CDRdisctobeinitialized.

2. PresstheRECORDSETTINGSbuttontochooseaninputsourceandmedia
destination.

3. FromtheRECORDSETTINGSscreen,usethegreyjoysticktohighlight(blue
bar)InputSourceandpressthegreyjoystickdown(PUSHENTER)toreveal
theInputSourceoptions.RotateFunctionAdjustKnob#1(seebelow)tothe
desiredinputsource,e.g.,InternalMIC,ExternalMIC.Pressthegreyjoystick
downtoentertheselection.InputSourcewilldisplaytheselectedinput
sourceontheRECORDSETTINGSscreen.

4. FromtheRECORDSETTINGSscreen,usethegreyjoysticktohighlight(blue
bar)RecordingFolderoptionandpressthegreyjoystickdown(PUSHENTER).
Rotatethejogwheeltohighlight[Return]optionandpressthegreyjoystick
down(PUSHENTER).TheDeviceSelectMenuwillappeardisplaying[Int
Memory]and[CDR].


5. Rotatethejogwheelandhighlight[CDR]andpressthegreyjoystickdown
(PUSHENTER).Rotatethejogwheelandhighlight[CurrentFolder]pressthe
greyjoystickdown(PUSHENTER).RecordingFolder[\CDR]willbedisplayed
indicatingCD‐Rastherecordingselection.

6. PresstheRECORDSETTINGSbuttontoreturntothemainmenu.Whenusing
internalorexternalmicrophones,arecordlevelmustbeset.Formanual
settingoftherecordlevels,slidetheRECLEVELswitchtoMAN(locatedon
thefrontpanel,right‐handsideoftheunit).AdjusttheMIC/LINElevel
controls(L/1&R/2)inconjunctionwiththeLCDrecordlevelmetersinthe
displaytothedesiredrecordlevel.Tosettherecordlevelsautomatically,
slidetheRECLEVELswitchtoALC(AutomaticLevelControl),bypassingthe
manualrecordlevelcontrols.

7. PresstheRECbuttonontopoftheunit.TheRECbuttonwillflashred
indicatingtheunitisinrecord/pauseandCDRdiscwillwhirasitpreparesfor
recording.Speaktowardsmicrophonesandconfirmgreen(VUMeters)bars
onthebottomofthedisplaymovewhenaudioispresent.PresstheREC
buttonagaintobeginrecording.PressPLAY/PAUSEtopausetherecording.
PresstheRECbuttontoresumerecording.PressSTOPtoendrecording.


CDR/CD‐RWFinalization

OnceyouhavecompletedalldesiredrecordingsontheCDRorCD‐RWyoumustfinalize
thediscinordertoplayaCDRorCD‐RWonstandardCDplayers.Toconvertthedisc
fromrecordabletoaCDAudioplaybackdiscfollowthesesteps.

1. WhilethediscisstillintheCDRdrive,presstheMakeCDbutton.


2. FromtheMakeCDMenuusethejogwheeltohighlighttheFinalizeoption
andpressthegreyjoystickdown(PUSHENTER).

menudisplayandthedisccanbeejectedfromtheCDRdrive.Note:oncea
CDRdischasbeenfinalizedyoucannolongerrecordonthisdisc.

