Note:Thetractionunitmustbeequippedwiththe
AttachmentFrameKit,ToroPartNo.110–8540before
theV-PlowMountingKitcanbeinstalled.
1.Positionthemachineonaclean,levelsurface.Lower
anyimplement,stoptheengine,applytheparking
brakeandremovethekeyfromtheignitionswitch.
2.TopreventthePTOshaftfromrotatingwhenthe
V-plowismounted,locatetheelectricclutchonthe
enginecrankshaftandunplugtheconnectorfrom
themachinewireharness.

•Loosencarriageboltsandnutsretainingnose
skidtofrontofplow(Figure7).Next,adjust
noseskidsoit’sbottomedgeisevenwithbottom
ofplow(Figure7).Lastly,tightennutsand
carriageboltssonoseskidremainsinplace.
Important:Whenscraperbladesornose
skid(Figure7)weardown,theycanbe
reversedbyremovingcarriageboltsand
nuts.Neverallowscraperbladesornoseskid
towearevenwithbottomsurfaceofplow.
Reversescraperbladesornoseskidbefore
plowstartstowear.

adjustedupwardsoplowcontactssurface.By
contrast,skidsmustbeadjusteddownward-raise

gravelorcrushedrocksurfaces.Toadjustthe
postskids,removepinandadjustthespacers.
