T ese devices must not be bypassed, removed or disabled for
any reason.
If t e devices must be disabled to carry out maintenance or
servicing, operate on t e appliance only w en t e power supply

existing regulations.
We recommend t e operator to periodically c eck t eir correct
operation.

Please read t e following carefully in order to understand t e general warranty
conditions for t is product.
ART. 1 - Scope of application
T ese general terms and conditions s all apply to all t e goods and services provided
by our company. Placed orders s all imply t e full and unconditional acceptance of
t ese general terms and conditions of sale. T e contract of sale s all be considered
perfected w en t e Purc aser receives t e order confirmation from t e Seller.
ART. 2 - Electromagnetic compatibility and safety
Our company certifies t at t e supplied goods comply wit t e standards concerning
electromagnetic compatibility and safety; mandatory declarations are indicated in
detail in t e plates and labels affixed on t e products and in t e tec nical
documentation attac ed or available at our premises. T e recipients of t e supply
undertake to use or market t e supplied goods, ensuring t e integrity, completeness
and usability of suc information.
ART. 3 – Warranty
Except in cases w ere t e mandatory provisions in Leg. Decree No. 206/2005
(“Consumer Code”) or in ot er relevant laws are to be applied, t e goods and services
are supplied under warranty by our company for a period of 12 mont s. T is period
starts from t e date of purc ase of t e product. T e warranty is exclusively limited to
t e normal operation of t e goods supplied and to t e result of t e service provided.
T e warranty exclusively involves t e repairs or replacement of t e goods. Restoration
of t e goods to t eir normal operative state s all be carried out in our factory.
Alt oug not provided for ere, Art. 1512 CC is also applicable in terms of revocation
and limitation.
Our company s all not be liable in any way for operation of goods supplied in
environmental conditions or tec nical conditions ot er t an t ose establis ed by our
specifications, usually set out in t e tec nical documentation. Any liability for direct or
indirect damage not deriving from a malfunction is expressly excluded.
T e warranty is void and null if t e purc aser is insolvent in paying t e establis ed
price.
T e warranty does not apply in t e following cases:
1.
lack of or improper maintenance, even if carried out by qualified personnel;
2.
repairs or alterations made by t e purc aser on is unilateral initiative;
3.
inadequate or irregular voltage in t e power lines, insufficient flow rate and
abnormal electrical systems;
4.
corrosive action of detergents;
5.
poor or non-functioning software or ardware or loss of data recorded by t e
purc aser as a result of storms, lig tning, ig temperature or voltage variations of
t e electric current, eart quakes, fire, etc.;
6.
wit reference to all t e electrical components and mec anical plastic moving parts
subject to normal wear, w ic must be replaced during routine maintenance;

7.
w ere t e products ave been used in conjunction wit or incorporated into
equipment or materials w ose specifications ave not been approved in writing by
t e selling company;

tampering wit t e label s owing t e serial number of t e mac ine;
9.
fault or breakage due to transport, acts of vandalism, natural calamities or wilful
damage;
10.
wrong or bad installation of t e product;
11.
carelessness, negligence or lack of skill in using t e product;
12.
failure to comply wit t e operating instructions in t e tec nical manual;
13.
interventions for alleged defects or casual c ecks;
14.
repairs carried out wit out our aut orization.
Malfunctioning of t e mac ine due to t e software not being upgraded is not
considered a defect. Comesterogroup is not obliged in any way to upgrade t e
software free of c arge or upgrade t e mec anical components w ic may be
necessary due to new coins or banknotes being introduced by t e Italian and
European aut orities, w en repairing a product t at is covered by t e warranty.
However, suc upgrades could still be requested from Comesterogroup and t e
company is obliged to send a quotation to t e customer prior to intervention.
Any repair or tampering carried out on t e supplied goods by subjects w o are not
aut orized by us will render t e warranty null and void.
We declare to ave carefully considered, to t e best of our knowledge and
manufacturing practices, t e issue related to preventing t e goods supplied from
being violated by persons w o intentionally intend to alter t eir operation. However,
we s all no assume any liability for illegal conduct or damage t at may result
fraudulent use of t e goods supplied. All required repairs not covered by t e warranty
must be paid for and t e Comesterogroup price list s all apply w ose updates are
regularly communicated.
ART. 4 – Limitation of Liability
Notwit standing t e ypot eses in art. 1229 of t e Italian Civil Code and
notwit standing t e mandatory provisions of law, for every damage caused directly or
indirectly by failures or delays of t e Seller or by t e purc ased products to objects or
persons, including but not limited to lost profits and damage to t e corporate image,
t e compensation payable by t e Seller s all not exceed, in any case, 10% of t e
amount paid by t e Purc aser for t e product t at caused t e damage.
ART. 5 – Delivery
T e goods subject of t e supply are considered delivered at t e time and in t e place
t ey are passed on to t e carrier; t erefore, our company s all not be eld liable for
total or partial s ortages, damage or delays related to transport. Upon delivery, t e
recipient must duly note any errors or damage on t e bill of lading. T e Purc aser's
refusal to accept or collect all or part of t e ordered goods does not suspend
obligation to pay. T e terms of delivery indicated in t e order confirmation allow for a
grace period of 60 days. Upon delivery, t e Purc aser must carry out a complete
tec nical verification of t e quality and functionality of t e product wit in eig t days. If

not, t e product s all be considered accepted wit out reservations or objections by
t e Purc aser.
ART. 6 - Retention of Title
T e supplied goods s all remain t e property of our company until full payment of t e
price as been made. In t e event of termination of t e contract for non-payment, t e
Seller is entitled to claim t e unpaid items eld by t e Purc aser, w ic must be
returned at t e Purc aser's expense. All sums already paid will be retained by t e
seller as compensation and penalty.
ART. 7 – Terms of payment
Invoices must be paid in accordance wit t e agreements and wit in t e deadline
specified on t e invoice. Any delay in payment will automatically result, wit out t e
need of formal notice, t e application of interest at t e rate stipulated in Legislative
Decree no. 231 of 9.10.2002, unless agreed ot erwise. If t e purc aser delays, eac
benefit in t e terms and conditions t at may ave been granted s all be deemed null
and void and t e seller may demand immediate payment of all outstanding amounts
as well as of additional orders on receipt of t e goods.
ART. 8 – Returns
Return of faulty goods or of goods requiring our assistance must be expressly
aut orised by us. T erefore, we reserve t e rig t to reject t e return or ask you to
return t e good to anot er destination ot er t an our eadquarters. We s all be liable
for t e goods only w en it will be delivered to t e indicated address.
ART. 9 - Applicable law and court of jurisdiction
T e supplies regulated by t ese general terms and conditions are governed by Italian
law. Any dispute s all be resolved by t e Court of Milan.

product and all its parts and its correct maintenance.

2. Presen a ion
T e new World Key/World Key Lite/World Key Move cas less/contactless system
uses t e Mifare® (standard, Plus, DesFire, NFC) tec nology platform to ensure ig
safety standards and management of multiple applications.
Security in transferring data is ensured by t e combination of t e proprietary
encryption Mifare® and RFTec TDES (Triple Data Encryption Standard).
T e possibility of managing multiple applications is due to t e capability of t e system
of interfacing wit a wide range of devices:
-Devices w ic use t e Executive protocol.
-Devices w ic use t e MDB and BDV protocol.
-Comestero KPD and KPM boards.
-Parallel interface integrated in Word Key Par.
-Set up for integration of Et ernet, RS485, CAN BUS and ccTalk interfaces.
Executive, MDB and BDV protocols cover t e most devices in t e vending mac ine
industry, w ile KPD, KPM and Word Key Par boards are intended to interface
electromec anical devices for service dispensers.
T e system also allows various sale or identification applications to be managed
(access to different services also of different managers), storing t em on a single RFID
support (card/key/tag).
Finally, World Key allows you to use all types of electronic wallets for payment (cards,
keys and any ot er form of RFID tag/transponder in MIFARE standard) in order to
meet all needs and different use experiences of t e end users. T e type of
products/services t e customer can access can also be specified for eac
card/key/tag.

3. Warnings
Read t is manual carefully before use.
Knowledge of t e information and instructions of t is manual is
fundamental to use t e product correctly.
C eck upon receipt t at t e package and t e product ave not
been damaged during transport.
Take care wit t e electrical connections. Faults due to failure to follow t e warnings
of t is publication are not covered by warranty.
Significant situations t at need to be followed strictly are signalled by specific symbols
in t is manual.
4. Unpacking
4.1 Recep ion of packaged produc
C eck upon receipt t at t e product as not been damaged during transport. If any
damage is noticed, notify t e transporter immediately.
After transport t e package must be intact, t at is, it must not:
•S ow dents, signs of s ocks, deformation or breakages of t e container.
•S ow areas t at are wet or signs t at would point to t e fact t at t e casing
as been exposed to rain, frost or eat.
•S ow signs of tampering.
Also, c eck t at t e content of t e package matc es t e order.
4.2 Handling
In order to prevent damage to t e mac ine, it is recommended to
transport it exclusively inside its original packaging.
We recommend:
•not to bump t e mac ine.
•not to leave t e mac ine (even if still in t e package) exposed to atmosp eric
agents.
