3. Intended use of the machine
Rotational mower is designed to work in agriculture, mowing low-stem greens (alfalfa grass, etc.) in
crop fields and meadows with levelled surface.
To work with the mower 1,35 m Mini Mini a tractor should be used, class 3 with the pulling force of
4 kN. Mowers are adjusted to the three-point linkage (linkage) cat. I.
Using the machine in other circumstances will be construed as inconsistent with the intended use.
Strict compliance with the requirements for the use of the machine and operation and maintenance
as recommended by the manufacturer is a prerequisite for use as intended.
The machine should be operated, serviced and repaired by people familiar with its specific
characteristics and acquainted with the rules of conduct in terms of occupational safety.
Accident prevention regulations and all basic rules of safety and hygiene, as well as traffic regulations
must always be observed.
Unauthorised changes in design of the machine without permission of the manufacturer waive
manufacturer's liability arising due to any resulting damage or injury.
4. Rules of safe operation
The mower may only be operated by adults who are familiar with its operation
and the contents of this instruction manual and have appropriate qualifications. The mower should

The mower may be operated by a person with the licence to drive
the vehicle to which it is mounted, according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Workstation of the operator during operation of the mower is the cabin of the vehicle, which
the machine was attached to.
Please note that on the mower there are many places that could cause injury (sharp edges,
protruding structural elements, etc.). During the operation an increased caution should be
kept when moving near the said critical places and the following personal protective
equipment must be used:
- protective clothing,
- protective gloves,
- safety shoes.
It is forbidden to carry persons or objects on the machine.

Employee operating the mower should be provided with first-aid kit, containing measures for
first aid, along with instructions for their use.
When moving the vehicle with a mower mounted but not working, ensure a safe transport
height ~ 0.3 m.
Take special care during travel on public roads, and adapt to the existing traffic regulations.
On the machine or on the rear of the vehicle a triangular plate must be fitted, distinguishing
low-speed vehicles. Care should be taken about clarity and visibility of the reflective lighting
and warning signs located on the structural elements of the machine.
Transport speed must be adopted to the condition of the road surface, it should not exceed

Working on slopes exceeding 10⁰ is unacceptable.
The mower should be adjusted to work during assembly to the vehicle. During you work
correction of settings, which is possible from the cabin, is allowed without leaving the cabin
by the vehicle operator.
Activities related to preparation, assembly, disassembly or adjustment can be performed
after switching off the drive, stopping the engine, immobilizing the vehicle and waiting until
all moving parts in the machine stop.
After the first hour of operation, check all disjoint connections, i.a. screw connections.
Store the mower on a flat, levelled, paved surface out of the reach of unauthorized persons
and animals.
During the assembly and disassembly of the mower be careful, pay special attention to the

Figure 1. Basic components of the machine.
Frame of the suspension system (Fig.1 item 1) is used to connect the mower to the tractor. The
cutting unit consists of two working drums and discs (Fig.1 items 2 and 6) with blades rotationally
embedded in their lower part. In the working position working drums and discs rest on the sliding
discs (Fig.1 item 5) that allow copying the ground irregularities.
Covers (Figure 1 item 3) and protective apron (Fig.1 item 4) protect the machine operator and
bystanders against hard objects that can be thrown at a high speed by working drums and discs (Fig.1
items 2 and 6).
Working drums and discs are driven by the PTO of the tractor, together with the blades rotating in
opposite directions, causing shearing of plants and moulding of the green in the form of remains.
Uni-directional clutch allows free rotation of the working drums and discs after the engine is turned
off and protects the drive components from damage.

8. Maintenance service
To work associated with the use of the mower can be commenced only after carefully reading the
instructions manual.
Prior to joining the rotational mower with the prescribed tractors they must be properly prepared:
Check the technical condition of the machine and perform daily maintenance according to the tractor
instructions manual.
Fold or remove the connecting elements and the hitch of the tractor, which may hamper co-
operation or cause a collision with the jointed telescopic shaft (JTS).
WARNING!
Disassembly of the above-mentioned components protects against possible
damage to the jointed telescopic shaft by lowering the suspension system
when to the lower end position.
• Mount the power-take-off (PTO) of the tractor.
• Recommended tractors must be equipped with standard weights of the
front axle.
CAUTION!
Using tractor other than recommended to work with the mower (e.g. with
a lower thrust) or without the required weights of the front axle may lead
to loss of control of the front wheels of the tractor.

2. Holes in the suspension yoke. 3. Plug.
Be careful when connecting the machine to the tractor.
In order to connect the mower to the tractor:
1. On the plugs (Fig. 3 item 1) of the suspension frame put lower links of the tractor (first left then
the right) and secure with cotters (Fig. 3 item 3).
It is unacceptable to:
• allow people staying between the tractor and the machine when reversing
the machine.
• connect the machine with the running tractor engine and key not removed
from the ignition.
• use components other than those recommended by the manufacturer of
the machine and tractor to secure the connection.

2. Place the end of the top link between the yoke plate using the holes, and then connect with the
pin and secure with a cotter. (Figure 3 item 2).
8.2. Mounting the PTO shaft
To drive a rotational mower use a jointed telescopic shaft with uni-directional clutch efficient and
equipped with a cover, holding a safety sign or CE mark and technical parameters that comply with
those specified in the technical characteristics.
When using a shaft with a half-covered guard additional guards are required from the tractor PTO
and the machine JTS. Machine JTS cover is installed by the manufacturer of the mower.
When mounting the jointed telescopic shaft remember to place the outer cover of the tube was on
the tractor side.
Figure 4 Jointed telescopic shaft.
In order to mount the shaft:
Lower the mower on the ground, switch off the engine and remove the key from the ignition.
Slide the tip of the shaft yokes on the machine JTS and tractor PTO and secure against
slipping by means of clips.
Check whether the latches secure ends of the shaft from slipping out during operation.
The use of jointed telescopic shaft with parameters other than those
recommended by the manufacturer of the machine can lead to overload,
damage or tweak of its two parts during raising the machine and pose
a threat to the operators and the environment.

Attach chains of the shaft guards, one to the tractor PTO cover and the other to the cover of
mower JTS.
8.3. Installation of the mower
The manufacturer delivers the mower with an unmounted cover of the cutting unit.
The assembly of covers must be installed by the purchaser of the mower.
The cover must be installed as follows:
Tighten the screws M10x25 (Fig. 10 item 1) to the main frame.
Screw the canvas with screws M6x16 to the cover of the cutting unit (Fig. 10 item 2).
WARNING!
The use of damaged jointed telescopic shaft, without cover or with damaged
cover and without additional shielding from the tractor PTO and the machine
JTS poses an immediate risk of accidents.
Working with mower without the assembled cover of the cutting assembly
or with a damaged cover or raised apron poses a threat to the operators
and the environment.

8.4. Setting the mower in working position
Before starting work:
Set the mower levelled to the ground
At the time of lowering the mower in horizontal position maintain particular caution.
Pay attention to the free space to perform the operations.
Lower the mower so that it is based on sliding plates.
Jointed telescopic shaft may be connected to the tractor only when the mower is used, for transport
(to the field and back) as well as by the maintenance the shaft must be removed.
Correct placement of the mower in working position provides a secure,
high quality and efficient work.
