Instru tions for the installer
The following instru tions are aimed at the qualified installer, to ensure that he arries out the
installation, adjustment and maintenan e operations as orre tly as possible and a ording to
urrent legal regulations. Any operation must be performed with ele tri al power ut to the
applian e.
Before using the applian e, arefully remove the spe ial adhesive film prote ting the parts in
stainless steel. Do not leave any glue residues on the surfa es. If ne essary, remove them at
on e, with an appropriate solvent.
Fitting the feet
Fitting the feetFitting the feet
Fitting the feet - The feet are inside the applian e and must be se ured on the four threaded
holes on the base. If ne essary, the height of the feet an be adjusted by s rewing or
uns rewing.

tioning - Position the applian e perfe tly horizontally on a table or similar support (the table
or support must be at least 85 m above the floor). On e you have put the ma hine, it should
not ex eed height of 1.60 meter from the floor; position it at a distan e of not less than 10 m
from the side and rear walls, to enable natural ventilating air to ir ulate freely around it. The
applian e is ventilated through spe ifi openings on the metal walls of the outer housing , and
ensures effi ien y and long-life. For this reason it is stri tly forbidden to obstru t these
ventilation openings, even partially or for short periods. Failure to observe this spe ifi

Ele tri al onne tion - The applian e must be onne ted to the ele tri al mains a ording to
urrent legal regulations. Before making the onne tion, make sure of the following:
-the voltage and frequen y values of the power supply system mat h the values on the
"te hni al data" plate affixed on the applian e;
-the limiting valve and the system are able to support the applian e's load (see the
"te hni al data" plate);

Conne tion to the water mains
mainsmains
mains (MODD. EKF 423 U) - The applian e must be fed with softened
drinking water, with hardness from 0.5°F to 3°F (it is obligatory to use a softener to redu e the
formation of lime inside the ooking hamber) and pressure in the range from 100 to 200 kPa
(1.0 - 2.0 bar).
Conne tion to the water mains should be made through the threaded 3/4" solenoid-valve on
the rear (on the bottom) of the applian e, fitting in between a me hani al filter and an on/off
tap (before you onne t the filter, allow a ertain quantity of water to flow out in order to drain
any waste from the pipe).
