate
wheel wobble.
• Do not lift the stroller by the bumper bar. It may disengage.
THIS PRODUCT IS NOT INTENDED FOR COMMERCIAL USE.
RECOMMENDATION
Some strollers have backrests adjustable between an upright and reclined position.
The upright positions are not suitable for use with children less than six months
old. As a guide, the lowest recline position should be used to transport babies, the
backrest can be adjusted to a more upright position as the child grows older and is
able to support its head without assistance.
SAFETY WARNING
The sun is very strong. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CHILD EXPOSED TO THE SUN. The
canopy or hood on this product will not give your child total protection from the
harmful rays of the sun.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Regularly inspect and maintain your stroller to ensure the freedom of movement of
the locking devices and security of components. To prolong the life of your nursery
product keep it clean and do not leave it in the direct sunlight for extended periods
of time.
Removable fabric covers and trims may be cleaned using warm water with a
household soap or a mild detergent. Allow it to dry fully, preferably away from the
direct sunlight.
DO NOT DRY CLEAN, OR USE BLEACH.
Do not machine wash, tumble or spin dry, unless the care labelling on the product
permits these methods.
Non removable fabric covers and trims may be cleaned using a damp sponge with
soap or mild detergent. Allow it to dry completely before folding or storing it away.
In some climates the covers and trims may be affected by mould and mildew. To
help prevent this occurring, do not fold or store the product if it is damp or wet.
Always store the product in a well ventilated area.
If the wheels squeak - use a silicon based spray or light oil ensuring it penetrates
the wheel and axle assembly.
When using your stroller at the beach - completely clean your stroller afterwards
to remove the sand and salt from the mechanisms and wheel assemblies.
If there are compression marks on the tyres - use a domestic hair dryer to gently
warm the tyre and the compression marks should slowly disappear.
(DO NOT OVERHEAT).
Always check parts regularly for tightness of screws, nuts and other fasteners
- tighten if required. To maintain the safety of your nursery product, seek prompt
repairs for bent, torn, worn or broken parts. Use only those parts and accessories
approved by Britax.

A After removing from carton, release the frame lock
catch and open the stroller.
BTo attach the rear wheels hold down the wheel
lock button and push the rear wheel into the axle of
the assembly. Release the button and ensure the
wheel is attached correctly by trying to pull it out.
CLower the rear wheel assembly onto the rear legs of
the chassis.
DInsert the two plastic locking clips into rear legs of
the chassis and check the assembly is correctly fitted
by trying to pull it out.
EThe rear wheels and wheel assembly can be
removed for more compact storage. Do this by
squeezing the fingers on the plastic locking clips and
removing them from the legs, allowing the assembly
to be lifted off the legs. To remove the rear wheels
push the wheel lock button and pull the wheel off
the axle.
2. TO INSTALL THE FRONT WHEEL
10. TO ADJUST THE LEG SUPPORT
ARaise or lower the leg support by lifting the release
latches located on both sides of the leg support.
11. TO FIT THE BOOTCOVER (where supplied)
APlace the bootcover over the leg support and fit the
lower straps around the frame.
BAttach both the right and left hand attachments
located at the top of the bootcover to the canopy
support bar.
12. TO FOLD THE STROLLER
AFold the canopy back and lower the backrest to the
fully reclined position (1). Apply the brakes, and
unlock the front wheel.
BStand behind the stroller and pull both frame lock
actuators (2). Gently press down on the handle
allowing the stroller to fold (3) until the chassis
locks into a fully folded position. Apply the frame
lock catch (4).

NOTE: The Pneumatic Front and Rear Tyres can be inflated with a bicycle pump or at a
garage air pump and they have a maximum inflation pressure of 2.4 bar (35 p.s.i)
ARemove the plastic protector (where fitted) from
the front forks.
BPush the front wheel axle fully into the wheel
forks.
CPlace the securing washer on both sides, ensure
the tabs in the washers are located into the
circular holes just above.
DWith the Lock Lever unlocked, tighten the front
wheel axle by turning the quick release hub in a
clockwise rotation. Then flip the lock lever to the
lock position.

3. TO OPEN THE STROLLER 7. TO SECURE YOUR CHILD IN THE HARNESS
WARNING: Use this harness at all times.
A five-point harness is provided to restrain your child.
To secure the child in the harness, push tongues (A)
and (B) into the buckle housing (C) until the buckle
tongues snap into position. Carefully adjust the harness
by pulling the slider (D) until the desired fit is achieved
in the lap, shoulder and crotch straps. Always adjust the
harness when changing the seating position of the child.
To release the buckle, squeeze the top and bottom
tongues on each side.
8. TO USE THE BUMPER BAR
AThe bumper bar has locating slots on both ends.
Rotate these slots until they are clear of the
plastic moulding and click into position.
BAlign the slots in the bumper bar with the tongues
on the inside of the armrest frame and push the
bumper bar onto the tongues.
CRotate the bumper bar forward into position.
Check the bumper bar is securely in place by
pulling on it.
DTo remove bumper bar rotate until fully upright
and pull out of tongues.
WARNING: Do not lift the stroller by the bumper bar.
It may disengage.
9. TO USE THE CANOPY
AFit canopy hood bows to the brackets on each side
of the stroller.
BPull canopy forward.
CTo open the canopy window pull the flap away
from the canopy. Use the fastener, to roll up and fix
the window cover.
DThe canopy can be opened by rotating the canopy
backwards.
A Lay the chassis down flat with the wheels
facing down and release the frame lock catch.
BGrasp the handle and lift upwards allowing the
chassis to extend and the frame lock to click into
fully open position.
CCheck the Stroller is ready for use by pushing
down on the handle, the Stroller should not
collapse.
4. TO LOCK/UNLOCK THE FRONT SWIVEL
AThe front wheel swivels to provide greater mobility.
To unlock, rotate the knob clockwise until the rivet
in the knob faces forward.
BTo lock the swivel rotate the knob clockwise half a
turn and move the fork until it locks into position.
5. TO USE THE FOOT BRAKES
ATo use the foot brake, push lever down
to lock the wheels.
BLift brake lever up to release brake on
the wheels.
NOTE: Always apply the brakes whenever
you park the stroller.
6. TO ADJUST THE BACKREST ANGLE
ATo fully recline the backrest squeeze the adjusting
bar up and lower the backrest down.
BTo raise the backrest to the fully upright position,
hold the fabric on the side of the seat clear and lift
the backrest up until it locks into place.
CEnsure the trim pocket (1) at the top of the backrest
is always looped over the frame.
