1) Workareasafety:
a. Keeptheworkareacleanandwelllit.Clutteredandpoorlylitareasinviteaccidents.
b. Donotoperatepowertoolsinexplosiveatmospheres,suchasinthepresenceofflammableliquids,gasesordust.Powertoolscreate
sparksthatcaneasilyignitethedustorfumes.
c. Keepchildrenandbystandersawaywhileoperatingapowertool.Distractionscancauseyoutolosecontrol.
2) Electricalsafety:
a. Powertool’splugsmustmatchtheoutlet.Nevermodifythepluginanyway.Donotuseanyadaptorplugswithearthed(grounded)
powertools.Unmodifiedplugsandmatchingoutletswillreduceriskofelectricshock.
b. Avoidbodycontactwithearthedobjects,suchaspipes,radiators,rangesandrefrigerators.Thereisanincreasedriskofelectricshockif
yourbodyisearthed.
c. Donotexposepowertoolstorainorwetconditions.Waterenteringapowertoolwillincreasetheriskofelectricshock.
d. Donotabusethecord.Neverusethecordforcarrying,pullingorun‐pullingthepowertool.Keepthecordawayfromheat,oil,sharp
edgesormovingparts.Damagedorentangledcordsincreasetheriskofelectricshock.
e. Whenoperatingapowertooloutdoors,useanextensioncordsuitableforoutdooruse.Useofacordsuitableforoutdoorusereduces
theriskofelectricshock.
f. Ifoperatingapowertoolinadamplocationisunavoidable,usearesidualcurrentdevice(RCD)protectedsupply.UsinganRCDreduces
theriskofelectricshock.
3) Personalsafety:
a. Stayalert,watchwhatyouaredoingandusecommonsensewhenoperatingapowertool.Donotuseapowertoolifyouaretiredor
undertheinfluenceofdrugs,alcoholormedication.Amomentofinattentionwhileusingpowertoolsmayresultinseriouspersonal
injury.
b. Usepersonalprotectiveequipment.Alwaysweareyeprotection.Protectiveequipmentsuchasdustmask,non‐slipsafetyshoes,hard
hat,orhearingprotectionusedforappropriateconditionswillreducepersonalinjuries.
c. Preventunintentionalstarting.Ensuretheswitchisintheoff‐positionbeforeconnectingtopowersourceand/orbatterypack,picking
uporcarryingthetool.Carryingpowertoolswithyourfingerontheswitchorenergizingpowertoolsthathavetheswitchoninvites
accidents.
d. Removeanyadjustingkeyorspannerbeforeturningthepowertoolon.Aspannerorakeyleftattachedtoarotatingpartofthepower
toolmayresultinapersonalinjury.
e. Donotoverreach.Keepproperfootingandbalanceatalltimes.Thisenablesbettercontrolofthepowertoolinunexpectedsituations.
f. Dressproperly.Donotwearlooseclothingorjewelry.Keepyourhair,clothingandglovesawayfrommovingparts.Looseclothes,
jewelryorlonghaircanbecaughtinmovingparts.
g. Ifdevicesareprovidedfortheconnectionofdustextractionandcollectionfacilities,ensuretheseareconnectedandproperlyused.

4)Useandmaintenanceofpowertools:
a. Donotforcethepowertool.Usethecorrectpowertoolsuitableforyourapplication.Thecorrectpowertoolwilldothejobbetterand

saferattherateforwhichitwasdesigned.
b. Donotusethepowertooliftheswitchdoesnotturnitonandoff.Anypowertoolthatcannotbecontrolledwiththeswitchis
dangerousandmustberepaired.
c. Disconnecttheplugfromthepowersourceand/orbatterypackfromthepowertoolbeforemakinganyadjustments,changing
accessories,orstoringthepowertool.Suchpreventativesafetymeasuresreducetheriskofstartingthepowertoolaccidentally.
d. Storeidlepowertoolsoutofthereachofchildrenanddonotallowpersonsunfamiliarwiththepowertoolortheseinstructionsto
operatethetool.
Powertoolsaredangerousinthehandsofuntrainedusers.
e. Maintainingpowertools.Checkformisalignmentorbindingofmovingparts,breakageofpartsandanyotherconditionthatmayaffect
thepowertool’soperation.Ifdamaged,havethepowertoolrepairedbeforeuse.Manyaccidentsarecausedbypoorlymaintained
powertools.
f. Toolswithsharppointsaremorelikelytoinjure.Alwaysremovethetipwhendoneworkingwiththepowertool.Neverstoreapower
toolwithatipstillinsertedinthetool.
g. Usethepowertool,accessories,etc.inaccordancewiththeseinstructions,takingintoaccounttheworkingconditionsandtheworkto
beperformed.Useofthepowertoolforoperationsdifferentfromthoseintendedcouldresultinadangeroussituation.
5) Service:
a. Haveyourpowertoolservicedbyaqualifiedrepairpersonusingonlyidenticalreplacementparts.Thiswillensurethatthesafetyof
thepowertoolismaintained.

Installingthetips:
WARNING:Themainsplugmustbedisconnectedbeforemakinganyadjustments.
1. Insertthehexagonalkeyprovidedintothescrewheadatoutputshaft.
2. Choosethesuitabletipforyourjob.Thepointedtipcanbeusedonallcementbasedgroutjointssandedornon‐sanded,whenthe
groutwidthis3mm(1/8")orless.Thechiseltipisbestusedforvaryingwidthsofgrout,forexampleshower,bath&sinkareas,floor
tiles,walltiles,fireplacetiles,etc.
3. Turnthehexagonalkeyanti‐clockwiseandplacethetipintothetool.
4. Ensurethetipisfullyinsertedintothetool.
5. Turnthehexagonalkeyclockwisetotightenthetip.Oncetightened,gentlypullonthetiptocheckitissecurelyfastenedinplace.
NOTE:Donotovertightenasyoumightdamagethehexagonalkeyand/orscrewhead.
Use:
NOTE:Alwayswearsafelyglasses,dustmask,andhearingprotectionwhenusingTileForceElectricGroutRemover.Theelectricgrout
removertoolisonlysuitableforinteriorre‐groutingjobs.
1. Makesurethatthetipissecurelyfastened.
2. Connecttopowersource.
3. HoldtheElectricGroutRemoverata45degreeangle.
4. Switchto“1”toturnthetoolon.
5. Initially,thetoolshouldberunatlowspeedapplyingminimalpressuretoremovegrout.Increasespeedandpressureasrequiredfor
optimalperformance.Applyingtoomuchpressurewillcausethetooltostopvibrating.
6. Switchto“0”toturnthetooloff.

NOTE:Pleaseensureappropriatetipisusedforthegroutjointtobeworkedon.Checkthewidthofthetipagainstthegroutlinetoensure
thatthetipdoesnottouchthetile,asthesupplierwillnotacceptliabilityforanypossibletiledamage.
Strokeadjustment:
1.Lowpositionisforfinedetail,andthenarrowestofgroutwidths.
2.Mediumpositionisfordetailoftrimpieces,qtr‐rounds,v‐caps,liners,etc.
3.Highpositionisforspeedonthefieldtile,counters,walls,floors,etc.
Careandmaintenance:
Beforeservicingthetool,firstensurethatitisunpluggedfromthepowersource.
• Brushoffanydustusingasoftbrush.Wearsafetyglasseswhencleaning.
• Ifthetoolneedscleaning,useasoft,dampcloth.Neveruseabrasivecleaningagentsorsolvents.
• Watermustnotcomeintocontactwiththetool.
• Makesurethatnoneofthepartsareloose.Vibrationscanloosensomepartsaftercontinuoususe.
