must be a smart cookie, so please excuse the formality of introducing some very
necessary safeguards before we get underway.
WELCOME TO A NEW ERA OF CLEANLINESS

When using electrical devices, basic safety
precautions should always be followed
Be safe and DO NOT reach for an Cleaning Station
that has fallen into water.
First unplug immediately, then gather the Cleaning
Station and wait until fully dry before activating.
Never force the Cleaning Station plug into an outlet.
If it does not easily fit into the outlet, discontinue
use and return to your vend or TAO Clean for service.
Please DO NOT plug the Cleaning Station into an
outlet with a voltage or frequency other than
specified on the charger. Please be aware voltage
converters DO NOT guarantee voltage compatibility.
So be vigilant and most of all ... be safe.
Now this seems obvious, never use the Cleaning
Station charger if it has a damaged cord or plug
adaptor. Please keep the cord away from heated
surfaces and do not use the power adaptor if
dropped in water.
Only use the Power Adaptor & Cable power supply
provided with the Cleaning Station. No exceptions.
Thank you.

When our design council first gathered within the marbled halls of TAO
Clean, situated high atop Mt. Cleanliness, it was decreed that every object
we create must deliver a wonderful user experience from start to finish. It
was also decreed that all our life tools must be built on outstanding aesthetic
design and be both easy to adopt and seamlessly entwined with your daily
routine. These words have been our mantra to deliver you the TAO Clean
System Experience. Now, in order to get the best of this intention, please
be aware of the following:
This TAO Clean brush is designed to clean your skin only.
Please keep it away from the eye area and rinse thoroughly if you
accidentally get product in your eye.
Use this device only for its intended use. This may seem super obvious,
however some people have an insatiable curiosity.
Please discontinue use of the TAO Clean System if you experience discomfort
or pain. The TAO Clean System is your partner for helping you achieve
optimum cleanliness in the safest way possible.
In fact your TAO Clean System took a vow never to willfully hurt you before
it was carefully nestled into its delivery crib.
It would never want to hurt you. Ever.
If you are under a doctor’s care for any skin condition or if you think you may have
a skin condition, please consult your physician before using the TAO Clean Facial
Brush. Some skin sensitivity may develop as a result of your skin adjusting to the
TAO Clean Facial Brush’s deep cleaning action.
If redness appears it might be caused by pressing too hard. Please look at page 19
for brushing tips and page 20 for brushing technique.
Your TAO Clean Facial Brush has been designed to enhance the cleaning power
of your favorite cleanser. If this is your first time using a motorized facial brush we
recommend that you start with the brush head that has been optimized for gentle
daily use.
Do not use the TAO Clean Facial Brush with jagged exfoliating particles such as
shells, metals or ceramics. We recommend soft, rounded exfoliating particles with
your TAO Clean Facial Brush heads.
Using the TAO Clean Facial Brush to remove makeup may stain the bristles, but
will not affect performance. If discoloration occurs, clean the Brush Head with
soap and water.
Please don’t take this personal as your TAO Clean Facial Brush was designed to be
personal - we do not recommend that you share Brush Heads.
We want to keep you clean. We want to keep you healthy.
Most importantly we want to keep you that way.
0706
So you can take it for a spin right
away, your TAO Clean Facial Brush
should have enough charge to use at
least once. Afterwards you will need
to charge the battery.
Note: The battery needs 24 hours
to fully charge the first time.
This could never be simpler (unless
you’ve ignored connecting the power
to the Cleaning Station).
Just place the Brush Handle in the
plugged-in Cleaning Station and it
will automatically start to charge.
Placing your Brush Handle in
the plugged-in Cleaning Station will
immediately start the cleaning cycle
(see page 1o) and at the same time
start the charging process. After the
Cleaning process has finished
(approximately 5 minutes) the
08
badge light will change from
blue to white. It is now feeding the
Brush with all that clean electricity.
Yum.
Keeping the Brush Handle on its
Cleaning Station not only ensures
the Brush Head is protected in a nice
clean environment, it will also keep it
fully charged and ready for use.
If possible, try to keep your Facial
Brush on the Station when not in use.
09
Carefully open the delivery crib for your TAO Clean System. There it is -
nestled inside asleep and ready for awakening. It’s probably dreaming
about you at this very moment and looking forward to meeting its partner.
Let’s check and make sure you have everything.

TAO Clean System check list:
Killing 99.9% of germs is futile if the
Brush is kept wet.
That 0.1% that remains has a nasty
habit of making a comeback.
To combat this, the Cleaning Station
has a dryer that drives water from
the Brush.
In fact the Cleaning Station dries the
toothbrush up to six times faster than
regular UV sanitizer chambers.

Our clever design of the Cleaning
Station protects and encloses the
TAO Clean Facial Brush from
environmental pollutants.
Cleaning the Brush takes place within
the Cleaning Station core. Here lives
the magical circular light. The circu-
lar UV-C lamp central to the cleaning
and sanitizing cycle. The intense 360
degree light source gives germs no-
where to hide. If you must know, the
lamp’s UV-C rays destroy the DNA
of pathogens keeping your brush
from turning into some ugly biology
experiment.
Just drop the Brush in the Cleaning
Station and let it do its thing.
As the cleaning cycle begins the
LED light will change from white
to blue and slowly pulse like a mini
germ-killing reactor…
After the cycle is finished the LED
light will change back to white.
Select your Brush Head type.
Connect the to the Brush Handle.
Locate hole on stem and ...
...gently and firmly lock into place
12
Replace Brush Heads every 3 months
to achieve the best results or change
before if you feel you need to.
Some people like it that way.
Use only official TAO Clean
replacement Brush Heads.
Fakes won’t get the job done.
Time to feed your Cleaning
Station and wake it up to
perform functions. Carefully
plug the power adaptor into the
small socket located below the
waistline at the back of the
Cleaning Station.
Use the correct orientation of
the plug into the socket.
Now you are ready to plug the
adaptor into an electrical outlet.
13
Brush Replacement
To ensure your Cleaning
Station performs its tasks
perfectly, please make sure
your Station is placed on a
clean, flat horizontal surface.
...definitely NO
YES! YES!
Gently place your Brush into the
Cleaning Station. The Brush fits to the
Station perfectly. Take care in locating
the Brush so that it drops into the
Station effortlessly.
Take care in locating the brush so that
it drops into the base effortlessly.
14 15
The low battery alert is a beacon of distress for your TAO Clean Brush.
The LED alert only triggers and pulses when the battery is low. Think of it as
“Please feed me”. If this occurs place the Brush straight back into the Cleaning
Station. Give it a few moments and everything will be ok.
If the Brush continues to pulsate while in the Cleaning Station,
please check to see if the power is connected.

First choose the correct Brush Type.
Wet the bristles of your TAO Clean
Brush and apply a small amount of
your favorite cleanser.
Within the center of the brush head
is a small “product well”. Use this
to hold and measure the amount of
product you wish to use.
Hint: Using the ‘product well’ to
measure product equally each day
is a useful way to keep track of
product use.
The trick is not to over do it.
Your TAO Clean Facial Brush will
whip up a small amount of your
favorite cleanser into fine lather in
no time.
TAO Clean makes a variety of

The ergonomic Brush Handle is
designed for your comfort and to
be gripped like a baseball.
Hold it firmly but always gently on
your face.
Now gently place the Facial Brush
bristles against the face, flat on the
skin. Never press hard or force the
bristles into your skin.
Press the power button and fire up
the engine of the brush. Sounds
great doesn’t it.
There are very delicate areas around
the face. Try to avoid the eye and
eyelid area. Soap in your eyes can
be a painful experience so avoid it
please. If you get cleanser there,
Stop the brush and rinse immediately.
Allow the spinning movement of
the brush and bristles do all the hard
work. Trust your Brush. It will do all
the brushing for you.
Remove the Brush from
the Cleaning Station.
Apply product (see previous
page). Press the power
button and select your mode.
Your TAO Clean Brush Handle has two
cleaning modes. Super Clean Mode
& Sensitive Clean Mode. Super Clean
Mode is our standard for cleaning skin.
Sensitive Clean Mode can be accessed at
a touch of a button. Sensitive Clean Mode
offers a gentle, yet thorough cleaning
experience for sensitive skin.
Move the Brush in a sweeping
motion, carefully gliding across the
skin area allowing the Brush to do the
cleaning.
