INSTALLATION & OPERATION GUIDE
Before nstaaton pease ensure you have read the Operation and
Safety Information.
Ths gude shoud be foowed to ensure the Swivelpole™ s assembed
and nstaed safey and correcty.

. Feed the eectrca cabe
through the base secton of the
Swvepoe™ to the access pane.
. Poston the base secton over
the nstaed cage bots.
. Rotate the Swvepoe™
base secton to the desred
orentaton.
. Agn the base secton so t s
vertca.
. Tghten base pate bots.
. Feed the eectrca cabe through
the poe top pror to botng to
the swve pate.
7. Apply multi-purpose grease to
bottom swivel plate surfaces
and bolts.
. Sde the camp pate onto the
poe top.
. Wth one person hodng the
poe top horzontay, the second
person can poston the round
swve pate ocator nto the hoe
of the base secton swve pate.
. The ange nuts are nserted on
the undersde of the bottom
swve pate.
. Bot the camp pate to the swve
pate, usng the fastenng kts.
. The safety pn wre oop shoud
be tted between the pates
usng the bottom eft-hand bot.
Note: The clamp plate includes a
stop tab for poles 5m and above
(1). If the F17 is being lowered
to the right, the stop tab needs
to be on the left. If the F17 is
being lowered to the left, the
stop tab needs to be on the
right.
. Tghten the bots eveny. Appy
enough tenson to aow
controed rasng of the poe
top, at ths pont the Swvepoe™
w be sef supportng.
. To rase, use two peope to gude
t as t swves to the uprght
poston.
. Insert the safety pn.
. Wth the poe top n the uprght
poston, mark the poe n the
drecton the xture s to face,
and ower t agan to t the
xture.
. To ower, retract the safety pn
and swve the poe top down to
a safe workng heght and nsert
the safety pn.
. Ft the xture mount as per
marked poston on poe top.
. Tghten the grub screws to a
torque settng of Nm to Nm.
. Compete nstaaton and
termnaton of the xture.
. Rase the Swvepoe™ and nsert
the safety pn.
. Tghten the bots eveny to a
torque settng of between Nm
and Nm.

To lower Swivelpole™:
. Ensure safety pn s nserted.
. Loosen - but do not remove - bots so the top
secton owers wth some resstance on the
campng pate. Ths aows safe and controed
owerng acton for two-person operaton.
. Whst hodng the poe top wth one hand,
retract the safety pn and ower
t to a comfortabe workng poston.
. Insert the safety pn.
To raise Swivelpole™:
. Retract the safety pn.
. Push the poe top, gudng t as t
swves to the uprght poston.
. Insert the safety pn.
. Tghten the bots eveny to a
torque settng of between
Nm and Nm.

• A torque wrench.
• Aen keys to sut: M grub screws - use for
ght mounts. M or M grub screws -
use for Retrot ockng coars.
• Mut-purpose grease for Safe Swve™
jont.
Maintenance and inspection
