the right order of mower’s setting before work
For proper operatio of the KDC300 disc mower the correct way of setti g the machi e
to work a d duri g its operatio was determi ed. It guara tees the correct operatio of the
mower while mai tai i g high life-expecta cy of i dividual compo e ts, i cludi g: the
hydraulic cyli der, mai gearbox or the frame.
Correct order of work setting:
1. Raise the mower with the tractor arms while
the hydraulic cylinder is in retracted position.
2. Lower the machine using the hydraulic
cylinder only.
3. Fine-adjust the machine to the given height
using tractor arms.

The Instructi n Manual c nstitutes an inherent part f the machine!
Keep the I structio Ma ual i a safe place, where it should be accessible to the machi e
operator duri g a e tire lifespa of the machi e.
I the eve t of its loss or damage, the user must acquire a ew copy from the machi e dealer
or ma ufacturer.
I the eve t the machi e is sold or made available to a other user, the I structio Ma ual
must be attached with the declaratio of co formity for the machi e.
The ma ufacturer reserves its copyrights to the I structio Ma ual.
Make sure the first time you cha ge oil i the tra smissio a d bar is after
the first 50 h urs f operatio of the mower.
After that, cha ge oil every 500 h urs of operatio .
Each time you fi ish work, wash the cutter bar th r ughly with water
under pressure so as to preve t the ext start of the bar from bei g
blocked by dry mass stuck to it.
The machi e features a appropriately selected articulated telesc pic PTO
shaft. Usi g a differe t shaft will void the warra ty, pose a threat to both
the machi e a d the area, a d ca damage the mower.

Expiratio date of the warra ty period is specified i the WARRANTY CARD.

warra ty or ot. Special warra ty terms a d co ditio s are laid out i the WARRANTY CARD
attached to the ewly purchased machi e.

precautio ary measures to be take to mi imize or avoid risks.

Each mower is equipped with a sticker, which co tai s the most importa t ide tificatio data.
The sticker is located o the machi e i a easy-to-fi d a d read place. The data o the sticker
co firms the machi e's complia ce with the applicable safety regulatio s. For this reaso , the
sticker ca ot be reused or removed.

3. Rules of safe operation
3.1 User safety
The disc mower ca o ly be used by adults, who have lear t how to operate it a d have read
this I structio Ma ual, as well as have appropriate qualificatio s. Mowers should be ha dled
with all safety precautio s, a d i particular:
•Apart from this I structio Ma ual, observe also ge eral rules of health a d safety at
work.
•Observe war i g symbols placed o the machi e.
•It is strictly forbidde , to operate the machi e by perso s u der the i flue ce of alcohol
or other i toxica ts.
•Never allow, that the vehicle servici g the mower should be drive by a perso other
tha the mower operator, a d u der o circumsta ces allow a y other perso s to be o
the vehicle, or o the machi e, duri g its operatio .
•The mower may be operated by a perso who holds a proper drivi g lice ce for the
vehicle equipped with the mower, i accorda ce with the ma ufacturer's i structio s.
•The operator’s work statio while worki g with the mower is the cab of the vehicle
equipped with the machi e.
•Please ote, that there are ma y parts of the mower that may cause a i jury (sharp
edges, protrudi g parts, etc.). Duri g the use of the equipme t, exercise particular
cautio whe movi g close to the above-me tio ed critical spots, a d obligatorily use
the followi g perso al protectio equipme t:

- protective gloves,
- protective footwear
•It is forbidde to carry perso s or objects o the machi e.
•Perso s who have ot read the I structio Ma ual are ot allowed to operate the
machi e.
•The mower operator must be provided with the first aid kit complete with i structio s
of use.
•Whe drivi g a vehicle with the mou ted, but ot worki g, mower, e sure the safe
tra sport height of ~ 0,5m above the grou d.
•Before drivi g, switch the mower to the tra sport setti g a d use the fro t three-poi t
hitch to raise it. For parki g, the machi e must be lowered.
•For tra sport, the mower must be set to the tra sport positio a d raised by mea s of
the tractor's three-poi t hitch.
•Take special care whe drivi g o public roads, a d comply with the applicable road
traffic regulatio s.

•Whe drivi g o public roads, obligatorily use the electric marker lamps lighti g of the
vehicle, with prior check for its fu ctio ality, visibility a d clea li ess. A tria gular plate
which i dicate low-speed vehicles must be affixed to the equipme t. Make sure the
retroreflectors a d war i g sig s o the structural compo e ts of the machi e are
clea a d visible. Tur o the lamps a d war i g lighti g.
•Adjust the tra sport speed accordi g to the road surface co ditio s, without exceedi g
15 km/h.
•Do ot leave the vehicle with the mower o a hillside or o a other slopi g surface,
without securi g the vehicle from rolli g dow . The mower should be lowered to the
grou d. Put wedges u der the wheels of the vehicle.
•The mower must be adjusted to worki g height, duri g its attachme t to the vehicle.
The positio adjustme t of the equipme t duri g its operatio is possible from the
vehicle cab without the eed to leave the cab by the operator.
•A y preparatio s, fitti g, disma tli g or adjustme t ca be performed o ly after the
drive has bee switched off, the e gi e stopped, the vehicle immobilized a d whe all
the movi g parts of the machi e have stopped.
•After the first hour of operatio , check all disjoi t co ectio s like bolt co ectio s.
•The mower should be kept o a flat, level, paved surface, out of the reach of bysta ders
a d a imals. For stabilizi g the mower use the support foot.
•Duri g the assembly a d disassembly of the mower be careful, pay special atte tio to
the structural eleme ts respo sible for mou ti g to the vehicle.
•Before usi g the mower check its co ditio , as well as the vehicle it is attached to.
E sure the vehicle a d mower are i good tech ical co ditio . A y wor or damaged
parts must be replaced immediately.
•The mower must be equipped with all the safety guards (provided by the ma ufacturer),
preve ti g access to a y movi g parts. The guards must be complete a d fully
operatio al.
•Before you begi worki g with the mower, lear how to operate it by readi g this

•Weight of the mower suspe ded o a vehicle ca affect the vehicle’s ma oeuvrability.

•Secure the hitch assembly (three-poi t hitch) of the mower o ly by mea s of typical
cotter pi s. Do ot use other securi g methods.
•Follow the procedure laid out i Chapter 6 to carry out i spectio s of the co ditio a d

running mower.
•Before switchi g o the mower’s drive, lower the cutti g u it to its service positio .
•Mowi g may be started o ly after the PTO reaches its omi al speed of 1,000 rpm. Do
ot overload the PTO shaft or the mower, a d e gage the clutch ge tly.
•E sure suitable visibility whe u-tur i g, reversi g or ma oeuvri g the machi e, or
e sure assista ce from a properly trai ed perso .
•M wing during reversing the vehicle is n t all wed. Whe reversi g, the machi e must
be raised.

•Usi g a damaged or i complete joi ted telescopic shaft is prohibited. I particular, it is
stro gly forbidde to work without guards o movi g parts.
•The telescopic shaft e d to be co ected to the tractor is marked appropriately, but
before starti g operatio make sure that the directio of the shaft rotatio is correct.
•Never leave the vehicle u atte ded whe the e gi e is ru i g. Before leavi g the
driver's seat (the cab), lower the machi e to the grou d, tur off the e gi e of the
vehicle, remove the ig itio key, a d apply the ha dbrake.
•Avoid weari g u butto ed, ha gi g parts of work clothes duri g the operatio ,
assembly, disassembly or adjustme t. Keep them away from a y machi e parts which
are likely to catch them.
•After work, preferably clea a d wash the mower i a wash providi g sewage treatme t
or a settli g ta k for waste water eutralisatio .
•The machi e should be kept a d stored a o a flat, harde ed surface, u der a
protective ca opy i places protected from u authorized access of perso s a d a imals,
thus elimi ati g the risk of accide tal i juries.
•I case of failure, immediately tur off the drive tra smitted from the vehicle.
• Whe worki g with the mower, use heari g protectio headpho es to mi imize your exposure
to oise. I additio , it is recomme ded to close the doors a d wi dows of the vehicle’s
cab.
Failure to observe the above guideli es may be hazardous to the operator a d
other perso s, as well as damage the mower. The operator is respo sible for a y
damage caused by failure to adhere to the above rules.

. Intended use of the machine
The disc mower is desig ed for mowi g all low stem gree pla ts i meadows a d fields n
even and unst ned areas.
A fro t disc mower is ot resista t to st ne impact. If the work is carried
out o a sto y tillage area, this ca result i the freque t replacement f
blades and discs. I extreme cases, the cutting bar can be damaged, which
is ot covered by the warra ty.
This machi e allows you to sig ifica tly accelerate agricultural work through high mowi g
performa ce a d eve distributio of swaths. Such swath arra geme t accelerates dryi g a d
elimi ates additio al measures, such as spreadi g the swath after mowi g.
The mower is a category II fro t-mou ted three-poi t hitch machi e of a tractor with a
mi imum output of 80 HP. The drive is provided by a articulated telescopic shaft a d the
hydraulic system with a actuator which sets the positio of the mower duri g operatio .
Rotati g discs fitted with blades are the service parts. This u it is drive by the telescopic
articulated PTO shaft, through a ce tral gear, the through the telescopic articulated shaft to a
bevel gear, a d from the bevel gear through a coupli g to the cutti g bar. The cutti g bar
co tai s a gear u it that tra sfers the drive to the disks.
Complyi g with the requireme ts for the use of the machi e, its operatio a d repairs strictly
accordi g to the ma ufacturer's guideli es is the co ditio for the use of machi e as i te ded.
The machi e should be used, operated a d repaired o ly by perso s familiar with its specific
characteristics, who have lear t the rules of co duct prescribed by the occupatio al health a d
safety regulatio s.
The ma ufacturer offers a wide ra ge of agricultural machi ery. It ca also provide professio al
advice i terms of choosi g the right equipme t for your eeds.

5. Description of the machine

The disc mower co sists of three mai compo e ts. The first compo e t is the m wer's
suspensi n system (1), made of welded steel parts to form a rigid a d robust structure. The
seco d compo e t is the l ad-bearing frame (2), made of welded steel parts, which is
co ected with the suspe sio system by a articulated coupli g. The third compo e t is the
cutting unit (3) made of bolted a d welded steel parts to form a rigid structure. The cutter bar
a d gears are fitted with safety guards. The machi e is equipped with adjustable swathi g discs
for swath formatio duri g work.
The machi e's service setti gs are co trolled from the operator's cab via the power hydraulics.
This allows a very precise positio i g of the machi e duri g operatio .
Use certified sli gs or chai s accordi g to the weight of the machi e. Pay special
atte tio to the secure attachme t of the sli gs to the machi e a d to the
tra sport vehicle. Whe tra sporti g or loadi g with hoisti g equipme t, it is
importa t to remember about the tra sport protective measures. Make sure
that you lower the parki g sta d a d secure it with a cotter pi .

5.1. Equipment and accessories
5.1.1. Basic equipment

The cutter is ot supplied with a portable war i g light or a tria gular slow vehicle
war i g sig . These eleme ts ca be purchased separately from the
ma ufacturer or i a farmi g equipme t depot. Each user of the machi e should
have a fully fu ctio al tria gular slow vehicle war i g sig . Failure to i stall
these eleme ts duri g tra sport may result i a accide t. The machi e user is respo sible for
the damage resulti g from the accide t.

6. Machine operation
The ma ufacturer guara tees that the machi e is fully operatio al a d has bee checked i
accorda ce with quality co trol procedures a d approved for use. However, this does ot
relieve the user from the obligatio to i spect the machi e after its delivery.
Each time the machine is t be used, check its technical c nditi n, especially f r the
c nditi n f cutting unit, drive transmissi n system, hydraulic system and guarding
shields.
6.1. Coupling – mounting the mower
Make sure that the co ecti g parts of both, the vehicle a d the machi e, are suitably
adjusted to each other.
I case of a y doubt, always ask the vehicle or the machi e ma ufacturer.
I. I stallatio of the suspe sio system of the vehicle a d the machi e.
The machi e is mou ted o a three-poi t hitch suspe sio system of the tractor. For easier
coupli g, set the bottom tie-rods, (2) i Fig. 4, to the height of ca. 350mm.

After the machi e has bee hitched, lift a d secure the parki g sta d (3), co ect the coupli g (1)
i Fig. 4 a d adjust its le gth so it forms a a gle of 4÷5˚ i relatio to the grou d. Decreasi g the
a gle raises the mowi g height. Care must be take to e sure that the origi al safety devices are i
place. Each time the mower is mou ted o the vehicle, check the co ecti g eleme ts, i.e. pi s a d
plugs, for wear. I case of weari g out replace them with ew o es.
II. I stallatio of the machi e’s drive shaft.
After mou ti g the machi e o the three-poi t hitch suspe sio system, mou t the joi ted
telescopic drive shaft o to the PTO (4) of the tractor a d the power i put shaft of the machi e a d
lift the support to the upper positio .
For the mower drive, use o ly origi al articulated telescopic shaft with the CE marked
frictio clutch a d co e guards for PTO (take-off) a d PTO (take-o ) shafts. Check if the
latches are securely clamped after slidi g the articulated telescopic shaft caps o to the
PTO (take-off) a d PTO (take-o ) shafts co es. For power hydraulics, use suitable a d
tight hoses with matchi g coupli gs.
III. I stalli g power hydraulic system
The mower features o e hydraulic co trol system. The mower is equipped with a stub pipe to be
co ected to the supply system of the tractor with a co ectio pipe (5). Make sure the li es are
routed correctly a d the hydraulic co ectio s are clea . Before co ecti g, make sure that the
system is ot u der pressure. E sure that the type of oils used i the tractor's a d machi e's
systems is the same.
To dismou t the machi e, follow the above i structio s i a reverse order, exercise
particular cautio whe disco ecti g the mecha ical system betwee the machi e a d
the vehicle. Before u coupli g the mower from the tractor's suspe sio system, lock
the carryi g arm i the parked positio . After unc upling the machine fr m a
vehicle, it must be disassembled and st red under shelter n a flat and hard
surface, n its parking supp rt.
