•Do not use this product to cook or defrost frozen foods. All foods must be
completely thawed before cooking with this appliance.
•Close the unit and connect it to the mains.
Note : The power indicator lights in orange.
•Leave the appliance closed during its heating time.
Note : Remember to insert the grease receiver at the back, under the device.
•To open the device, press the right end of the locking latch to unlock the
product and pull the handle up.
Caution : The heating plates and metal surfaces of the appliance become
extremely hot during use.
To avoid the risk of burns, wear resistant gloves, and touch only the
handle.
•After about five minutes, the "Ready" light will turn green to indicate that the
product is ready for use.
Note : The heating indicator lights up and goes out at regular intervals to maintain
the correct cooking temperature.
•Place food on the bottom plate, using wooden or heat-resistant plastic utensils.
Note : Do not use metal utensils, they could damage the non-stick coating of the
plates.
•Use the handle to lower the upper plate and which poses on the top of the food.
Notes : The cooking time depends on the type and thickness of the food.
If other foods are to be cooked, leave the plates closed to retain heat.
•When food is cooked as desired, lift the handle and remove it from the plate.
•After use, unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet.
•Wait for the appliance to cool completely, to clean it.
•Lock the unit in the closed position before storing.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
•Before cleaning, always: switch off the appliance, disconnect the apparatus and
let it cool.
•Clean the outside of the apparatus with a sponge or slightly wet linen.
•The parts (removable) in contact with food like plate, bowl, forks, Spatula etc.
can be washed in hot water with sponge and soft detergent or put in the
dishwasher.
•Never plunge the apparatus in water or all other liquid!
•Do not use abrasive cleaners, gritting, or metal brush or another cutting object.
•Wipe the inside and edges of the heating plate with absorbent paper towel or a
soft cloth.
