Phaser 340, for a total of 12 Mbytes,
increases its performance. More RAM
enlarges the printer's virtual memory,
allowing the printer's PostScript
processor to perform better. The
16-Mbyte RAM SIMM upgrades
you to the Phaser 340 Plus.

Phaser 340 Plus Upgrade
Upgrading your Phaser 340 to the
“Plus” configuration gives you
600 x 300 dots-per-inch resolution.
In addition, your printer can job
pipeline, that is, print one image
while offloading another from your
computer for greater throughput, less
waiting, and more productivity. As
an added bonus, the "Plus" printer
has 69 built-in fonts and can store
more downloadable fonts. The
Phaser 340 Plus is ideal for fast-
paced business workgroups.
