2 Safety instructions
This device is intended to be used for amplification and playback of signals from musical
instruments with electromagnetic pickups. Any other use or use under other operating condi‐
tions is considered to be improper and may result in personal injury or property damage. No
liability will be assumed for damages resulting from improper use.
This device may be used only by persons with sufficient physical, sensorial, and intellectual
abilities and having corresponding knowledge and experience. Other persons may use this
device only if they are supervised or instructed by a person who is responsible for their safety.
DANGER!
Danger for children
Ensure that plastic bags, packaging, etc. are disposed of properly and are not
within reach of babies and young children. Choking hazard!
Ensure that children do not detach any small parts (e.g. knobs or the like) from
the unit. They could swallow the pieces and choke!
Never let children unattended use electrical devices.

DANGER!
Electric shock caused by high voltages inside
Within the device there are areas where high voltages may be present. Never
remove any covers.
There are no user-serviceable parts inside.
Do not use the device if covers, protectors or optical components are missing or
damaged.
DANGER!
Electric shock caused by short-circuit
Always use proper ready-made insulated mains cabling (power cord) with a pro‐
tective contact plug. Do not modify the mains cable or the plug. Failure to do so
could result in electric shock/death or fire. If in doubt, seek advice from a regis‐
tered electrician.

CAUTION!
Possible hearing damage
The device can produce volume levels that may cause temporary or permanent
hearing impairment. Over an extended period of time, even levels that seem to
be uncritical can cause hearing damage.
Decrease the volume level immediately if you experience ringing in your ears or
hearing impairment. If this is not possible, keep a greater distance or use suffi‐
cient ear protectors.

Risk of injury due to heavy weight
Due to the heavy weight of the device, at least two persons are required for trans‐
port and installation.

Power supply
Before connecting the device, ensure that the input voltage (AC outlet) matches
the voltage rating of the device and that the AC outlet is protected by a residual
current circuit breaker. Failure to do so could result in damage to the device and
possibly injure the user.
Unplug the device before electrical storms occur and when it is unused for long
periods of time to reduce the risk of electric shock or fire.

4 Installation and starting up
Unpack and carefully check that there is no transportation damage before using the unit. Keep
the equipment packaging. To fully protect the device against vibration, dust and moisture
during transportation or storage use the original packaging or your own packaging material
suitable for transport or storage, respectively.
Create all connections while the device is off. Use the shortest possible high-quality cables for
all connections. Take care when running the cables to prevent tripping hazards.

Loudspeakers produce a static magnetic field. Therefore, maintain an appropriate

1[INPUT]
6,35-mm-Klinkenbuchse zum Anschluss Ihres Instruments.
An diesen Eingang können auch andere aktive Signalquellen wie z.B. CD- oder MP3-Player, Keyboard, Mixer etc.

Regler zum Anpassen der Vorverstärkung des Signals (Lautstärke) auf Kanal 1.

Regler zum Anpassen der Klangfarbe von Kanal 1.
4[CHANNEL SELECT]
Druckschalter zur Aktivierung von Kanal 1 oder Kanal 2. Die LED des aktiven Kanals leuchtet im Betrieb dauerhaft.
5[GAIN]
Regler zum Anpassen der Vorverstärkung des Signals (Lautstärke) auf Kanal 2.
6[VOICE]
Regler zum Anpassen der Klangfarbe von Kanal 2.

7[COMPRESSOR]
Druckschalter zum Zuschalten des eingebauten Kompressors.
Die LED [ACTIVE] leuchtet im Betrieb dauerhaft, sobald der Kompressor arbeitet. Die LED [ON] zeigt an, dass die Kom‐
pressorschaltung aktiv ist und das Signal beeinflusst. Der Signalpegel, ab dem der Kompressor das Signal bearbeitet,
wird mit den Gain-Reglern beeinflusst (je höher der Gain, desto stärker wird das Signal komprimiert).
8[7-BAND-EQUALIZER]
Mit den Schiebereglern des Equalizers kann der Sound des Verstärkers frequenzabhängig angepasst werden. In der
Nullstellung wird das Signal unverändert wiedergegeben.
9[LIMIT OFF]
Druckschalter zum Zu- bzw. Abschalten des eingebauten Limiters.
Der Limiter überwacht den Signalpegel des Verstärkers und erkennt die Impedanz eines angeschlossenen Laut‐
sprechers automatisch. Der Schutzkreis wird beim Einschalten des Geräts automatisch aktiviert und regelt das Signal
bei einem zu hohem Ausgangspegel auf ein unkritisches Niveau ab, um Verzerrungen zu vermeiden.

Regler zum Einstellen der Gesamtlautstärke.

11 [AUX IN]
Aux-Eingang zum Anschluss eines MP3- oder CD-Players (Cinch-Buchse).
12 [D.I. OUT]
Symmetrischer XLR-Ausgang zum Anschluss des Verstärkers an ein Mischpult.
Das Verstärkersignal wird unverändert in das angeschlossene Mischpult gespeist.
13 [TUNER OUT]
Ausgang zum Anschluss eines Stimmgeräts (6,35-mm-Klinkenbuchse).
14 [FOOTSWITCH]
Eingang zum Anschluss eines optionalen Fußschalters (6,35-mm-Klinkenbuchse).
Mit Hilfe eines Fußschalters kann zwischen den Kanälen des Verstärkers umgeschaltet werden.
15 [POWER]
Netzschalter. Schaltet das Gerät ein und aus.
Wenn das Gerät 30 Minuten lang kein Signal am Instrumenteneingang [INPUT] empfängt, schaltet es in den Standby-
Betrieb (LED grün). Sobald das Gerät wieder ein Signal am Instrumenteneingang [INPUT] empfängt, schaltet es
automatisch zurück in den Normalbetrieb (LED rot).
