EARPIECE INSTALLATION
Grasping elbow connector, gently insert earpiece stem into appropriate
ear canal until earpiece is ush against canal opening. Fit half-round
earpiece helix to the natural contour (concha) surrounding the ear canal.
Some wearers prefer to use a “rotation” insertion, starting with a
slightly forward rotation, then rotating the earpiece backward while
inserting, ending up vertically aligned and “locked” into place.
ORDERING EARPIECES
EarPro by SureFire earpieces should last approximately six months. Actual
service life may vary, depending on frequency of use, climate, exposure to
the elements, lack of maintenance, personal body chemistry, and other
factors. To order new earpieces for your Acoustic Tube system, contact
SureFire customer service at 714-545-9444 or visit www.surere.com.
EARPRO BY SUREFIRE GUARANTEE
EarPro by SureFire guarantees this product to be free from defect in
workmanship and materials for a period of 90 days from the date of
purchase. At our discretion, we will repair, replace, or refund your original
purchase price of this product if it is determined, by us, to be defective.
Damage resulting from abuse, neglect, or altering this product from its
original state is not covered. Before returning any EarPro product, you
MUST rst obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number

ACOUSTIC TUBE INSTALLATION
The Coiled Acoustic Tubing can be attached directly to the barb end
on a receiver device with barb.
For a device with a quick disconnect, attach the barb end of the
enclosed Luer Lug into the acoustic tube end as shown, then insert
luer into male luer or male barb on a receiver device.

UAC INSTALLATION
The (UAC) ts to either left or right SureFire earpiece, depending on
preference, without compromising the direction of the lter or the
radio acoustic tubing.
Note: For full hearing protection, EP3, EP4 or EP7 must be worn in
both ears
The UAC has a two position cap. In the closed position, it provides
maximum hearing protection. In the open position, it provides
situational awareness and hearing protection from harmful noise.
It is recommended to use the radio headset acoustic tubing with
SureFire EarPro EP3, EP4 or EP7 earpieces. One should select S, M or
L size to ensure proper t.
Note: Filter cap must be removed from earpiece and replaced with
the UAC
WARNING: Improper t of this device will reduce its
effectiveness in attenuating noise. Consult instructions for proper
t. Failure to follow instructions could result in hearing loss
and/or injury. EP3, EP4 or EP7 Sonic Defenders t most people;
however, no hearing protection ts everyone. If proper t cannot
be achieved following instructions, discontinue use.
