IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electric appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:
1. Read all instructions before using.
2. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
3. To protect against electric shock, do not immerse or partially immerse cord, plugs, or appliance
in water or other liquid.
4. Not intended for use by children. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used
by or near children.
5. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or
taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
6. Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions,
or has been damaged in any manner. Return the appliance to the nearest authorized service
facility for examination, repair or adjustment.
7. The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may
cause injuries.
8. Do not use outdoors.
9. Do not let cord hang over the edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
10. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
11. Before use, check that your local voltage corresponds with the specifications shown on the ap-
pliance nameplate located under the appliance.
12 Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord in the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any
control to "off", then remove plug from wall outlet.
13. Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids.
14. The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high when the appliance is operating.
15. Check that the electrical installation is compatible with the wattage and voltage stated on the
bottom of the appliance.
16. CAUTION - To ensure continued protection against risk of electric shock, connect to properly-
grounded outlets only.
17. Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord in the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any
control to "off"then remove plug from wall outlet.
18. Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
19. 60 minutes ON in two-hour period : the appliance shall not be switched ON more then 60
minutes in a two-hour period.
20. This appliance is not intended for deep frying foods.

• This appliance is intended for domestic household use only.
• If an extension cord is used, make sure to choose one of equivalent diameter with a grounded
outlet.
• Never leave the appliance unattended when in use.
• Do not immerse the appliance, the electrical box or power cord in water.
• To prevent the appliance from overheating, do not place it in a corner or against a wall.
• Make sure the appliance is in a stable position on the table.
• Do not place the hot wok under water or on a fragile surface.
• Only use parts or accessories provided with the appliance or bought from an Approved Service
Center. Do not use them for other appliances or intention.
• Never insert aluminum foil or any other object between the pot and the heating element.
• The maximum usage time within a 2 hour period is one hour. Do not operate the appliance for
more than one hour in a two hour period.

Short Cord instructions
A short power-supply cord (or detachable power-supply cord) is to be provided to reduce the risk
resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
Longer detachable power-supply cords or extension cords are available and may be used if care is
exercised in their use.
If a long detachable power-supply cord or extension cord is used :
1) The marked electrical rating of the cord or extension cord should be at least as great as the
electrical rating of the appliance;
2) If the appliance is of the grounded type, the extension cord should be a grounding-type3-wire
cord;
and
3) The longer cord should be arranged so that it does not drape over the countertop or table top
where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally.
• Position the cord carefully, whether an extension is used or not, so that guests can move freely
around the table without tripping over it.
• Always plug the appliance into a grounded socket.

1 - Before first use
1Remove all packaging materials, stickers and accessories
from the inside and the outside of the appliance.
Never place the appliance directly on a fragile surface (glass
table, tablecloth, varnished furniture, etc.) or on a soft surface
such as a dish towel.
To prevent the appliance from overheating, do not place it
in a corner or against a wall.
2When using for the first time, wash the Wok and the acces-
sories with a sponge, hot water and dish soap liquid. Wipe
dry with a soft cloth or paper towels.
Pour a little cooking oil inside the Wok and then wipe it with
an absorbent kitchen towel.
Do not place the cooking plate under water or onto fragile
surface when the appliance is hot.
Never use metal scourers or scouring powders to avoid dam-
aging the cooking surface.
Properly position the steaming pan on the wok and lid on
the steaming pan.
3Set the electrical box on min. position, connect the electrical
box to the pin of the appliance.
If the electrical box is incorrectly positioned, the safety
system will prevent the appliance from working.
Make sure that the electrical box is completely inserted.
4Fully unwind the power cord.
Make sure that the electric power supply is compatible with
the power rating and voltage indicated under the electrical
box.
Only the appropriate electrical box must be used.

5Plug the power cord into grounded socket.
If an extension cord is used: take all necessary precautions
to prevent anyone tripping over an extension cord.
If the power supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by
the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified
person in order to avoid a hazard.
The power supply cord should be regularly examined for
signs of damage, and if the cord is damaged, the appliance
must not be used.
On first use, there may be a slight odor and a little smoke
during the first few minutes. In these cases, open the
windows and wait until there is no more.
This appliance is not intended to be operated by means
of an external timer or separate remote-control system.
Do not move the appliance when in use.
Never run the appliance empty.
If you want to use only the wok, remove the steaming pan.
Do not use aluminium foil to cover the appliance, do not use
the wok for uses other than cooking.
To avoid scratching the non-stick coating, do not use a fork or
metal utensils to scrape food out from the bottom of the wok.
Do not cut food directly in the wok.
Do not place cooking utensils on the cooking surfaces of the
appliance.
Use a wooden or plastic spatula when preparing your recipe.
Do not attempt to move the appliance when filled with hot oil.
This appliance is not a fryer. The wok pan must never be used
for cooking french fries, doughnuts, ...
Ensure that the food to be cooked is well drained.
When using frozen food, ensure that it is properly defrosted and
dried.
Do not leave the appliance unattended during use.

Wok cooking
6To cook in the wok, put on a little oil and turn the dial to the
desired temperature setting.
The preheat indicator light comes on to indicate the grill is
heating.
When the selected temperature is reached, the preheat
indicator light will go out.
The preheat indicator light will turn on and off during
cooking to indicate your desired temperature is being
maintained.
After the preheat, you can place foods into the wok and add
the tempered glass lid if necessary.
Do not use the steaming pan during the wok cooking.
7The different positions of the thermostat are given only for
a guide:
- Function "keep warm" : position 1-2
- Function "simmering" (gentle and fast): position 3-4
- Function "browning and frying" : position 5-maxi
Steaming pan cooking
8Place the thermostat in the max. position, add water to the
wok, place the steam pan with food and lid on top of the
wok.
Water must be in the wok base in order for the steaming pan
to cook your foods.
The steaming pan is very hot during cooking and shortly
after. Be sure to use oven mitts when using.

9Place the thermostat in the min. position before
unplugging.
10 Before cleaning, unplug steamwok from wall outlet and
allow to cool.
11 To avoid accidental burns, allow steamwok to cool
thoroughly before cleaning.
Then disconnect the electrical box.

12 The lid, the bowl , the steaming pan can be cleaned using a
sponge, hot water and dish soap.
Never use a metallic sponge or scouring powder as this could
damage the non-stick coating inside the bowl.
13 Do not immerse the electrical base and the power cord of
steamwok in water or any other liquid.
The electrical base with wok and the electrical box are not
dishwasher-safe.
The lid and the steaming pan are dishwasher-safe.
14 Always make sure steamwok is cold, clean and dry before
storing.
Store the appliance in a dry place.

The Warranty
This product is guaranteed by T-fal for 1 year against any manufacturing defect in materials or workmanship, starting from the initial date of purchase.
The manufacturer's warranty by T-fal is an extra benefit which does not affect consumer's Statutory Rights.
The T-fal warranty covers all costs related to restoring the proven defective product so that it conforms to its original specifications, through the
repair or replacement of any defective part and the necessary labor. At T-fal’s choice, a replacement product may be provided instead of repairing
a defective product. T-fal’s sole obligation and your exclusive resolution under this warranty are limited to such repair or replacement.
Conditions & Exclusions
The T-fal warranty only applies within USA, Canada & Mexico, and is valid only on presentation of a proof of purchase. The product can be taken
directly in person to an authorized service center or must be adequately packaged and returned, by recorded delivery (or equivalent method of
postage), to a T-fal authorized service center. Full address details for each country’s authorized service center are listed on the T-fal website
(www.t-fal.ca) or by calling the appropriate telephone number listed below to request the appropriate postal address.
T-fal shall not be obligated to repair or replace any product which is not accompanied by a valid proof of purchase.
This warranty will not cover any damage which could occur as a result of misuse, negligence, failure to follow T-fal instructions, use on current or
voltage other than as stamped on the product, or a modification or unauthorized repair of the product. It also does not cover normal tear and wear,
maintenance or replacement of consumable parts, and the following:
- using the wrong type of water or consumable
- scaling (any de-scaling must be carried out according
to the instructions for use);
- ingress of water, dust or insects into the product; damage due to
water, dust or insects entering the product.
- mechanical damages, overloading
- damages or bad results due to wrong voltage or frequency
- accidents including fire, flood, lightning, etc
- professional or commercial use
- damage to any glass or porcelain ware in the product
This warranty does not apply to any product that has been tampered with, or to damages incurred through improper use and care, faulty packaging
by the owner or mishandling by any carrier.
The T-fal manufacturer's warranty applies only for products purchased and used in USA, Canada & Mexico. Where a product purchased in one
country and then used in another one:
a) The T-fal guarantee duration is the one in the country of usage of the product, even if the product was purchased in another listed country with
different guarantee duration.
b) The T-fal guarantee does not apply in case of non conformity of the purchased product with the local standards, such as voltage, frequency,
power plugs, or other local technical specifications
c) The repair process for products purchased outside the country of use may require a longer time if the product is not locally sold by T-fal
d) In cases where the product is not repairable in the new country, the T-fal guarantee is limited to a replacement by a similar product or an alternative
product at similar cost, where possible.
Consumer Statutory Rights
This T-fal manufacturer's warranty does not affect the statutory rights a consumer may have or those rights that cannot be excluded or limited, nor
rights against the retailer from which the consumer purchased the product. This warranty gives a consumer specific legal rights, and the consumer

PRÉCAUTIONS IMPORTANTES
Lorsque vous utilisez des appareils électriques, veillez à prendre quelques précautions élémentaires,

Instructions concernant le cordon d'alimentation
L’appareil est muni d’un cordon d’alimentation court afin d’éviter qu'il ne s'emmêle ou que l’on
puisse trébucher dessus.
Il est possible d'utiliser une rallonge électrique, avec vigilance.
Si vous utilisez une rallonge :
1)
veillez à ce que le calibre indiqué sur le cordon soit au moins aussi élevé que les caractéris-
tiques électriques indiquées sur l'appareil;
2) Si l'appareil a une prise avec mise à la terre, la rallonge doit avoir un cordon de terre type3
3) le cordon et sa rallonge doivent être placés de façon à ne pas pendre d'un comptoir ou d'une
table afin d'éviter qu'ils ne soient accessibles à des enfants ou qu'ils ne fassent trébucher
ces derniers.
• Veillez à l'emplacement du cordon avec ou sans rallonge, prenez toutes les précautions néces-
saires afin de ne pas gêner la circulation des convives autour de la table de telle sorte que per-
sonne ne trébuche dessus.

1 - Avant le première utilisation
1Enlever tous les emballages, autocollants ou accessoires di-
vers à l’intérieur comme à l’extérieur de l’appareil.
Ne jamais mettre votre appareil directement sur un
support fragile (table en verre, nappe, meuble verni...)
ou sur une surface souple de type nappe plastique.
Pour éviter la surchauffe de l'appareil, ne pas le placer dans
un coin ou contre un mur.
2Lorsque vous l'utilisez pour la première fois, lavez le wok et
les accessoires avec une éponge, de l'eau chaude et du li-
quide vaisselle. Essuyer avec un chiffon doux ou du papier
absorbant. Verser un peu d'huile à l'intérieur du Wok, puis
essuyez avec un torchon de cuisine absorbant. Ne placez pas
la plaque de cuisson sous l'eau ou sur des surfaces fragiles
lorsque l'appareil est chaud.
Ne jamais utiliser de tampons à récurer métalliques ou des
poudres à récurer pour éviter endommager la surface de
cuisson
Positionner correctement le panier sur le wok et le couvercle
sur le panier.
Assurez-vous que le boîtier électrique soit complètement inséré
3Régler le boîtier électrique à la position min., connecter le
boîtier électrique sur la broche de l'appareil.
Si le boîtier électrique est mal positionné, le système de
sécurité interdit la mise en marche de l'appareil.
4Dérouler entièrement le cordon.
S'assurer que l’installation électrique est compatible avec la
puissance et la tension indiquées sous le boîtier électrique.
Ne pas utiliser d'autre boîtier électrique que celui qui vient
avec l'appareil.

5Brancher la fiche sur la prise murale avec terre.
Si une rallonge électrique est utilisée, prendre toutes les
mesures nécessaires pour qu'elle ne fasse trébucher
personne.
Si le cordon d'alimentation est endommagé, il doit être
remplacé par le fabricant, son service après vente ou des
personnes de qualifications similaires afin d'éviter un danger.
Le cordon d'alimentation doit être vérifié régulièrement pour
détecter tout signe de détérioration et, si le cordon est en-
dommagé, l'appareil ne doit pas être utilisé.
Lors de la première utilisation, il peut se produire un léger
dégagement d’odeur ou de fumée. Dans ce cas, ouvrir la
fenêtre jusqu'à dissipation de l'odeur ou de la fumée.
Cet appareil n’est pas destiné à être mis en marche au
moyen d’une minuterie extérieure ou par un système de
commande à distance.
Ne pas déplacer l'appareil pendant son utilisation.
Ne jamais utiliser l’appareil à vide.
Si vous souhaitez utiliser uniquement le wok, retirer le panier
vapeur.
Ne pas utiliser de feuille d'aluminium pour protéger l'appareil,
ne pas utiliser le wok pour d'autres usages.
Ne pas utiliser de fourchette, d'ustensiles en métal pour retirer
la nourriture collée sur le fond du wok afin d'éviter de rayer le
revêtement antiadhésif.
Ne pas couper directement les aliments sur le wok.
Ne pas poser d'ustensile de cuisson sur les surfaces de cuisson
de l'appareil.
Utiliser une spatule plastique ou en bois pour préparer vos
recettes.
Ne pas déplacer l’appareil rempli d'huile chaude.
Cet appareil n’est pas une friteuse. Il ne doit donc jamais être
utilisé pour faire cuire des frites, des beignes, etc.
S'assurer que les aliments à cuire sont bien égouttés.
Si vous utilisez des produits surgelés, s'assurer qu'ils sont parfai-
tement décongelés.
Ne pas laisser l'appareil sans surveillance pendant l'utilisation.

Cuisson au wok
6Pour cuire dans le wok, mettre un peu d'huile et régler le ther-
mostat à la température désirée.
Le voyant lumineux de préchauffage s'allume pour indiquer
que l'appareil chauffe.
Quand la rempérature voulue sera atteinte, le voyant de
préchauffage s'éteindra.
Le voyant lumineux de préchauffage s'allumera et s'éteindra
durant la cuisson pour indiquer que température désirée est
maintenue.
Après le préchauffage, mettre la nourriture dans le wok et
poser le couvercle en verre au besoin.
Ne pas utiliser le panier vapeur durant la cuisson au wok.
7Les différentes positions du thermostat sont données à titre
indicatif :
- Fonction "garde and chaud" : position 1-2
- Fonction "mijoter (doux et rapide)" : position 3-4
- Fonction "dorer et frire" : position 5-maxi
Cuisson au panier vapeur
8Régler le thermostat à la position maxi, ajouter de l'eau dans
le wok, mettre le panier vapeur, mettre la nourriture dans le
panier vapeur et poser le couvercle sur le panier.
Dans le panier vapeur, la nourriture ne cuira pas si toute l'eau
s'est évaporée.
Ne pas toucher ou déplacer le panier vapeur durant la cuis-
son car il est très chaud.

5 - Après l'usage

9Régler le thermostat à la position min. avant de débrancher
l'appareil.
10 Avant le nettoyage, débrancher le wok de la prise murale et
laissez-le refroidir.
11 Pour éviter tout risque de brûlure, laisser refroidir complètement
le wok avant de le nettoyer.
Ensuite, débrancher le boîtier électrique.

12 Le couvercle, la cuve, le panier vapeur se nettoient avec une
éponge, de l’eau chaude et du détergent à vaisselle.

récurer afin de ne pas endommager la surface de cuisson de
la cuve.
13 Ne pas plonger la base du wok dans l’eau ou tout autre
liquide.
Le panier et le couvercle peuvent aller au lave vaisselle. La
base électrique et le boîtier électrique ne vont pas au lave
vaisselle
14 Toujours s'assurer que le wok est propre et sec avant de le
ranger.
Ranger l’appareil dans un endroit froid, propre et sec.
