6.ExtensionCord
Ensurethatyourextensioncordisingoodcondition.When
usinganextensioncord,useoneheavyenoughtocarry
thecurrentyourproductwilldraw.Anundersizedextension
cordwillcauseadropinlinevoltage,resultinginlossof
powerandoverheating.Thefollowingtableliststhecorrect
cordsizedependingonthelengthofthecord.Ifyouarein
doubt,usethenextheaviergauge.Thesmallerthegauge
number,theheavierthegauge.

OperatingTips
•Keepthetrimmertiltedtowardtheareabeingcut;thisisthe
bestcuttingarea.
•Thestringtrimmercutswhenpassingtheunitfromleftto
right.Thisavoidsthrowingdebrisattheoperator.
•Usethetipofthestringtodothecutting;donotforcethe
stringheadintouncutgrass.
•Usingthetrimmeralongwireandpicketfences,stoneand
brickwalls,curbs,andwoodcancausethelinetorapidly
wearandevenbreak.
•Avoidtreesandshrubs.Treebark,woodmoldings,siding,
andfencepostscaneasilybedamagedbythestrings.

1.Wipethetrimmercleanwithadampcloth.Donothosethe
trimmerdownorsubmergeitinwater.

lost,repairorreplaceit.
