The menu is closed by pressing “esc” or selecng “Exit measurement values”.
Selecng “Overview” or “esc” exits the Info mode.
CAUTION
If “--” appears on the display instead of the measurement value, then there may be a defecve or incorrect temperature sensor. If
the cables are too long or the sensors are not placed opmally, the result may be small deviaons in the measurement values. In
this case the display values can be compensated for by making entries on the controller. Follow the instrucons under “6.7. - Sen-
sor calibraon” on page 47.
What measurement values are displayed depends on the selected program, the connected sensors and the specic device design.
2. Stascs
The menu “2. Stascs” is used for funcon control and long-term monitoring of the system.
The menu is closed by pressing “esc” or selecng “Exit stascs”.
CAUTION
For analysis of the system data it is essenal for the me to be set accurately on
the controller. Please note that the clock does not connue to run if the mains
voltage is interrupted, and must therefore be reset. Improper operaon or an in-
correct me may result in data being deleted, recorded incorrectly or overwrien.
The manufacturer accepts no liability for the recorded data!
Display of operang hours of the solar pump connected to the controller; various me ranges (day-year) are available.

The menu is closed by pressing “esc” or selecng “Exit operang modes”.
Automac mode is the normal operang mode of the controller. Only automac mode provides proper controller funcon taking into account the
current temperatures and the parameters that have been set! Aer an interrupon of the mains voltage the controller automacally returns to the
last operang mode selected!
The relay and thus the connected consumer are switched on and o by pressing a key, with no regard to the current temperatures and the param-
eters which have been set. The measured temperatures are also shown to provide an overview and funcon control.
DANGER
When operang mode “Manual” is acvated, the current temperatures and the selected parameters are no longer considered.
There is a danger of scalding or serious damage to the system. The operang mode “Manual” may only be used by specialists for
brief funcon tests or during commissioning!
CAUTION
When the operang mode “O” is acvated, all controller funcons are switched o. This can lead, for example, to overheang on
the solar collector or other system components. The measured temperatures are sll displayed to provide an overview.
4. Sengs
The necessary basic sengs required for the control funcon are made in menu “4. Sengs”.
The menu is closed by pressing “esc” or selecng “Exit sengs”.

If this value is exceeded at the applicable sensor X, the controller switches the associated pump and/or valve o. If the temperature falls below this
value again and the other condions are also met, then the controller switches the pump and/or valve on again.
Sengs range : 0°C to 99 °C (32°F to 210 °F) / Default seng: 60°C (140°F)
DANGER
Temperature values which are set too high can lead to scalding or damage to the system. Scalding protecon must be provided by
the customer!

This determines the order, in which the storages are charged. If the same priority is set for 2 storages, the charging is not switchedm over unl
charging the acve storage is not possible anymore.
Sengs range: 1 (highest) - 3 (lowest)
In systems with mulple storage tanks, charging of the lower-priority storage tank will never take place unl this set temperature setpoint at the
storage tank sensor of the highest-priority storage tank is exceeded.
Seng range: from 0°C to 90°C (32°F to 194°F) / default seng: 40°C (104°F)
The charging of the lower-priority storage tank is interrupted aer the seable me in order to check whether the collector has reached a tempera-
ture level that allows charging in the higher-priority storage tank. If so, the priority storage tank is charged.
If not, the increase is measured (see “4.9. - Increase”), to check if charging of the priority storage tank will be possible shortly.
Seng range: from 1 to 90 minutes / default seng: 20 minutes
CAUTION
If the set temperature dierence is too small, this may result in ineecve operaon, depending on the system and sensor posi-
ons.Special switching condions apply for speed control (see „6.2. - Speed control“ on page 27)!
∆
If this temperature dierence between the reference sensors is exceeded and the other condions are also met, then the controller switches the
applicable relay on. When the temperature drops to ΔT O, then the relay is switched o.
Sengs range: ΔT from 4°C to 50°C (39°F to 122°F) / ΔT-O from 2°C to 49°C (35°F to 120°F)
Default seng: Depends on selected hydraulic variant
For precise seng of the charging priories for systems with mulple storage tanks, the necessary temperature increase of the collector at which
the interrupon of the charging into the lower-priority storage tank is extended by one minute is set here. The interrupon is extended because the
temperature increase of the collector is expected to enable charging in the higher-priority storage tank soon.
As soon as ΔT condions are met, the priority storage tank is charged. If the rise in temperature falls below the set value, then the charging of the
lower-priority storage tank is enabled again.
Seng range: from 1°C to 10°C (33°F to 50°F) /default seng: 3°C (37°F)
