3.1General
ThisinstallationmanualconcernsairhandlingunittypeTopvexSC03-11manufacturedbySystemairAB.
TopvexSC03-11includethefollowingmodeloptions:
•Model:SC03,SC04,SC06,SC08,SC11.
•Heatingcoil:EL(Electric),HW(Watercoil)orNone.
•Rightorleftmodels:R(Right)L(Left).Thesidewherethesupplyairislocatedwhenviewedfrom
theaccessside.
•Airowcontrol:CAV(ConstantAirVolume),VAV(VariableAirVolume=Constantductpressure
control)
Waterheatingbatterycanbeorderedasanaccessorytounitswithoutre-heater.
Thismanualconsistsofbasicinformationandrecommendationsconcerningthedesign,installation,
start-upandoperation,toensureaproperfail-freeoperationoftheunit.
Thekeytoproperandsafeoperatingoftheunitistoreadthismanualthoroughly,usetheunitaccordingto
givenguidelinesandfollowallsafetyrequirements.

TheTopvexSC03-11shouldbestoredandtransportedinsuchawaythatitisprotectedagainstphysical
damagethatcanharmpanels,handles,displayetc.Itshouldbecoveredsothatdust,rainandsnow
cannotenteranddamagetheunitanditscomponents.Theapplianceisdeliveredwithallnecessary
components,wrappedinplasticonapalletforeasytransportation.
WhentransportingtheTopvexSC03-11unitsuseaforkliftplacedonthegableoftheunit.Forsize
SC06-SC11theunitsaredeliveredinpartsonthepallet.
Warning
Theunitisheavy.Becarefulduringtransportandmounting.Riskofinjurythroughpinching.Use
protectiveclothing.
Becarefulsotheunitdon'ttipover.
4Installation
4.1Unpacking
Verifythatallorderedequipmentaredeliveredbeforestartingtheinstallation.Anydiscrepanciesfromthe
orderedequipmentmustbereportedtothesupplierofSystemairproducts.

4.2Where/howtoinstall
TopvexSC03-11aremeantforindoorinstallation.T opvexSC03-11canbeinstalledoutsideifweather
protected.Placetheunitonahorizontalatsurface.It’simportantthattheunitiscompletelylevelled
beforeitisputintooperation.
Placetheunitpreferablyinaseparateroom(e.g.storage,laundryroom,atticorsimilar).Theelectronic
componentsshouldnotbeexposedtolowertemperaturethan0°Candhigherthan+50°C.
Iftheunitisinstalledinacoldplaceitisimportantthattheunitisnotshut-offbythemainswitch.Aslong
asthemainvoltageisontheelectricalcabinetwillbekeptwarmalsoincoldclimates.Althoughtheunitis
turnedoffbythecontrolsystemthecurrentison.
Whenchoosingthelocationitshouldbekeptinmindthattheunitrequiresmaintenanceregularlyand
thattheinspectiondoorsshouldbeeasilyaccessible.Leavefreespaceforopeningthedoorsandfor
takingoutthemaincomponents.
Avoidplacingtheapplianceagainstawall,aslowfrequencynoisecancausevibrationsinthewallevenif
thefannoise-levelisacceptable.Ifthisisnotpossibleitisrecommendedtocarefullyinsulatethewall.
Theoutdoorairintakeofthebuildingshouldifpossiblebeputinthenorthernoreasternsideofthebuilding
andawayfromotherexhaustoutletslikekitchenfanoutcastsorlaundryroomoutlets.
ForsizeSC06-SC11theunitsaredeliveredinpartsonthepallet.Formountingprocedureseegure4
andgure5.ConnectthepowersupplyfortheelectricalheatingbatterytotheTTC(pos.1).Thecables
aremarkedTTCL1OUT,TTCL2OUTandTTCL3OUT .Attachthefastcouplingstotheelectricwires.
Connectthetubesforthepressureguardlter.Pushtheunitstogetherandfastentheassemblytting
(pos.2)withahexkey.Makesurethatthereisenoughspacebehindtheunittotightenthebolts.
