Unpacking Your Wine Cellar

1. Remove all packaging material. This includes the foam base and
all adhesive tape holding the wine cellar accessories inside and
outside.
2. Inspect and remove any remains of packing, tape or printed
materials before powering on the wine cellar.
Leveling Your Wine Cellar

Electrical Requirement

Avoid the use of plug adapters or cutting off the third
in order to accommodate a two plug outlet. This
is a dangerous practice since it provides no effective earth or grou-
nding the wine cellar and may result in shock hazard.
Install Limitations

Do not install your wine cellar in any location not properly insulated
or heated e.g. garage etc. Your wine cellar was not designed to
operate in ambient temperature below 16°C.
Select a suitable location for the wine cellar on a hard even surface
away from direct sunlight or heat source e.g. radiators, under floor
heaters, cooking appliances etc. Any floor unevenness should

orrected with the leveling feet located on
bottom corners of the wine cellar.
Your wine cellar is designed for free-standing installation only. It is

Wine Cellar Features

Initial Setup

Once you
●
have plugged the unit into an electrical outlet, let the unit
run for at least 30 minutes to acclimatize itself before making any
adjustments.
Temperature Adjustments:
●

The temperature of wine cellar is preset to 12 °C (54 °F) from the
factory.
The wine cellar can be set to any temperature between 5
°C (41 °F) and 20 °C (68 °F) in either the compartments to
accommodate your wine storage requirements. To set the
temperature hold the " " button for about 3 seconds. You
will notice the temperature display blink. Press the " " or
"—" button to increase or decrease the temperature setting.
Once the desired temperature is attained, press the " " button or
stop operation about 5 seconds, panel will memorize the setting. The
temperature display will revert back to display the inside temperature.
It may take some time to reach the set temperature.
Press the " " button about 3 seconds to transform "°C" and "°F"
(the temperature display model) each other.

The wine cellar is preset from the factory to automatically
accommodate temperature requirements for red or white wines.
If you store mostly white wines, press the " " button
and the wine cellar will maintain an average temperature between
7° to 10 °C. Pushing the " " button will yield an average
temperature between 13 °C to 16 °C.
The wine cellar can be set to any temperature you desire to
accommodate your wine storage requirements. To set the
temperature, press both the " " and " " buttons
simultaneously and hold for approximately 3 seconds. Now you are
in temperature set mode. Decrease the temperature by pushing
the
●
" " button and increase the temperature by pressing
the " " button. Pressing the appropriate button 3 times will
adjust the temperature 3 degrees, press 4 times equals 4 degrees,
5 times equals 5 degrees, and so on. Once you have selected the
temperature you desire, push the " " button. Now the wine
cellar is programmed and the LED readout will return to current
internal temperature reading.
Note:

You can add water to the tray to increase the humidity inside
the wine cellar. Some degree of humidity is required in order to keep
wines with corks from drying out. Even when wine bottles are stored
on their sides, one end of the cork is still exposed to air. If the cork
begins to dry out, it can allow oxygen to enter the bottle, filling the u-
llage space and possibly causin
●
g the wine to spoil or oxidize. Exces-
sive humidity can also pose the risk of damaging wine labels, which
may hinder identification or hurt potential resale value.

Shelving
The shelves are designed for appearance and easy cleaning.
Larger bottles or Magnums can be more easily accommodated at
the cross shelves at the bottom of the cellar.
There are some shelves for easy storage and removal of your
wine.
Interior Light
To complement the look of your wine collection, a light has been
built into the wine cellar. Simply push the " " or " " button
and the light comes on, push again for off. For maximum energy
ef ciency, leave light off when not viewing your collection.
When door is open the light will go on. Upon closing the door, the
light will go off.
Normal Operating Sound

Boiling water, gurgling sounds or slight vibrations that are the
result of the refrigerant circulating through the cooling coils.
The thermostat control will click when it cycles on and off.

To avoid electric shock always unplug your wine cellar
before cleaning. Ignoring this warning may result in
death or injury.
Before using cleaning products, always read and follow
manufacturer's instructions and warnings to avoid
personal injury or product damage.
Prepare a cleaning solution of 3-4 tablespoons of
baking soda mixed with warm water. Use sponge or
soft cloth, dampened with the cleaning solution, to
wipe down your wine cellar.
Rinse with clean warm water and dry with a soft cloth.
Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasives, ammonia,
chlorine
●
bleach, concentrated detergents, solvents or
metal scouring pads. Some of these chemicals may
dissolve, damage and/or discolor your wine cellar.
Clean door gaskets every three months according to
general instructions. Gaskets must be kept clean and
pliable to assure a proper seal.
Petroleum jelly applied lightly on the hinge side of
gaskets will keep the gasket pliable and assure a
good seal.
Power Interruptions
Occasional ly the r e may be power in t erruption s due to
thunderstorms or other causes. Remove the power cord from

tlet when a power outage occurs. When power has been
restored, replug power cord to AC outlet.
Vacation and Moving Care

vacations or absences, unplug the wine cellar and clean
the wine cellar and door gaskets according to "General cleaning"

ection. Leave doors open, so air can circulate inside.
When

moving always move the wine cellar vertically. Do not move
with the unit lying down, as possible damage to the sealed system
could occur.

2.Esta garrafeira deve ser devidamente instalada, de acordo com as instruções
de instalação fornecidas, antes de ser utilizada. Consulte as instruções de
ligação à terra na seção de instalação deste manual.
3. A garrafeira destina-se, estritamente, para uso doméstico. Se a usar para fins
industriais ou comerciais certifique-se de que consulta os regulamentos e leis
nacionais referentes. Este aparelho não se destina a ser utilizado por crianças e/
ou pessoas
com capacidades físicas, sensoriais ou mentais reduzidas, ou com falta de

Desembalar a Garrafeira
1. Retirar todo o material de embalamento, por dentro e por fora da garrafeira. Inclui a
base de espuma e toda a fita adesiva que suporta os acessórios do aparelho.
2. Verifique e remova quaisquer restos de embalamento, fita adesiva ou
materiais impressos da garrafeira, antes de a instalar.
Nivelar a Garrafeira
A garrafeira tem pés niveláveis, que estão localizados nos cantos dianteiro e
traseiro. Após colocar a garrafeira na sua posição final pode nivelá-la.
Os pés niveláveis podem ser ajustados, girando-os no sentido dos ponteiros
do relógio para levantar a garrafeira, ou girando-os no sentido contrário aos
ponteiros do relógio, para a baixar. A porta da garrafeira fechará mais
facilmente sempre que os pés estiverem estendidos.
Circulação de Ar Adequada
Para garantir que sua garrafeira funciona com a máxima eficiência,
deve instalá-la num local onde haja livre circulação de ar, canalização
e conexões elétricas adequadas.
As seguintes medidas representam o espaço livre recomendado à volta da garrafeira:

Para que o sistema de refrigeração funcione convenientemente, não sobrecarregue a
garrafeira.
Nota: Se a garrafeira estiver inclinada, por qualquer motivo, aguarde 24 horas
antes de a ligar.
Instalação da Garrafeira
13.Este aparelho destina-se a ser utilizado em aplicações domésticas e similares,
tais como:
- áreas de cozinha do pessoal em lojas, escritórios e outros ambientes de trabalho;
- casas de turismo rural, hotéis, motéis e outros ambientes residenciais;
- estabelecimentos do tipo cama e pequeno-almoço;
- catering e aplicações similares não retalhistas.
14.Se quiser substituir a luz da RV 250 B, por favor, siga as seguintes diretrizes: retire
o abajur; substitua a lâmpada por uma com a mesma especificação; volte a colocar
o abajur.
No caso da RV 500 B, por favor, não faça qualquer substituição sozinho. Se a luz
estiver danificada opere sempre de acordo com o ponto 10.

Requisitos Elétricos
Certifique-se de que existe uma tomada eléctrica adequada (AC 220-240V -
tomada de 15 amperes) com respectiva ligação à terra para alimentar a garrafeira.
Evite o uso de adaptadores ou cortar o terceiro pino da ficha para que a mesma
fique com dois pinos. Esta é uma prática perigosa, uma vez que não fornece
qualquer ligação à terra para a garrafeira, e pode resultar em choque elétrico.
Limitações da Instalação
Não instale a garrafeira em espaços que não estejam devidamente isolados
ou aquecidos, por exemplo, a garagem. A garrafeira não foi projetada para
funcionar em ambientes com temperaturas abaixo dos 16 ° C.
Escolha um local adequado para a colocar a garrafeira, de preferência sob uma
superfície plana e longe da luz solar ou qualquer outra fonte de calor (por
exemplo, radiadores, aquecedores de piso, aparelhos de cozinha etc).
Qualquer desigualdade do piso deve ser corrigida, utilizando os pés niveláveis,
localizados nos cantos inferior dianteiro e traseiro da garrafeira.
Esta garrafeira foi projetada apenas para instalação independente, ou
seja, não foi concebida para encastre.
Utilização de Extensões
Evite a utilização de extensões ou cabos por questões de segurança. Se for
realmente necessário usar extensões, opte apenas por uma que tenha uma
ficha e uma tomada com função de aterramento. A capacidade elétrica da
extensão deverá ser igual ou superior à capacidade elétrica da garrafeira.

Caraterísticas e Utilização da Garrafeira
Configuração Inicial
Quando a garrafeira estiver conectada a uma tomada elétrica, deixe que a
mesma funcione por, pelo menos 30 minutos. É importante que haja
aclimatização da garrafeira antes que seja feito qualquer ajuste.
Ajustar a Temperatura:

A temperatura da garrafeira foi predefinida, em fábrica, para os 12 °C.
Pressione o botão “ “ , durante 3 segundos, para alterar entre " °C” e “°F”
(opções de indicação de temperatura).
A garrafeira pode ser ajustada para qualquer temperatura entre os 5 ° C
e os 20 ° C, em todos os compartimentos para armazenagem de garrafas.
Para definir a temperatura pressione o botão " ", cerca de 3 segundos e,
de seguida, o indicador da temperatura começará a piscar. Pressione o
botão" "ou"— " para aumentar ou reduzir a temperatura.
Quando atingir a temperatura desejada, pressione o botão ou pare a
operação cerca de 5 segundos. O painel irá memorizar a configuração. O
indicador de temperatura reverterá, de forma a indicar a temperatura interna.

A garrafeira foi pré-definida, em fábrica, para corresponder, automaticamente, aos
requisitos de temperatura para vinhos tintos ou brancos. Se quiser armazenar,
maioritariamente vinhos brancos, pressione o botão "White Wine”, e a garrafeira
manterá uma temperatura média entre os 7 ° e 10 ° C. Ao pressionar o botão
"Red Wine", a temperatura estabelecer-se-á entre os 13 °C e 16 °C.
A garrafeira pode ser configurada para qualquer temperatura, consoante as
necessidades do vinho que se pretenda armazenar. Para definir a temperatura,
pressione o botão "White Wine" ou "Red Wine”, simultaneamente, e durante
aproximadamente 3 segundos. Assim, a garrafeira ficará em modo de ajuste de
temperatura. Diminua a temperatura pressionando o botão "White Wine" e aumente-a
clicando no botão "Red Wine". Pressione o botão 3 vezes, para ajustar a temperatura
em 3 graus , 4 vezes para 4 graus, 5 vezes para 5
a 5 graus e assim sucessivamente. Uma vez selecionada a temperatura desejada,
pressione o botão "Light/Set” e a garrafeira ficará programada. A temperatura interna
aparecerá no display LED da garrafeira.
Nota: Caso queira melhorar o nível de humidade no interior da garrafeira, pode colocar
água no depósito da mesma. É necessária alguma humidade para evitar que
os vinhos
com rolha sequem. Mesmo quando as garrafas são colocadas de lado na
garrafeira, uma extremidade da cortiça continua exposta ao ar. Se a cortiça
começar a secar, permitirá que haja entrada de oxigénio na garrafa, o que
poderá estragar o vinho. O excesso de humidade também poderá contribuir
para possíveis danos nos rótulos das garrafas, dificultando a identificação do
produto.

Prateleiras
As prateleiras foram concebidas para dar melhor aspecto e para
facilitar a limpeza da garrafeira. Garrafas maiores, tamanho Magnum,
são mais facilmente acomodadas nas prateleiras transversais, no
fundo da garrafeira.
Certas prateleiras facilitam o armazenamento e a remoção das
garrafas de vinho.

Luz interior
●
Para complementar o design desta garrafeira foi incorporada uma luz
interna. Apenas terá de pressionar o botão " " " " para acender
a luz e, novamente, para a desligar. Para obter a máxima eficiência
energética, deixe a luz apagada quando não necessitar da mesma.
Sons Normais de Funcionamento
Sons gorgolejantes ou ligeiras vibrações são resultado da circulação de
refrigeração, feita através das bobinas de arrefecimento.
O termostato emitirá um clique sempre que ligar ou desligar.
Enquanto a porta da garrafeira estiver aberta, a luz permanecerá
ligada. Quando a porta for fechada, a luz também se apagará.
