Adjustments & Alignment
IMPORTANT: Check that the Doors in the enclosure are aligned properly.
• If the Doors do not close properly, or do not lay at against the frame, the frame is
most likely being torqued. Typically this means that the replace face is not perfectly at,
plumb, level, or that the opening is not perfectly square. Do not force the enclosure frame
to conform to a replace that is not plumb or level.

NOTE: Failure to align the Fireplace Enclosure Glass Doors properly may result in glass
breakage or other damage directly attributable to improper installation.
• Stoll Industries replace doors are designed to be used with glass doors open when
the re is burning. Please discuss these options with your local Fireplace Dealer, as code
requirements and applications can vary.
• Excessive heat can cause damage to the Fireplace Enclosure and/or loss of temper in
glass resulting in glass breakage. A very hot wood or gas re, hot coals, embers, ashes,
and/or logs coming in contact with the back of the enclosure can cause discoloration
or more serious damage to the enclosure nishes. This type of damage, caused by
overheating, is considered abuse and is not covered under warranty.
• Your Stoll door and door frame nish can be cleaned using a damp cloth, or mild
household cleaner. To avoid damage to the nish, cleaners containing ammonia or other
harsh chemicals should be avoided.
