STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS

Wait until your
internet installation/
activation date and
time, then follow the
steps below:

STEP STEP
Connect your Coaxial Cable to the Modem
• Locate the coaxial cable in your home
(connected to the cable outlet).
• Connect it to the cable port.
(located on the back of the modem), using
3 clockwise rotations or until securely fastened.
Power on your Modem
• Plug the modem power adapter into the back of the modem.
• Connect the other end into the nearest power outlet.
• If the modem is equipped with a power button, please press
the button to power on the device.
• If the modem is not equipped with a power button, the modem
should be powered on.
• The “Power” LED on the front of the modem should be green.

STEP
Conrm Modem is Online
• Wait until the “Online” LED is solid green.
• This may take up to 10 minutes.
Note: If the DS and US LEDs
are both blinking at the same time,
your modem is updating its software.
Wait until the update completes.
Note:
You must have
a Wi-Fi router if you want
to set up a wireless
network in your home.

Connecting your Wi-Fi Router
Wi-Fi Router
• Connect one end of the ethernet cable to the
Ethernet port labeled “1.” DO NOT use the port
labeled “2,” as your internet connection is supplied
through port 1.
Your Wi-Fi router should now be connected
to the Internet!
• Connect the other end of the ethernet cable to your
Wi-Fi Router.
• Reference your router’s manufacturer guide to
complete the setup.
OTHER DEVICES
If you purchased Flash Home Phone service, refer to the manual included
with your Phone Adapter to complete the setup.
