1. Registration of Butler 550 on Freeport base
Activate registration mode on Freeport base:
•unplug and replug power
Or
•via the PC configuration software in < basestation configuration > / < registration mode>
Or
•via other handset already registered on the Freeport base :
•Dial ‘
* 782 # ‘ (SUB) on the handset
•Press off hook key
•Enter the administration pin code : ‘ 1111‘ (default value)
•Press confirmation key on handset (OK or #)
•Enter :
•‘
1 # ‘ : to activate the subscriber mode
•Press on hook key
2. Making Internal calls
Press <INT> key followed by extension number

3. External calls
Press <line key> followed by external number
4. Answering internal and external calls
Press <line key> to answer call when handset ringing.
When it is internal call, you will see INT in the display of the Butler 550.
NOTE: no calling number in display of Butler 550 handset
5. Call pick up
Press < *555 > followed by <line key> to do call pick up of call ringing on other handset.
6. Call transfer to other extension
During call, press < P > < INT> key followed by extension number to transfer call to other
handset. The connection with the Freeport base will automatically be hanged up after call
transfer. (No need to press line key to hang up.
7. Call Forwarding
To use the call forwarding, press:
•Dial < * 253 # >
•Press <line key>
•‘
1x# ’ (x = last digit of handset (21: x =1)) for follow me of internal calls
•‘
2x# ‘ (x = last digit of handset (21: x =1)) for follow me of external calls
•‘
3x# ‘ (x = last digit of handset (21: x =1)) for follow me of all calls
•‘
00# ‘ to deactivate a call forward
•Press < line key > on the handset after 3 sec.
Note: no display info visual during activation or deactivation CFU.
8. Do not disturb

* 363 # > (DND) on the handset
•Press the < line key >
•Enter :

1 # ‘ : to activate do not disturb for internal calls

2 # ‘ : to activate do not disturb for external calls

•Press <redial key > for confirmation

1 # ‘ : to allow only local calls ( calls not starting with ‘0’ )

2 # ‘ : to allow only national calls (calls not starting with ‘00’)
