This guide refers to seating and table products of Classic Plaza range:
seat, DDA seat, back-to-back, platform, bench, table and DDA table.
Before beginning installation please read through this guide thoroughly.
Important to note:
• Handle the seat(s) and/or table(s) and parts in a manner to prevent
scratching, warping, bending and twisting. Do not slide parts on
concrete or other hard or abrasive surfaces.
• Please check that you have received all the components and inspect
goods on delivery. Double check with the list on the next page. The
image is for example only, you should receive your selected legs
and/or arms. Claims for defects or damage, shortage in quantity or
failure to comply with the description or quote must be made within
seven (7) business days. In case of damage, Street Furniture Australia
requires photographic evidence. If the damage occurred during
transport, we highly recommend taking photos prior to removing
packaging.

applicable to your order.

A. HOW TO ASSEMBLE THE LEGS
1. Please check that you have all the components Fig.1.
2. Make sure that you have the tools required Fig. 2.
3. Place the assembled seat/bench/table upside down and on to a
protected surface to prevent scratching. Fig. 3.
4. Place the leg into seat/bench/table frame the as shown in the Fig. 4. Fig. 3 Fig. 4

A. HOW TO ASSEMBLE THE LEGS (continued)
5. Align the leg structure so it has 50mm distance between the centre
of vertical leg and the centre of the seating frame/casting Fig. 5.
6. Insert two bolts with washers into the casting holes and thread them
into the seat casting Fig. 6.
7. Take dome nut and carefully place it into the slotted hole Fig. 7.
8. Using a 8mm Hex Key and Rachet DriveTool (not included), tighten
both bolts Fig. 8.
Note: The leg casting does not need to be completely closed or
touching the frame upper support as long as the leg is tight and the
faces of the upper frame and leg casting are parallel.
9. Repeat step 6 to 8 with the other castings. Fig. 7 Fig. 8

2. Make sure that you have the tool required Fig. 2.
3. Align arm holes with seat casting holes Fig. 3.
4. Thread bolts through arm and seat casting holes Fig. 4. Fig. 3 Fig. 4

5. Push the arm flush against the seat casting.
6. Take a dome nut and washer and secure it on the threaded end of
the bolt Fig. 5 and 6.
7. Using a 6mm Hex Key (not included), tighten the bolt on to the nut

8. Repeat step 6 and 7 for other hole. Fig. 7

‘SLUG’ SEAT DIVIDER (RETROFIT ONLY)
‘Slug’ is a seat divider designed to minimise damage to battens from
skateboard use. ‘Slug’ may be ordered assembled with the SFA seat or
bench, or ordered separately to be installed on site. The box on the right
shows how to retrofit the seat divider.

HOW TO INSTALL
Use indicator groove to
mark out distance back
from front of batten Drill Ø 12 blind hole. Drill Ø 7 through hole.
PARTS REQUIRED:
• 6mm screws (button head)
• Thread adhesive equal to Loctite 271
• Flat washers where appropriate
Note: SFA recommends security screws, equal to
Post Hexagon Socket Buttonhead Machine screws,
metric thread
TOOLS REQUIRED:
• Hand drill
• Drill bits (12dia and 7dia)
• Drill bit stop
• Suitable screwdriver
For extra strength, add a drop of
adhesive (ie Loctite 271) to thread
of slug. Insert screw.
