!WARNINGFailure to follow anySAFETYINSTRUCTION could cause severeinjury
oreven death to the scooter operator,passenger or a bystander.
ProtectiveGear
Ridingascooter leaves the rider exposed. Therefore, wearing appropriateprotectivegear
canpreventor diminishinjuriesfromaccidents.
1. AnApprovedHelmet
Themajority ofseriousmotorcycleinjuries and deathsarethe direct resultofahead injury.
Therefore,driversand passengers should always wear an approvedhelmettopreventor
reducethe chance of headinjury.

Anapproved helmet needs to:
•MeetU.S.DepartmentofTransportation(DOT)andstatestandards. Inaddition
withlabelsfromtheSafetyHelmetCouncilofAmerica,theAmericanNational
StandardInstitute (ANSI),ortheSnell MemorialFoundationto assure theintegrity
oftheproduct.
•Fitssnuglyonyour head.
•Havenoobvious defects such as cracks, loose padding or frayedstraps.
2. EyeandFace Protection
•Aplastic faceshieldcanhelp preventaccidentsbyguarding thefacefromdebris,
allowingthe ridertodevote full attentiontothe road.
•Gogglescanprotect your eyes in the same manner. Neveruseeyeglassesor
sunglassesin placeaface shieldorgoggles.
3. Clothing
•Brightclothingshould be worn by the driversoastobeeasilyseen by other
motorists.
•Jacketandpantsshouldcoveryourarmsandlegscompletely,but not too loose to
flapin the windorcatchon the leversorwheelswhich could resultinanaccident.

•Leatheror heavy denimclothingispreferred as thesematerialshelp to preventor
reduceabrasion.
•Bootsorshoes should be high enough to coveryouranklesandsturdyenoughto
providesupport.
•Glovesgive you a bettergripandhelp protect your handsfromtheelements.
SafeRiding
•Keepenough distance fromtheother vehicles aroundyouasthis givesyoutimeto
react.
•Ensurethat youhaveadriver’slicensewith correctclassificationtoride thisscooter
inyour state.
•Alwaysobservetherulesoftheroad. Observe the posted speed limit, and signal
yourturnswellinadvance.
•Knowyourlimits. Donotgofasterthenyouareabletocontrol. Alwaystravelata
speedthatis proper for the terrain,operatingconditions,andyourexperience.
•Alwaysinspect your scooter each timeyouuseitto make sure itisinsafeoperating
condition.
•Alwaysfollowtheinspection andschedulemaintenance proceduresdescribedin
thismanual.

•Testyourbrakesafteroperationinwetconditions. Ifnecessary, apply the brakes
severaltimestoletfrictiondryout thelinings.
•Neverattemptwheelies,jumpsand other stunts, as these could cause damage to
thescooterandlossofcontrol.
•Alwayskeepbothhands on the handlebars and feet on the floor board during
operation.
•Neverconsume alcohol ordrugsbeforeor while riding scooter.
•Limitthetraveldistancetoavoidfatigue thatcanaffect yourperformance.
Being seen
Manyscooter accidents are causedby car drivers whodo not see scooter riders on the
road. Thereforeyou need toensuretofollow theseguidelines:
•Wearbright clothingtoincreasevisibility. Brightorange, yelloworgreenjacketsor
vestsand brightly coloredhelmetcanhelp others seeyou.
•Alwaysuse turnsignalswhenyou areplanningtoturn ormergeto main roadand
turnit offafteryou havemadeyourturn.
•Flashbrake lights wheneveryouaregoing to slowdownmorequickly or where
othersmaynotexpectyou are going to slow down.
•Stayoutof blind spot of other motorists.
•Whenyou cometoanintersection, movetotheportion ofyourlane that willbring
youintoanotherdriver’sfieldofsightat theearliestpossible moment.

CarryingPassengers&Loading
!WARNING:
•This scooter is rated for 2 passengers; total weight of the rider and the
passenger must not exceed 330 lbs.

•Do not exceed 17.5 lbs of cargo.

•Attach the load securely since a loose load can catch in the wheel or rack
causingskidding.
Youshouldavoidcarryingpassengersorlargeloadsuntilyouhavegainedsufficient
experienceridingalone. Extraweightchangeshandling,stability,brakingperformance,turns,
acceleration and deceleration. To carry passengers safely you must:
1. Instructthepassengerbefore you start.
•Mustwear a helmet.
•Geton the motorcycle afteryouhavestartedthe engine.
•Sitas far forwardaspossiblewithout crowding the driver.
•Holdfirmly to yourwaist,hips,or belt orpassengerhandle.
•Keepbothfeetonthepegsatalltime,evenwhenthe motorcycle is stopped.
•Keeplegsawayfrom themuffler.
•Staydirectlybehindyou, leaningasyoulean.
•Avoidanyunnecessary talkingor motion.

2. Adjustyour ridingtechniquewithpassenger
•Goslower
•Startslowingearlierasyouapproachastop.
•Maintainalargercushion of space ahead and to the sides.
•Wait for largergapswhen you want to cross, enter, ormergewith traffic.
Ascooteris not really designedtocarrycargo.However, smallloadscanbecarriedsafely
ifthey are positionedandfastenedproperly.
3. Therearluggagerack can carry 11 lbs max.Thecompartmentunder the seat can carry
6.5 lbs max. No more than 17.5 lbs. total.
4. Keepthe load low and distribute the load evenly. An uneven load cancausethescooter
todrifttooneside.
Gasoline& Exhaust Fumes
!WARNINGGasoline ishighly flammableand exhaustfumes arepoisonous:
•Turnoffenginebeforerefueling.
•notto spill anygasolineonthe engine, exhaustsystemor the plasticbody.
•Donot refuelwhilesmokingornear anyopenflame.

•Donotoperate your scooter in a closed area as theexhaustfumes may cause loss
ofconsciousness ordeathwithina shorttime.
•Donotparkthescooternear any flammable source.
•Ifyouswallowgasoline, inhalegasolinevapororspillgasolineinto youreyes,see
doctorimmediately or callAmericanAssociationof PoisonControlCentersat 1-
800-222-1222 for assistance.
•Ifyouspillgasoline onyourclothes, changeandwashtheaffected areaimmediately
withsoap.
Modification
Anymodificationstothisscooterorremovaloforiginalequipmentwithoutapprovalfrom
TN’GScootersmaycauseittobeunsafeforuseandmaytriggersevereaccident.
Modificationsmayalsomakeyourscooterillegal touseand willvoidany andallwarranty
coverage.

(empty)as thegaslevelis decreasing.
ThrottleControl(see page 16)
•Controlspeed by rotatingthethrottle. (RightGrip)
•Toaccelerate speed, rotate the throttle towards you.
•Todeceleratespeed,rotate the throttle away from you.
ElectricStarter(see page 16) - StartsEngine using battery power.
NOTE:Neverengage starter for more than 3-5 seconds atatime to avoid possible
damage.
HornButton(see page 16) -To sound thehorn, press this button.

EngineStopSwitch(see page 16) – Setthe switch to on before startingthe engine. Set the
switchtoofffor EMERGENCYSTOP. Forexample,ifthescooteroverturnsoryou
cannotdecreasespeedwith the throttle.
Rear Brake Lever/ Front Brake Lever (see page 16) – To decrease speed and stop the
scooterfrommoving. Toapplyrearbrake,pulltheleft brake lever gradually. Toapplythe
frontbrake,pullthe rightlevertowards throttlegripgradually.
StorageCompartment
•Tounlockthe underseat storage compartment, seeTABLE 1.1 (page 17) under
ignitionswitch.
•Oncethe seat is unlocked, raise theseat pad to access the storagecompartment.
•Press the seat pad down to lock it.
!WARNING:
•Thestoragecompartmentcan carry 6.5 lbs max.
•Donotexceed maximum 17.5 lbs for cargo.
•Ensurethe storagecompartmentislocked beforeriding.
