Instructions for use
Top Lift - facilitates for a person who has difficulties in getting up and sitting down.
This instruction contains important information for users of this product. Everyone who uses the
product must study and fully understand the contents of the instruction. Bear in mind keeping the
instruction so that it´s always available for the user of the product. Top Hygien will take on no
responsibility if the product is changed, modified or assembled in a different way from what is
described in this instruction.
General information
Top Lift facilitates for a person who has difficulties in getting up and sitting down when going to the
toilet. With a simple press of a button the sitting height is raised or lowered to the wanted level. The
lift is assembled directly on the water closet and is neither needed to be fastened to the wall or to be
supported against the floor. This makes it easy to install and simplifies cleaning.
The height is regulated up and down with buttons folded in the armrest or with a hand control
assembled directly on to the china without having to make holes in the floor or in the wall. The
armrests can be easily folded up to facilitate moving sideways. Top Lift can be combined with bidet
chair Bidéra Automatic or Futura.
Intended use for Top Lift
Read the instruction concerning the lift and its fittings before use. It´s important to fully understand
the contents of the instruction. Please contact Top Hygien if there are any uncertainties or if you
have any questions.
Top Lift is intended for mounting on an already existing floor attached water closet aiming at
facilitating going to the toilet for a person who has difficulties getting up and sitting down. The lift is
also suited for wallattached water closets on condition that the water closet and its installation is
dimensioned for the user´s weight and its own wight ( consult the technical specification).
The lift must only be provided with the intended original water closet or bidet chair Bidéra Automatic
or Futura from Top hygien.
The lift must be installed by a person qualified according to the istallation instructions from Top
hygien.
The lift must not in any case be modified! Any questions will be answered by Top hygien.
Don´t use and don´t assemble any parts on the lift from a third party who isn´t approved by Top
hygien. If unapproved fittings are used Top hygien can no longer guarantee that the security
regulations will be fullfilled.
Always make sure that the lift when cleaned or maintained cannot be handled by mistake.
Always follow the manufacturer´s recommendations according current maximum weight and
distribution of load.
Guarantees will only be valid if the product is used under the present circumstances and for the
intended purpose. Top hygien disclaim the responsibility for damages or errors caused by negligence,
accident or improper use.

Security instructions
Make sure that the Lift is assembled according to the instructions before use.
See to it that the user and every possible companion is fully in agreement with how the lift works.
Children are not allowed to use or play with the product.
If the lift is handled by another person than the one sitting on the lift the former must make sure that
the lifting is correctly performed.
Notice that the lift can make a possible squeezing risk.
Always when the lifting function is used make sure that no clothes, hands, feet or other parts of the
body could be squeezed. Also be aware that there could be a squeezing risk between the lift and
other products e g the toilet paper holder attached to the wall or basin.
Do not use an extension cable if not absolutely necessary. Use of unsuitable extension cables might
increase the risk of fire and electrical shock.
See to it that nobody can step or stumble on the cable and that it is not the object of another kind of
strain or risk of injury.
The electronic box of the lift or other incapsulated electrical components must only be opened or
manipulated by a qualified person.
Repairing shall be carried out by educated personnell. Always contact Top hygien about lifting
problems.

Supervision and maintenance
To have a lift free from problems for many years it should be regularly supervised.
Check the product for any component damages and that screws and fastening devices are tightened
and securely fixed. Do not tighten any screw too tight.
See to it that contacts and cables are undamaged and securely fixed.
If defective parts are discovered they should be immedeately exchanged by a qualified person.

closet according to the manufacturer´s instruction.
If you are uncertain about any functions of the lift you should contact Top hygien or your aid´s
central.
Advice concerning maintenance
Top lift is very reliable and doesn´t need any specific maintenance except for superficial cleaning and
regularly looking after ( as above).
Regularly clean the Top lift with soap solution and afterwards dry with a damp cloth. If need be use
disinfectant.
Disconnect the current to the lift so that it won´t be operated during cleaning.
Transport and storage
The lift should be stored in room temperature.
During transport the original packing should be used if possible.
Environment and sorting according to source
All electrical parts are dismantled and sorted as electrical components.
Plastic details are sent to burning and recycling.
Metal parts, wheels and aluminium are scrapped.
Old batteries are left to an environmental station.
