III. Weighing with TARE Function
a) Scale is ON.
b) Place a holder, plate or a container on the platform, touch “ON/OFF/TARE”
(do NOT hold it) and wait about 1 second until “0” is shown.
c) Put the weight object into the container, screen reading is the object’s weight
Note: You can use the TARE function for as many times as you need in one weighing process.

OPERATION INSTRUCTION
I. Weighing
a) Place the scale on hard flat even surface.
b) Turn the scale ON.
c) You can start to weigh when “0” is shown. If it shows a negative value or value rather
than “0”, use the TARE function to clear to 0.
d) Put the weight object onto the center of the platform, the weight result will be shown.
a) Low battery indication.
When “Lo” is shown, please replace the batteries.
b) Overload indication.
When “EEEE” or “Err” is shown, this indicates it exceeds the maximum allowance weight,
please remove the weight object on the scale to protect the sensors.
(NOTE: Never place objects exceeding 11 lb (5000 g) on the scale, it can damage the
sensors and scale.)
c) Negative reading indication.
Under TARE mode, negative reading will be shown when the container is taken off from
the platform. You may use the TARE function to clear to 0.
II. UNIT Selection
Touch “UNIT” key to select your desired unit:
• Turn Scale ON: Touch “ON/OFF/TARE”
• Turn Scale OFF: Touch “ON/OFF/TARE” and hold for about 2 seconds.
• TARE function: When the scale is ON, touch “ON/OFF/TARE” once (do NOT hold it),
wait about 1 second for the scale to clear to 0.
• Change UNIT: When the scale is ON, touch “UNIT” to switch your desired unit in g, fl.oz,
lb:oz, and ml
• If no operation, the scale will turn off automatically in about 60 seconds.
