Product description
Balance is an aid for people who requires
extra support when moving to and from the
lavatory, and when sitting on the lavatory.
Balance is a modular system that consists
of a numerous of different components
that can be combined in various ways.
Balance may only be installed on lavatories
that are firmly anchored to floor or wall.
Never leave a person who is using
Balance unattended.
In case of any problems with Balance,
contact an occupational therapist or Svan
Care for support.
Svan Care assumes no liability if this
product is used, changed or installed in
any other way than specified in this
Installation and User Manual.
Maximum load: Armrest 130 kg,
Armrest Surround 130 kg/50 kg
(see page 3, model 7 and 8), Grab Rail
130 kg, Frame 130 kg, Footrest 60 kg.

1. Place the Frame
over the lavatory.
3. Mount the Grab
Rail brackets (two options).
Tighten the four bolts with
the tool provided. Adjust the
height of the Grab Rails
(five options).
5. Mount the Footrest on a
suitable height (four options).
2. Mount the Lavatory
Seat and tighten the two
nuts (if necessary, use
the smaller cone to
stabilize).
4. Mount the Armrests
and adjust the height
(three options).
6. If Footrest is not
included, mount the
Footrest Substitute in
the top position.
Tighten the two bolts
with the tool provided.
Before use: Be sure that Balance is well mounted and properly secured on the lavatory.
NOTE! Verify which model you have (different parts are supplied to different models).

Clean the product with soap and water. If necessary, use rubbing alcohol (70%).
Easy to Clean
Disassemble the product. Clean the parts with detergent (or similar liquid) and rinse with
water. Then dry and disinfect. Check parts for wear and tear, replace if necessary.
Reconditioning
Always protect parts against external stress during transport.
Transport and Storage
Balance can be combined with a number of products from Svan Care, e.g. Bidette, Hole
Reducer and Back Cushion, etc. These products are accompanied by separate instructions.
Specifications
Balance is made of varnished stainless steel, with details in polyurethane without latex.
Lavatory Seat, Handles and Footrest can be turned in for incineration or recycling.
Metal parts are to be scrapped.
