(UK) Glue guard. Prevents glue getting between moving parts during build. Remove after 2
minutes.

pieces en mouvement. Enlever apres 2 minutes.
(ESP) Parte de protection de el pegamento. Durante la fase de esambalje, evitar que el pegamento

Upper & Lower Gear Assembly

With a single thickness of glue shield card
between the upper and the lower gear assembly
and with the two shafts parallel to one another,
apply glue to the long sides of #21 and slide the
block along the shaft into the grove in #20. Allow
to dry. Remove card.
Leave glue shield between #17 and #22 in place
until #22 has dried in position. This is to ensure a
gap for free movement.
Glue #21 into place but do not get
glue in centre hole or on to shaft.

The 5x48mm shaft should be
placed between the two 3x20mm
pegs when bringing the two
halves together.
Glue part #21 in place at
the same height from the
underside of part #4 as
part #21 was glued from
the bottom of part #20
earlier. (Stage 11d).
Sand the surface of part
21 back level with edges
of part #2 if it is proud.
