5. Notes and recommendations
•Note! Do not use the product without doctor’s advice.
•Note! Use the product according to doctor’s or physiotherapist’s recommendation.
•Do not use the product in case of contraindications listed in point 4.
•Note! The immobilizer must be adjusted and fitted properly in terms of size. Too loose or too
tight immobilizer may cause skin abrasion.
•Note! Remember that the time of wearing the immobilizer should be shortened
systematically and determined by the professional doctor or physiotherapist who possesses
proper medical qualifications.
•Note! Check the condition of the product regularly. In case of any damage, report
immediately to the point of sale.
•Do not make any repairs or modifications by yourself.

6. Fitting instruction
Note! Do not use the immobilizer when you notice any visible or perceptible damage.
Note! Follow the information contained in this manual while fitting and adjustment. Users with
severe pain in upper limb and reduced mobility may need help from a third person who has
appropriate skills.
•Put on the immobilizer in sitting or standing position.
•Put the circumferential strap with abduction pillow around patient’s trunk and fasten with
the use of the clip, and then, adjust the length.
•The abduction pillow should be placed in frontal-lateral part of the trunk.
•Put the forearm into the sling so that the elbow joint is at the back of the sling.
•Wrap the opposite shoulder with strap from the back to the front, lead the strap through the
buckles of the sling and attach to the Velcro strap. Then, adjust the length of the strap.
•Stabilize the sling at the abduction pillow with the use of Velcro and included short straps.
•Foamed pillow which is attached at the main wedge 30° is used to stabilize the position of
the forearm and to prevent free arm drop.
•Remember that only properly matched size of the immobilizer guarantees correct
stabilization and relief of the upper limb.
