INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

1. Characteristics
The corset is made of elastic compression fabric fastened by velcro
at the front. It consists of flexible underwires and aluminium stays,
which relieve and stabilize the spine, and a tightening system which
adjusts the force of stabilization. Owing to the spatial structure of
compression fabric, the corset is air permeable and removes
excessive heat and moisture perfectly. The height of the corset is
appropriate to stabilize the lumbar spine (LumboTim) or the
thoracic-lumbosacral spine (LumboTim Plus).
2. Application
The corset is used to reduce pain, in decompression of nerve roots,
in local stabilization of spine, as well as in strengthening during
verticalization of a patient who suffers from orthopedic or
neurologic injury. Owing to elastic fabric, the material has
compression effect on the muscles within the trunk.
Indications for use:
•Discopathy
•Spondylolisthesis
•Inflammations of spine joints
•Overload pain
•Degenerative changes
•Neuropathic and radiculopathy
•Increased and painful states of back muscle tone
•In post-surgery treatment and rehabilitation process

3. Contraindications
Do not use in case of:
•Skin abrasion
•Eczema
•Wound and other skin injuries
•After application of warming gel or rub
•Individual contraindications which were determined by the
doctor during interview and physical examination

5. Fitting instruction
Note! Follow the information contained in this manual while fitting
and adjustment. Users with severe pain in the lumbar spine and
with reduced mobility may need help from a third person who has
appropriate skills.
•To put the corset on, unfasten the velcro and supporting
straps which are located at the front of the corset. Wrap the
trunk around from the back to the front at the level of the
lumbosacral spine. Fasten the stabilizing strap at the front and
lateral supporting straps.
•Remember that only properly matched size guarantees correct
stabilization and relief.

7. Maintenance
•
Hand wash in warm water at 30°C. Do not: tumble dry,
chlorinate, iron, bleach, dry clean.
•
Ensure the velcro is fastened in order not to destroy the
material.
•
Dry at room temperature far from intensive heat source.

8. Storage and transport conditions
Product should not be exposed to water or moisture.
